I bought a brand new '93 Probe GT, and still have fond memories. This seems like the perfect car for electro-modding. Reasonable large, but light, relatively simple configuration. Plus it has a timeless beauty to it, hindered only by its lack of V8 power, fixed with a powerful electric motor. And, perhaps most importantly, used Probes (when you can find them) are dirt cheap, particularly if you don't need the engine working since you are going to replace it with an electric motor (I've seen them below $1k).

My 89 PGT waster faster but dam the 93 was beautiful. Remember the first 93 PGT that arrived on our dealer lot. It was a silver auto loaded. This car was a joy to drive. They should of installed the 3.0 DOHC from the Taurus. It would have been a Mustang-killer.
It has 164hp turbocharged v6. technically the components of the car were shared with the Mazda MX-6, and the second generation was actually 60:40 engineered by Mazda. Stock transmission is kinda suck tho.
@@prebens7955 this gen probe never had a factory turbocharger. the 2.5 v6 used in the USDM was 164hp, the JDM version of the engine was around 190 or so. but none were turbo from the factory. the first gen gt came turbocharged

This car is Tesla approved. The hoods are almost the same. The shape of the Tesla car so seems like a updated Ford probe GT.. of Ford was to continue the car it would have looked like a Tesla.

Hi! Bei mir es ist alles in Ordnung. Ich habe KW Gewindefahrwerk V3 eingebaut. Original Stoßdämpfer ist deutlich größer.
