If they did that, that’d be a huuuge box set. Assuming, for the sake of an example, there are gonna be 5 seasons, each 11 episodes, just like season 2, and also assuming they don’t compress more episodes onto each disc, and not include the ost, that would be a box set of 18 discs! That would probably be too much to package, and it would be expensive… so, as much as I think that would be nice, I doubt it would happen
But yea, honestly if you want these LE sets, I’d get them sooner than later. I scored and got S1 for pretty cheap from eBay, but the cheapest you’ll find S2 is Rightstuf. And as much as I’m disappointed with the size difference, everything else about the sets is trumping that, making them totally worth it IMO. Hopefully they’ll go back to BluRay size in the future

Thanks for the review and video! I'm really upset with the inconsistency. I just have season 1 limited edition right now, but I may not be buying the rest of the limited edition sets going forward. These sets are very expensive (which I don't mind paying if they are done correctly) and for all of them to differ from each other so drastically is really disappointing and it's gonna irritate me for them not to be the same size.

Japanese sets usually release way before English sets to it’s likely sold out by now. I usually buy from amiami. But you can also. Find on CDJapan. You might be able to find it on Buyee. But I did check and the Japanese set is very expensive

Does it actually come with all of the music, as well as sound effects? It’s cool that it comes with sound effects, but I just care about the music haha Thanks!
I kinda found the English version cover disappointing in comparison to the Japanese version. I’m trying to collect the Hashiras solo and the Japanese cover matches the Mugen Train set more instead of this English one

Oh, I get the size discrepancy: S1 came in Blu-ray-sized cases, but S2 came with DVD-sized cases. I'll still buy these once I get rich enough to afford them without purchases taking dents in my bank account, since they're so much saucier than the Crunchyroll reissues.
I think I'll be sticking with the standard releases for now because I KNOW when the full series is completed that there will probably be some epic collection like there was for Yu Yu Hakusho on Blu Ray or for the Dragon Ball Super Steelbook set. No way Demon Slayer won't get something glorious when it is all finished so for now I'll stick with the standard Blu Rays. Hell...it might even be a 4K set with the entire series upscaled like they do for the special theatrical screenings.
@@creategreatness8823 I'm still going forward with the Aniplex releases since they have on-disc special features (VAs' commentaries, creditless MVs, trailers). Plus the pack-in bonuses.
Is your copy of the Mugen Train Arc limited edition the same height as the Limited Edition of Entertainment district? My copy of Entertainment district is slightly taller then even Mugen Train Arc, so the box sets are all different sizes. Bluray size for season 1 part one and two, one size for Mugen Train, and another for Entertainment district.
Fate release is consistent at least between the movies being larger cases and the anime series being the standard blu-ray size. But with demon slayer they are all over the place 😂
