I ordered this soap and love the scent. but i have one slight problem with it. i think that there may be something in it that im allergic to, my skin gets slightly tingley and warm. is there anything that is in this soap in particular that your other soaps don't have? i also have grecian horse, sparticus, Vetiver Magnifique, and kaizen. and i dont have the same reaction. let me just be clear that the soap performs and smells fantastic, i just personally can't use it as often as id like.
Doug Bear The Vette doesn’t mess around, that’s for sure! This soap base is excellent and definitely helped provide everything one could ask for in a shave. Really enjoyed it!
Am I the only person on the planet who spends only 10-15 seconds working up a lather from the puck? It’s usually more than enough, especially with A&E. 10-20 swirls then right to the face. I feel like you get many more shaves this way
I had my first shave with this soap. First one with a&e in general. My conclusion. Damn slick soap. Creamy.. Not very thick. And not to thirsty. But as always after 5 or so shaves u get the full impression of the soap. I go for a dryer lather and it acted really dry but wasn't very much so. Not sure how much water it can hold but I don't think it would hold a whole lot. I used a Yaqi badger 24mm didn't wring it out just shook out bulk water and did a medium/lightish load. Paa is way more thirsty but slickness and creaminess goes to this soap. This was my first shave( tonight was)
Hi Ross, nice shave. Straights are a different beast, good job with no big issues. A&E is really a good product, seems all the artisans are tweaking their formulas across the spectrum. I for one am glad to see these artisans experimenting like scientists to get the best out of their soaps, better for our skin and shaves for sure. I have a few aftershave splashes that come out milky like this one, they all feel silky and smooth. Great video and review again. Enjoy!
Thank you! It is like a movement right now with artisans coming up with new bases. It certainly is to all of our benefit! Thanks for the continued support :)
Nice shave Ross! I think the soap could have taken twice as much water. 😝 Sounds like your razor was having a workout on that dense AF beard of yours. Let me know if you need a bit more edge. 😉
Hi Ross, Thank you for shaving with our soap. Great shave!!! Next time, just stick brush under faucet 😂😂😂. It is indeed thirsty
Thank you, Peter. Your products are fantastic! I'm only ashamed I'm so late to the game!

That Vett was screamin on that 1st pass. I thought I saw smoke. 😁 Thank goodness for a keen edge and great soap.

You need a bucket of water for that brush load lol Love Peter's products!
She Shaves with Jill It is by far one of the thirstiest soaps out there! It may be impossible to over hydrate this soap base lol. Thanks, Jill!

Got a chance to smell this at the release party in NYC. I picked up Choco Cubano that day; this one’s on my list to buy.
That feedback!
You're not lying, my friend! These full hollow razors sing! They're a it intimidating for me, to be honest!
