What I like about LinDan and ChenLong is that they regulate the rhythm of the game and control the ball. Chinese Single Men are now a bit backwards, not as great as they are.

The difference here is, Lin dan is playing almost every shuttle on the line thereby making Tian move to the corners all the time, whereas Tian is lacking that control and is mostly ending up hitting it much inside, hence he's not able to make Lin dan move.
Also, Lin dan is anticipating well and Tian is afraid of anticipating. Tian is just respecting Lin Dan too much here, I feel he must've gone ahead with all he had (This would've given him more chance of winning), believing in himself.
