Holy cow, almost 500 subs now and a viewcount that surpassed my expectations - don't worry, I'm still alive and active on the bunker project, I just can't find the time to produce videos that are up to my standards atm. I made up my mind on how to start a video series on Cold War bunkers and how to do an introduction to it all recently though, there will be more to come this year :)

That Bunker is in an amazing state of preservation. Wow
@@BeyondtheBlastdoor yeah I've seen them over here (UK) in ROTOR bunkers but never on that scale, like I said in my comment before the restoration job you've done on it is lovely.
So in “the situation” that air filtration room would then be off limits. The simple design ensures no need for maintenance. Maintaining air filtration in such a situation potentially would mean death for all inhabitants, thus it had to be as simple as possible.
This was indeed an interesting peek into the working mechanics of a Emergency (Nuclear or otherwise)Shelter. but it doesn't really address the question upon which this presentation was supposed to be based.
You are completely correct - the title stands in correlation to the mentioned discussion on facebook and doesn't really make sense without the context of that discussion - I plan to clear things up in the videos to come!
Depends heavily on the level of escalation - if we are talking 'ICBMs leaving their silos' you are absolutely correct, for tactical uses it can have many implications ranging from very limited numbers of warheads used to a devastated central Europe. Also it was asked in context to the Cold War ;)
I'm pretty sure I know the password, blur out the whole hand if you want to keep other clever people or dumb computer programs from making an educated guess

That was really cool. The place has been very well taken care of. It amazing to see them in such good shape. Great video, thanks for sharing!
Amazing! Please make more videos of the bunker
WOW! It is well maintained and still working, after what 50-60 years.
Great bunker 😮
The graphics in this new fallout game are amazing
its got to be said, that Bunker is in Lovely Condition.
Question at 10:04 are those Hand Cranks for the Filters in case of Power failure?
@@88HEATHENWOLF you are correct! There were 6 in total, not all rooms would've been ventilated in that case.

Do you have more videos? What about the other rooms? Any laboratories?
Wow beautiful condition 👏
Jesus freaking Christ, how did they suck air through that much quartz sand?
It will be around the 7th time I redid the video by then but expect an update video on October 3rd :)

Soooo Awsome i want my own underground bunker :)lol
What specifically does the German sign to the air filtration area say?
at 0:21 the one above the door says "Sand filter" and the one on the right says "Danger! Do not step behind the door!"
at 9:34 the door says "filter room. Please close door" and the red one says "Space filter room. Danger of radiation!"
@@bavarianmonkey8326 ok, thanks!
You won't eat 31 year old tinned food? This is a job for @Steve1989MREInfo
Why’s wearing that get up???
Holy shit this is so cool
Is it possible to live in such a place?
If you can pay for heating :D I will definitely get into detail of life in the bunker in later videos :)
@@BeyondtheBlastdoor we're still waiting lol
@@karlo916 there will be an update video soon, expect it on october 3rd :)

Don't worry my dude, the door was already unlocked and I just typed in random numbers - but very keen eyes ;)
Is a nuclear war survivable? Yes, but not for humans.
