I picked up this exact model, $185 from Walmart. seasoned it with 6 thin coats of grapeseed oil, 15-min burnoff each.
First cook was some Chinese sausage and game-changing smashburgers with sauteed onions. gonna smash onto diced onions next time. mayo on the rolls to brown them!

We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press. This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.

I watch videos a lot when I need a real review of a product I am considering buying and I have to say yours is exceptional. You go over every part and tells the pros and cons and that's what i was looking for. Thanks for taking the time to inform me about this grill. I have been considering many options as far as what to purchase. My decision to purchase this grill was for this reason. I don't care how much you pay for a grill, be it $1500.00 0r $300.00 they start rusting from the day you buy them even if you have a nice cancas cover. I think I will be able to break this down or move the entire grill into my garage which will prolong it's life. Also It may be possible to transport it for camping or a cookout remotely. Definately going to purchase it For $188.00 at Walmart you can't go wrong.

I got mine the other day and am loving it. We found one that had a damaged box so we only paid 100.00 for it. Once set up the legs seem solid, no wobbling.

You can just turn it around and the hose is on the opposite side of the shelf. As long as you don’t care that then blackstone logo is on the back then it’s a fine solution.

I got this same one last weekend and I love it. The 17 inch version is supposed to fit on this stand and that is what the other set of holes are for on the stand. I wish the legs were more stable at full height. I just shortened them a bit and checked the level. I can’t wait to spend the summer trying different things on this griddle

If you registered your unit, you can purchase another shelf cheaply from blackstone. Those big holes in the legs are not for using. These units dont really have to be perfectly level, just eyeball it. And yes, i have had mine since before covid. Warning, this little unit really puts out some heat. Rarely use it near high heat levels. Got mine for 145.00 at wal mart. So keep your eyes out for end cap sales.

It’s decent. It just uses screws to pinch the inner leg. There are holes to secure the leg, but that doesn’t always make the surface level correctly. I’ve never had a leg collapse or fail, but it does feel a little unstable. Opportunity for improvement.
