Celtic Worship is a collective of some of Scotland’s most talented folk musicians who craft worship from a unique standpoint, blending traditional and contemporary Christian music with the sounds of their native roots. Initially coming together as a one-off band for an event in 2017, Celtic Worship have since become established trailblazers in the Celtic Christian sphere; revisiting old hymnal treasures and writing new Scottish ecclesiastical music marked by the sound of their cultural and historical context. The band is composed of musicians from many different backgrounds and styles, including Steph Macleod, Mhairi Marwick, Scott Wood, Gus Stirrat, Naomi Stirrat, Ifedade Thomas and Chris Amer. The amalgamation of these distinct musical personalities and range of genres crowned with the unifying love of God makes up the standout sound marked by fellowship revealed in Celtic Worship’s expression. It’s a prayer for rescue, more than a song of praise. It’s a call of desperation saying, don’t let me leave you, God.
I’ve been walking with Christ for 37 years and still loving this God who repaired my broken family, saved me from suicide, gave me my own family and now helps me to teach the next generation.

I am. Listening to this song tonight after having an asthma attack. My breath wouldn't come out fully and ny breaths were short. I took my medicine and just lay there holding my husband's hand. I was praying for Jesus to look after my family and husband. I felt at peace, tears slid from my eyes. I just stopped forcing my breaths and accepted the future with God. It took time and a few more puffs of medication and I can breathe again. What amazed me was I was at peace. Thank you Lord for beiing there with me.

"Prone to wander, Lord I feel it" - Yes, I do feel it. I grew up in church, but I did not genuinely trust Christ for salvation until my teens. Now in my early 50s, I can honestly say that the longer I live and the more I grow, the more conscious I become of how deep is the sin that still remains. If I want to learn some humility, I need to look no further than my own failings. I know what is inside me, and I know my will is weak. I know every part of me is corrupted by sin, despite what growth I have made by His grace alone. But that is not a reason to give up striving to live for Him. It is reason to despair of any hope of living by human strength alone, but it is also reason to instead rely on His grace and provision despite my own weaknesses. I am saved by His grace alone, . . . and by His grace alone I can live for Him, even though I will continue to fall short.
Where God guides He provides. May we all speak the truth, confess our mistakes, and show compassion to others as God showed us through his gift of Jesus Christ to the world.
I love the old hymns. They are not just repeating one catch phrase over and over like many contemporary worship songs; they are songs written out of life experiences and hardships. We are blessed to have these wonderfull musicians' Celtic renditions that help to embrace the pain of our struggles in life and the victory we have with our heavenly father's intervention and love.
An old hymn written in the 18th century by a 22 year old man ♥️ sung and played by talented Celtic musicians 😢🥰❤❤❤❤ my grandfather was from near Killarney...so this sound is deep in my roots...and Jesus has been my anchor for 43 years ...TY and love from san pedro california 😍❤

I just left the Pentacostal church due to wild music. No hymns. Not even for Easter or Christmas. I found a wonderful Methodist church that sings the old hymns. Now I feel like I'm in church instead of a nightclub.
Not all Pentecostal churches have gone Charismania. Beware of Methodists who allow homosexual pastors.
You shouldn't be seeking a church that benefits you but what can you do for the kingdom of G-d, friend.

@francismatatan5048 Even the New Testament does seem to encourage church going though. Not as something necessary for salvation but so that we as Christians can serve one another and encourage each other. The love that Christians are commanded to have for one another is supposed to be an example to others.
It really can be difficult to find a faithful church sometimes though, and for those of us with a little social anxiety, it can be a little stressful. 😄

Agreed. Churches are not to take the place of God's grace but they are to fortresses of God's Word and a refuge from the worldly noise and a chance to renew one's spirit when the world becomes too much.

I lost a great ham radio friend about 2years ago I think but it was very hard to let him but I was encouraged to keep on doing the stuff if it still hurts me . I know that that the bad past can still hurt you if you still remember them . The best way is to listen to calm and soothing music like this one

@@AJHurley-xn3jn I was never lost (I think ) , I just as a teen like my peers stop going to church , started believe some things are church made etc...then something changed and even if I always believed in God and loved him I was not able to love my "enemies" , then he showed me how!I started read the bible , I increase my life's level and I want to help people...what I an trying to say is evil wants and can destroy us if we are far away from God even if we believe in him...Take care brother life is hard.

My 16 month old daughter LOVES this song!! She's always so excited when I turn it on and comes running to dance and spin. Evelynn loves the flute, bagpipes, and violin.
One of the songs with the bagpipes solo made her cry because she was soo touched. I never knew bagpipes could be so moving. I've tried to play other videos with the pipes but she only likes how celtic worshipers play it!

Dear Robin, Christ is indeed the "Fount of every blessing". At the start, our limited spirits can only take a little at a time. Picture a Fount like a water dispenser, you need to return to it several times a day to quench your thirst. Keep coming back to the Word of God, just take one wee verse or quote from Jesus at a time and let it renew and cleanse your thoughts, words, attitudes. He will fill you with "living water". He promised that to the Samaritan woman at the well; she wasn't "perfect" or even looking for Christ, yet he came and met her at her place of need. He can do that for you, Robin, as he has done and is still doing for me and millions of others. All those who come to Him he will in no way cast out (John 6v37). God bless you.

i was saved at 6 years old didn't understand it fell away 11 years later on Sunday Feb 12th the lord made this song pop up to lead me, from my head to a church in town different from the current church i went to, i went to the piano in the youth room waiting for the teacher started playing this (on piano 0 knowledge by ear) and i missed one note, i see the hymnal and i grab a bunch of pages and flip, the one i land on first try was this very song, throughout the youth bible study we talked about how the people jesus taught didnt have a saving faith and that hit hard for me, that very day in main service he invited those unsaved to have a chance to be saved, and i fealt the tug and i came back to god
Our 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter sings this…yes she say ebenezer and interposed…joy to my heart!

The human who claims no temptations befell them is a liar. The key is to do as Christ preached & start your life with call for forgiveness after repentance. Samson the man's man called for the destruction of his enemies, but Christ the Son of God called for forgiveness because they know not what they do. How can we not love God the father, the Son & the Holy Ghost ? Beautiful haunting quality to this music and yet it is both soft & powerful.

I love your version a lot. There is a verse that is not used a lot when people sing or record this song but it is my favorite. Love this version of the song. My absolute favorite. So talented. As someone with mostly Scottish ancestry, Celtic Christian music runs deep with me.

We were in China at the time and sang this song in Chinese. God led us to salvation, led us through the ups and downs, and gave us comfort, light, and strength! I just came downstairs to do some ministry work, clicked on Facebook, and saw a notice that Celtic Worship had a new video. Now I've seen it...through tears. This was absolutely perfect. It's my favorite hymn, the one I lean on when times are rough...and I've leaned on it quite a bit since 2019. When your ministry is about encouraging one another, times like these can be overwhelming. I thank our Heavenly Father for each of you, for the talent He has given you, and for your desire and commitment to follow Him and encourage the rest of us. And thanks for adding the bagpipe. I'd never heard this hymn with it but always felt that's what it was missing. Love to you all...Chuck Graham

It's one of the most beautifully written songs I've ever heard. Today's Christian music is so far removed from this type of writing. I don't consider them comparable.

This was so amazing & exactly what I needed tonight. The Bible and my faith that God will lead us out of all the hate in the world has gotten me through .. and it’s really helped with my political campaign. I think if Moses was able to get through 40-years in the desert , its the least I can do .
I was reading psalm 34 and was thinking about this song & wanted to listen to it and this version was just so beautiful. The voices the music the instruments . Everything.
Just recall that even after 40 loyal years he disobeyed, and Joshua reluctantly was chosen to lead survivors to the Promised Land. Details matter friend... hope the campaign ended well :)

I listen to a lot of modern worship music, but I still come back to the hymns. This is one of my favorites, and my favorite version.
My mom made a picture frame with the old sheet music to this song and put vinyl on that said " Come thou font of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace" about a year after my grandpa died and it brought my grandma and I to tears. Love your accents in this version.

Paul recognized that it was all grace; grace in the beginning, grace in the middle, and grace at the end. We see this in his description of his new life in Christ Jesus. We see grace at the beginning of the verse, in the middle and at the end.

The God of Elijah, the several Judges, of Samuel and of King David and this kingdom of Israel and the son of David, Solomon who reigned with great wisdom. The God of the prophets, who foretold of the coming of Jesus Christ. The God of Jesus Christ, the son, through whom the hope of eternal life is granted and without whom that hope does not exist. The God of order, of peace, of Love - but also of justice for the afflicted and mercy for the weak. The One True God, who is Jesus Christ, through whom the apostles of Christ wrote and spoke through the teachings of Paul, Peter, John, James, Luke - the four Gospels. This is the only truth.
