Celtic Worship is a collective of some of Scotland’s most talented folk musicians who craft worship from a unique standpoint, blending traditional and contemporary Christian music with the sounds of their native roots. Initially coming together as a one-off band for an event in 2017, Celtic Worship have since become established trailblazers in the Celtic Christian sphere; revisiting old hymnal treasures and writing new Scottish ecclesiastical music marked by the sound of their cultural and historical context. The band is composed of musicians from many different backgrounds and styles, including Steph Macleod, Mhairi Marwick, Scott Wood, Gus Stirrat, Naomi Stirrat, Ifedade Thomas and Chris Amer. The amalgamation of these distinct musical personalities and range of genres crowned with the unifying love of God makes up the standout sound marked by fellowship revealed in Celtic Worship’s expression. Their mission is to combine their artistry as professional musicians with their deep love of Jesus and passion for sharing it through meaningful music. Celtic Worship have grown in the worship sphere far beyond their land, touring Scandinavia and reaching much of Europe with their rustic and complex sonority infused with the powerful sound of bagpipes, whistles, and fiddle.

My Scottish ancestors immigrated to America in the late 1600's. When I heard Celtic Worship for the first time this week I was in tears as this 68 year-old man worshipped God this morning and realized that his gifts are given to everyone who trusts in him. Praise Jesus!

"... prone to wander Lord I feel it..." smashes me every time. I've never once been able to sing this line without my voice failing and tears welling up
“Come Thou Fount”, growing up a pastor’s son and now 62 yo, I have heard this song many times, sung many ways, all were good and loved each one. But, man, it was as if when it was written, it had been waiting all these years for these awesome folk to sing it. Another great rendition of another great song. And the harmonies on “Because He Lives”, I believe this is what Heaven will sound like.
I am the only child-daughter age 61 of a Baptist Preacher. Amen to these old hymns being performed by The Celtic worship team!

My 6 month old grandson loves this song and other Celtic worship videos. He can finished his bottle of milk watching Celtic worship especially lead by Steph Macleod and would fall asleep.

My Great Grandfather moved from Cork to New Zealand over 1020 years ago. My heart bursts when I hear Celtic worship. I have been hammered with Australian and American sounds all my Christian life and somehow much of it leaves me empty. Thanks for keeping it simple and thanks for keeping it Celtic and traditional. Stay away from the laser shows and concert halls please. Bless you guys from NZ.

I'm Greek with not an ounce of Celtic blood in me, and even I love this group and the old hymns and the anointing on them as they sing. Fills my heart and soul. When recovering from heart surgery this group was playing on my playlist throughout while I was in hospital. It kept me in the frame of mind to praise God in all things! What a witness for Christ, they are!!

I have known this song my whole life, but the background echo of “held in loving arms” has me bawling almost every time I hear it. If you guys are looking for new material for music, look no further than an old hymn book. You do an amazing job with hymns and you sing the words as they are. "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls....". Jeremiah 6:16. The beauty of hymns is they contain the concepts and precepts contained in the words of God. Thank you for such amazing music. I will be buying your CDs.
