Motorhome Trip to Florence and Hu Firenze Camping (Italy)
In the Laika Kosmo Motorhome we head to Hu Firenze Camping, a beautiful campsite on the outskirts of Florence City, Tuscany. On arrival we check in and head to our premium pitch that we pre-booked. We then explore the site, visiting the pool bar and then the site restaurant later that day.
The next morning we take the shuttle bus in to Florence, only €3 return each. From there we walked along by the River Arno and headed up to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the copy of David. Then we walked back down and headed to the amazing Piazza della Signoria. We walked around the square, admiring the statues and the Palazzo Vecchio.
We walked through the streets and made our way into Piazza Del Duomo and saw the Santa Maria Cathedral. This was very impressive.
From there we continued our walk to Holy Cross Square. Another spectacular Square, with a church and various buildings to admire.
After several hours sightseeing we headed back to the shuttle bus and enjoyed another meal in the onsite restaurant.
We would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone visiting Florence.

I had a fantastic time visiting Florence, I’m not a city person but found this interesting and the bustle added to the visit.
Hu Firenze was a very well organised and looked after site. 😊👍

Hello thanks for your video. Please, i will staying in the same camp but i want to know if its possible take the shuttle from the city to the camp. Which will be the stop in the center of the city.

There is only one stop and that is where we got on and off, we bought the shuttle ticket at the campsite so if you are going from the city to the campsite I don’t know if you can pay onboard the shuttle. If you email the campsite they are very helpful and will be able to answer your question. Enjoy your trip, we had a great time. There are details about the shuttle bus on the campsite website too.
