Great video as always Echo. You can also sell extracted stones on the market for much more than you pay to make them. If you create stones with multi skills for another class, you can sell those for MUCH more on the market for other classes who want them to buy. Then buy skill stones for your class from the market with the platinum you earn = win win and you earn more platinum.
Since upgrading new charms is cheaper than imbuing old ones, I would have kept the Wrath of the Berserker one and tried to upgrade it to rank 5. Slim chance it would have had 3 barb skills like your current one, but just another way to gamble it I suppose without spending platinum. Great video!
I was super lucky to get directly for my very first charm, 4 skills out of 5. Since then, i burned all the new charms to not get the last skill on my first charm. I was super lucky yet I'm frustrated with the system. Especially knowing that then you can still upgrade the skills to 10%, but still in a frustrating machine slots style.
It should be 100% free if it doesn’t guarantee that ability that you’re imbuing into it has a SLIGHT chance. I could 100% understand the 500 platinum if it was a guarantee

One of my clan mates has used skill stones with same skill...and got a percentage upgrade. His 2% damage was increased to 4% damage...he did it multiple times for different skills...it cost lots of platinum but he did do it. Might be worth trying since I've seen the results
Convoluted but it is going to encourage people to either play more to gather charms and platinum, or spend money to do the same. Doesn't really matter to me, because I don't play competitively.
VERY useful guide which explains the exact frustrating process I have already been through. Unlike yours my Monk charm equipped has only 1 skill relevant and 4 unusable. I got these 4 by the process you described, going through so far more than 20 other charms, upgrading to a 5, extracting and imbueing, all for no improvement. It's frankly a most ridiculous system, akin to nothing more than a fruit machine.... as many have said before, best to just sell skill stones if you care about making any in-game money otherwise it's a long annoying road, maybe to no avail
This is how I save up on plats aside from selling normal gems. I already got lv 5 charm with all skills for necro. It is better to buy lv 5 charm with at least 3 skill bonuses (suited for your character) from the market than just making one for youself. I sell lots of skill stones before I was able to achieve a charm with 5 skill bonuses.
I think that you can sell the skill stone at high price platinum than you created it (500 platinum) by the way I'm also lucky that I got 3 skills (barbarian) which I'm actually using (hammer of the ancient, dyeing rage & demoralize) it would be great if can get whirlwind the last skill I'm using.
It's a really "expensive" process for how RNG it is. The problem with this is that, the skills on the list of the charm, can not be your final build skills... so for instance, for PvE you may use a different set of skills than for PvP. So be careful with that.

Had a funny but scary though. The entire process implemented in the popular game is that you have no garunetees in life, even if paying for an advantage.
I got super lucky one day and my extraction and viewing process and I have a five skiller barbarian charm every stat I want to re-roll on an interview it took the second skill and it always happened to be a barbarian skill so I got so lucky

I know the charm "hammer of the ancient " gives an extra charge. It would be cool to have a list of the charms that change, alter or add to regular skills. Overall 2% damage is kinda lack luster.

The other point is that you would have to be amazingly lucky to get anything over 2% never mind a 10%!

When they have one piece of the game that is manipulated outside of an MF algorithm, all I can assume is that all chance-based things in the game are also manipulated.

Unable to dismantle level 2 charms and above to at least get some materials back is annoying af, wish I'd knew that before ranking them up.
But how do you get more then 2% on them? I landed on one wich I already had 2% but it didn't multiply. They just deleted it

Hi, I've had the chance to infuse my banner (crusader here) 3 times now, but it's still at 2%. How increase ?
You need to get the higher banner options. 2% 4% 6%. It’s not how many times you infuse it but infusing it with those higher options

The extra charge is from legendary equipament, not from the charm... the charm adds damage only
