The pipes are tow cables. This thing broke down more then it actually was in combat. The floppy end needs to be pushed between the grey rods (it's not very secure)
Thanks, it’s a nightmare, I’ve just taken them off….
My only suggestion would be re. video quality improvement, is to read up a bit on the terms used when describing parts of the vehicle. For ex. this vehicle is a typical German tank destroyer. It doesn't have a turret but a casemate. The engine is not a typical Cobi engine, but a rendition of the famous Maybach HL230 used in Panthers, Jagdtpanthers, Tiger IIs, Jagdtigers. So you won't see it in other vehicles. The "pipes" are there to simulate tow cables. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback. I will certainly try and work on the terms.
It’s so weird, every single review about the Jadtiger talks about the unstable side skirts. My bad part are the tracks without a rough surface they can’t move.
I had this issue with the tracks, but I slightly tweaked the fixings and it seemed to work better.
I might try that but I think my Jaditger might break into a million pieces
Engines always a pain now to get out. why i keep mine out. Told you it would be fiddly in places. The jagd tiger tame to some set Hetzer and Strum Tiger. Can't wait to see more.
Yeah think I might do the same from now one. Those skirts man, needs more fixing points
@@CabbageFace_ i got some gorilla tac. It expensive but just a tiny amount and it will hold them in place. I used it on my jagd tiger plus got plastic plates hung on wall and they not dropped yet.
@@shaunholmes9900 yeah I really don’t like doing that to my sets - but might have to - and those bloody pipes!
@@CabbageFace_ Them bloody pipes i hid behind a big leaf so they don't dangle down. Camo falls off on a lot of mine.
One stud connections for the skirts are terrible, thats why I always use superglue. But in the end, Cobi should come with better solutions.
I can NOT put on the side skirts for the life of me
Glue is the only way. It’s sad
@@CabbageFace_ thanks for the hint
@@CabbageFace_ i appreciate it
My only complaints of this set are that the back doors don’t open with the engine cover on, next thing is that the sides of the upper turret don’t really secure well and are kinda popped out.
Yeah that is annoying. Shame
You most probably attached them wrong. If you build it right you can open them without taking off the engine cover.
I was playing war thunder and i was the jagdtiger and I saw a Sherman, it tried to kill me but I one shot it
Damn Shermans, was it a firefly?
@@CabbageFace_ it was a jumbo
@Kenny_mcCormick_killer RIP
Tru dat I don’t care about set numbers. Too bad about the loose skirts. Annoying that is
Question, are the minifigs buyable without buying the set they're in? I really like the hat of mr smeller. (dont wanna blow my budget just for a minifig in a set i dont really want)
Cobi do sell parts on there website, but can’t say I’ve seen this minifigure anywhere on there….try eBay or official Cobi Facebook group, someone might be selling fig
@@CabbageFace_ ah ok.
So the side skirts are still poorly attached, must remember the blu-tac when I get to this one. Back to the Elefant.
Yep it’s ashame
@@CabbageFace_ Then you might just be getting picky in your old age.
@@ba-gg6jo hey, less of the picky 😂
I think that Cobi should start to make Lego technic pieces. Large Lego Star Wars sets have Lego technic interiors and they are more stable.
Inclined to agree
you play war thunder cabbage????
I do….well I’ve just begun!
I just started playing the mobile version.
@@WilRiv5286 whats it like?
@@CabbageFace_ It's actually a lot more different than I expected. So far there's only tanks and ships. I am playing tanks, and one of the most noticeable things is there's no tech tree. It's all made up of groups of 4 tanks called platoons. Apparently you have to level up the platoon if you want to unlock all the vehicles in it. I thought it was going to be identical to WT on PC, but man was I wrong. It's pretty darn fun though!
@@WilRiv5286 hmmm interesting - I’ll have a look
