Not related to the club changes, but I'd love to try releasing the club the same way you do. The whipping action it looks so smooth and effortless. Can you do a video on it? Even a tiktok, would be interested to hear you talk through your feels and the way you deliver it

Loved this… I had a similar experience when I swapped from pings to Titleist last year.. went from 1’ upright to 2’ flat which was in effect 3’ flatter. The strike just became easier with zero swing changes.. hope it works for you 💥💥

There is some strange irony here, i went for a new fitting and they tested my existing clubs, i was using 3 degrees upright which was mad, how 1.5 degrees flat in my new irons, no more missing left and my distances are consistent.
Ping have been banging on about this for decades and it's really obvious information that's just been ignored. I've got long arms too and I know that my clubs are too upright for me but I never bothered getting them sorted because I'm too lazy.
i sort of knew it existed but i just didnt think it was this necessary ive got the same proportions to james and ive the got the exact same misses as him its crazy i always though my issues was technique but it might actually be equipment lolllll
Dude i game titleist t100 plus an inch longer and 2 degrees upright and my miss is ALWAYS left. My 7 iron has become my most hated club in bag. It feels like the toe is super upright at address and that whole dynamic messes with my take away and wrist angle.
@@rt33t39 bloody irritating! I'm 6ft6 so think American Golf just took one look at me and says yeah extra inch which means 2 degrees upright instead of doing a wrist to floor measurement. This isn't an exaggeration when I say that I think this miss left is one of the main reasons I haven't broken par yet. I play off 4.8 and miss at least 2 greens a round with an over draw with longer irons. I used to be able to hit a cut but I have to now get super steep and out to in to get even close to a neutral ball flight, never mind a fade.
@@scallywagturk same with me haha im 6ft but i remember in the past my wrist to floor got measured 2 upright at the time i didnt think much of it cause ive always belived equipment doesnt mean anything its all technique but i play off 6 handicap and my misses are exact same left going left i use to play a fade but thats only cause i would be ott now my swing is shallow and from the inside i cant stop hitting over hoooks and ive tried everything so it cant be technical im gonna go get a proper fitting and get my wrist to floor done again and see how it improves me cause after watching this video im excited

Why have you not done this years ago? Off-the-shelf clubs are jacked. Even drivers. I play 4 degree flat. Patrick Reed plays 5.5 degrees flat!

33" blimey, I'm the opposite. 6ft1 with 36.5" - my clubs were never upright enough so got toe sticking in the ground too much
If you flatten them, strangely the toe will gradually flatten out.

get your wrist to floor measured as soon as possible your probably needing to play flatter same problems happening to me gonna get mine checked soon
