Total respect for these dudes. Their power is incredible. I'm a little dude so I appreciate more "small ball" vs 5 dudes straight hitting home runs. But man I have immense respect and wish I could do that on a whim...

Played in this tournament about 30 years ago and we scored 60 runs and got run ruled.. I recall the other team hitting 13 HR’s in a row at one point... crazy stuff..

I agree man I’m not sure why slowpitch softball is so much more popular for grown men. I play slowpitch and it was mostly because I couldn’t find much interest from my friends to play baseball. Most everyone gets fat and slow and doesn’t want to hit difficult pitching and wants to try to hit dingers. It’s still a really good time but my favorite part of baseball was stealing bases and hustle is almost looked down upon. Taking away what I’m good at man!
@Chuck Chavez I don’t blame guys for playing slow pitch - it’s a much better game for adults ..much much easier to hit the ball and no wear and tear on your shoulders(from pitching)

The bats are hot, the balls are hot but not everyone is on steroids. I played around thirty years and most people I knew worked at their game. We worked out, took a ton of B.p. took care of ourselves. But it's fair to say there is steriods in the game. Imho the game was way better in 90's and 2000's. I loved going to the Smokies and watching Ritches, Bell Corp, Shen Valley just to name a few. I miss those days!!!! Btw.... I hate this auto correct lmbo

The umpires say hit and sit on Homeruns, to keep the games going and keep the tournament on schedule! Games usually have time limits

I get these are highlights, but with the scores being 25+ and so many HR’s have they considered using softer balls to bring more fielding into the game? I get these are the best of the best so HR’s will still be hit but it seems like so much.
this tournament here, its an Unlimited HR tournament, this is the only 1 like this in the conference, so they swing away and tend to put on a show!!

I played slow pitch softball for 20 years back in the 80s and 90s. Since when do you hit a homerun and just walk off? No circling of the pads? Who came up with that ridiculous rule.?? My my, how things change?
Sir, its to speed up the game, the game times run for so long when both teams are able to have unlimited HRs
When I played softball 100 years ago , we used wood bats and played on 400 ft fields. We had to run the bases twice backwards after hitting a bomb It’s ridiculous to only run the bases once. Who came up with that stupid rule for the 80s and 90s where you only had to run the bases once. You guys were just plain lazy. Ohhhhh, that’s right. Sometimes the rules change. What you think might be ridiculous others think is a good idea.
