    video suggestion: i think it would be super cool to have a bang for buck jeep build. or at least hypothetical jeep build. exploring all the aftermarket parts out there. for the 1 guy, 1 income budget builds. really what im looking for is a rock crawling capable but fast jeep. drives straight on the road, little floating. does that even exist? hahaha. what does a guy gotta do to achieve that jeep?
    currently i am looking to buy either a low mileage jk, or a brand new jl. i am stuck on the transmission. the jk manual transmission, from what i can gather online, seems clunky and. not very fun on the road or race car ish. but people seem very happy with the jl. so for that very reason. i am leaning towards forking out, financing an extra $8000 just for a jl. because of the transmission.
    not so stoked about that, as the $8000 could go towards parts. definitely will be adding a supercharger or engine swap within the jeeps life. being honest probably 5 years down the road. would love to hear your thoughts, the path you would take, with bang for buck in mind. thanks for your time and wisdom:)

    Getting ready to buy some fenders for my JK. Definitely considering these. Would love to see them without the sliders to see how that looks. I already have a set of Poison Spyder sliders. Wondering if I would want to get away from those.

    is there any drawback to the 9-inch route on the jku? You mentioned weight as compared to a traditional 60 as a driving point. I have been looking at the Dynatrac 60/60 set up, but your axle set up has intrigued me. Is there any kit or "bolt in" options for the 9 inch similar to the numerous d60 ones?

      Currie Extreme 60 has a load bolt to take care of any gear deflection and is high pinion. The 9 inch is 100 pounds lighter but is low pinion. You loose about 2 inches of clearance on the yoke.

      Casey Currie you could run a hi9 front and rear could you not?

      I was going to ask about the hi9 also. Wouldn’t it be a good choice at least for the front?

    • @CaseyCurrie
      @CaseyCurrie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely!! More ground clearance but it does add a good amount of money. We have that option ready to go!

    What’s the difference between the CRC bumpers vs the savvy bumpers you guys run on like the 2 door magpul jk?

    • @CaseyCurrie
      @CaseyCurrie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Savvy Bumpers you have to cut the end of the frame. My CRC bumper is bolt on.

    9 in axle vs currie 70... which one is better for high speed off roading and very strong for the dune...... for example prerunning

    5:07 I didn't see any skid plate under transmission. But yet he says he has artec transmission skid plate. Huh?

    • @CaseyCurrie
      @CaseyCurrie  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it runs the full aluminum skid plate from artec and it’s awesome.
