Science doesn't support that and I think people are starting to shift to 2-3 and feeling much better because of it! :)
I need a journal since I only eat 2 times a day and I need to make sure I am eating the right foods so the journal will help me see what I am lacking or over doing.

Journaling helps me in all areas of life and many articles on intuitive come from an ED perspective, and advocate not tracking at all, which is not relevant for me. I can weigh myself frequently and journal about food without being triggered. But I have decided no more calorie or even portion tracking as I had done WW for years. But I do want to be aware if my veggie portions are declining or I’m reaching for sugar too frequently and what feelings led to that (fatigue, stress, etc). Journaling is a key activity for me and my wellness journal isn’t focused just on food - mood, walking, therapy notes etc.
Thanks for watching, so glad this video was help for you. Yes I don't advocate calorie counting, weighing yourself, etc for anyone (ED or not). Its a slippery slope. When you focus your food journal on the eating experience it gives much more useful insight and its key not to get in a habit of chronic food journaling as it can become obsessive.

Unfortunately this past year we encounters printing and production issues are had to discontinue all of our inserts. Hi Daniela! Tracking food symptoms can be tricky. For some the symptoms are immediate or within hours or a day. While others can see symptoms 3+ days later. It can be very hard to nail down what is causing symptoms bc of this. I think the best route is to track food, track symptoms and do that for at least 30 days and see once you have enough data if you can find a correlation.
