- This showcase video shows only all empty reload animations of all weapons currently available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (2020).
1:30 AY, they actually got it right!
Far Cry 5 actually got the reload for that weapon right before this. And so far, these are the only two games I can think of that do the reload correctly

You did not see it correctly, the FAL has a ak style mag release which gives it the ability to do a tactical ak reload

Beenox did a lot of good things in MW2R, good detail on the weapons, correct reloads for the shotguns, and just overall a nice job at doing it. People complain to complain and it’s funny lol

The animations don’t seem as detailed as MW19, but it’s the sound that really sells it for me. Everything sounds crisp and it just makes every movement in the animation land with so much more impact.
Literally got this game yesterday, installed it and beat it on Veteran. Literal hell but loved it. Took about 7 - 8 hours while finding some intel (around 8-9). Good game with good little me memories.
Was SpecOps fun? I found this game for US$ 20 but multiplayer isnt playable cuz the hackers. So I only have Campaign and Spec ops
@@newton4010 Unfortunately this release for MW2 did not come with SpecOps nor Multiplayer. This remastered release was more so for the campaign and makes sense why only the campaign since MW2022 was being worked on I think. Regardless a great old gem with a amazing campaign and great if your also and about achievement hunting.

I just can't expressed how much do I like these remastered ones over the new ones, like those on MW or Black Ops Cold War... They just seem too quick and forceful for me...
The UMP45's reload on this game looks like shit compared to the original's reload.

The AA-12 has a recycled sound effect from bo2, in particular the one that sounds while reloading an AR
Favorite reload is still the F2000, with the SPAS-12 being a very close second. The amount of weapon inaccuracies the remaster fixed made me very happy.
How could they release this game without multi-player or spec ops, are they insane!?

Because MW19 was released in November and this was March 2020 so they dont want to split the player count

Probably this game isn't as detailed as MW 2019, but you have to say, the looks of the guns are stunning. And the campaign is also nostalgic.

William Larned well it had a custom rail system, so the grip is optional

Fun fact: my uncle bought the original MW2 when it was released 11/10/09 for his Xbox 360 and when I found it a few weeks ago he gave it to me and on the first day he gave it to me I inserted it into my Xbox one and played the whole campaign on hardened but unfortunately when I tried playing multiplayer there were no player online

Is it just me or does the remaster look like the original like nothing has changed? Like the Modern warfare remaster looked miles different from the one from 2007 but this looks the same as the 2009 version
Dewannabe the lighting is fairly comparable only the textures and models are improved. Especially the weapon proportions, such as the M16A4's stock isn't an isosceles triangle form, the properly textured right side of many guns, and updated reload animations.

I really don't like how some recent games have this annoying thing with reflective surfaces that for some reason "reflect" player's viewmodels. I've seen it in Far Cry 5, and I see it here, and I'm sure this is also an issue in some other games.
I heard someone say it's an issue with the way screenspace reflections get rendered.
In this case cubemaps would be better, baked or procedural. Using screenspace is not perfect and devs are really dumb if they use it on guns or dynamic objects.
Idk why cod games make the akimbo guns just as quick to reload if you just had one gun.
I want MW2R Multiplayer
The M240 reload doesn't make any sense. There is no box attachment underneath like the SAW, because M240 brass spits out the bottom of the gun. Also you do not "charge" the weapon twice, you just need to pull the bolt to the rear on a empty reload and slide the charging handle up. Sliding the handle up shouldn't make a noise because all you're moving is the handle itself, not any internal part of the weapon since the bolt is already to the rear. If a reload is done with bullets remaining on the link, charging the weapon is also not required, since the bolt is already to the rear. It's only required if the bolt is forward, which only happens if the last round on the link is fired.
