- NEW Carthago C2 Tourer (Smart Liner) 2025 : 3500kg A-Class
For 2025, Carthago introduce the C2 Tourer, a Mercedes Benz based Motorhome. The C2 comes in 8 possible layouts, with 3 being available on their lightweight chassis. This 3.5t model means those with no C1 licence category can still get in to a Carthago. In this video we look just at the 3 lightweight models, filmed at their launch at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf.
The benefit too is that they are only 2.17m wide so it makes them a compact and agile option for many.
You can visit the Carthago website to discover the full range on the C2 Tourer. There is also a C1 Tourer range available too which might be of interest.

Ty for this C2 !!!Im bus driver but im looking for small motorhome.
I drive 20 years Mercedes Citaro bus.
Thank you for watching and I hope you find the right motorhome for you 😊
Thank you for watching..yes, quite a few don’t have access to the garage storage and it is quite handy to be able to reach through to get items out. 😊
Bling bling
Thanks for the video. Wonder if you can help. We had a pop top transporter LWB, but we found we couldn’t swing a cat. It put us off van life, but wonder if we went bigger it’s a whole new ball game. Wouldn’t want something 7 metres plus, maybe just over 6 but with a decent lounge/chill area. Would sleep 3. Any ideas and thanks in advance. 😊
Thank you for watching David, the choice available depends very much on your budget. A 6 metre motorhome is still easy to park and get around in, once you go over 7 metres it does make days out more of logistical plan. With 6 metres you will be limited with internal space, but there are plenty of choices between 6-7 metres. I have attached a link for a good search website. You can specify your budget and length. Don’t enter berths as it limits it and many of these have an option to add extra berths to make the 3 you want. Adria and Bürstner do good shorter length models long with Roller Team. Swift have a few shorter options and Laika have a great new model the Kosmo L 105..just launched and it will be at the NEC in October. It’s a 6 metre model with big lounge in the rear and a drop down bed. It is in my Laika video from a few weeks ago. findmyleisurevehicle.co.uk/search?vehicleTypes%5B%5D=motorhome&shippingLengthMin=5&shippingLengthMax=6
Try this website search to get a few ideas and I hope you find something suitable. A motorhome is certainly more spacious than a van conversion so I hope you find something. 😊
@@HereWeTow thank you for the advice 👍😀
No problem at all..plenty to look at so just take your time. The Show is on soon at the NEC, if you make a list of possibles it’s a good time to see them all under one roof 😊
@@HereWeTow thanks, will do 👍
Payload will be tiny at 3500, you must be knackered after all these videos.
Thanks for watching, yes I was ready for a rest! 😂 Yes, the compromise is the payload, depending on the options you add.
@@phil342 that’s because they can and mostly will be up -plated to I think 4400, might be 4500
That is the maximum load weight, but it is dependent on the rear axle weight limit and that will usually require rear air suspension to increase it to its max and up-plating. It is actually confusing for buyers who think they can load the rear to that weight regardless. I have done a video about up-plating earlier this year 😊
❤❤❤❤❤ how much is in euro ❤❤❤❤❤
From 121000 euro 😊
@HereWeTow thanks wery much
The big C ! Nobody wants the big C lol
