  • India is one of the largest agricultural producers in the world, and food security is a major concern for the country.
At present condition, the soil is degraded, unproductive, and hard on account of the use of excessive chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides in conventional farming. The farmers are not bothered by soil testing and applying fertilizers in the soil as per their wishes or the advice of the fertilizer merchants.
Soil testing facility is available in India at a cheaper rate but farmers do not use such facility and now complain that their soil becomes unproductive and dead. Who is responsible? Farmers are themselves responsible.
Organic farming and natural farming practices are gaining popularity as a sustainable solution to this problem. Natural farming is a similar approach that emphasizes using indigenous microorganisms and other natural inputs to improve soil health and crop yields.
Overall, organic and natural farming practices have the potential to revolutionize agriculture in India by providing a sustainable source of food for the growing population while also promoting environmental sustainability and improving the livelihoods of farmers.
Organic farming and natural farming practices have the potential to address the issue of food security in India. According to a report by the “Centre for Science and Environment”, organic and natural farming are agroecological practices that can help make Indian agriculture self-reliant.
Organic farming involves using natural inputs such as compost, manure, and crop rotation to maintain soil fertility and control pests and diseases. It promotes sustainable practices, reduces the carbon footprint, and guarantees food security.
Natural farming, on the other hand, is a way of chemical-free farming based on desi cows and locally available resources, with no chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It promotes traditional indigenous practices which give freedom to farmers from externally purchased inputs and is largely based on on-farm biomass recycling with major stress on biomass mulching, use of on-farm desi cow dung-urine formulation; managing pests through diversity, on-farm botanical concoctions and exclusion of all synthetic chemical inputs directly or indirectly.
In conclusion, organic and natural farming practices can help to address the issue of food security in India by promoting sustainable practices, reducing the carbon footprint, and guaranteeing food security. They can also help to improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers by providing them with an affordable and sustainable way to produce healthy, nutritious food.
Regenerative agriculture is another farming practice that focuses on restoring soil health, increasing biodiversity, and reducing carbon emissions by using techniques such as crop rotation, cover cropping, and reduced tillage. These practices can help improve soil health, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and increasing crop yields, thereby contributing to food security and sustainable agriculture.

Thanks for providing necessary information in public domain.
Sir where can we get organic seed and sampling because many places only hybrid seeds are sold.
