    My first bag I made was with this method but used a rivet instead of a stitch line on the handle to match the rivet in the... bag piece? Any way love the idea of hiding the second D ring for the cross body strap

    Also looking for this reinforcement tape. Currently working on a bag, this would be nice to have? When I search almost everything that comes up has to do with Velcro strips. A link to the material you’re using would be nice

      I tried Weaver, even asked their customer service team, and they don't carry it. A link to where we can get the nylon backing would be very helpful.

      @@kensmith9950 I think I may have found the producer (or A producer of similar material) called Articoli per Calzature. They call the material Startex, it's or the bag and shoe-making industry. I just emailed them for samples so I'll update when I get them!

      I’m the last video it was said that it will be early next year once the Corter Pounder has been finalised. The idea being that the awl, knife and hammer are all released together.

    I glued a piece of leather on my 1 prong punch. To use a strop for 8mm French edger. Cause it’s like perfect fit.

    Good day, I’ve always heard those rectangle hardware called “rigging dee’s” although generally rigging dees are complete squares. Hope that helps.

      Squares are not Dees though. Dees have a rounded side in the shape of a "D".

    As a cobbler I can definitely say always double glue your leather, the first application normally gets drunk up by the leather.

    I would be inclined to put four rectangular loops and four D rings. the D rings can be attach points for keys, pepper spray, decrotive fobs, etc..

    I was gonna say, I’ve always heard them called “(rectangle) loop sliders” or “loop rings” 🤗 but yeah, that’s how I search for them on hardware sites, as “loop”

    When you bent the handle will the creases form on the inner side of the handle? I see some bags with creeses on inner side of the handles and some without. Are creases normal? But they don't always exist. what it depends on leather? or something else.

    How do u handle with OCDs? as crafters often have OCDs of making every little things perfect. Cuts, edges, cures, skives. Small imperfections often kill me and stop me from finishing my projects.

    Serbian word for all rings is ALKA so for all rings you just say D ALKA or SQUARE ALKA. :D btw, you inspired me to start leatherworking!
