I'm 39 now. I was in 8th grade when this song came out. Tim wasn't super famous yet and back then performed at small town high schools which is how I saw him. To this day this song is pound for pound one of my favorites

This song is good for a truck driver's lover and/or family who goes on the road with him/her. 🙂 My mom and I would go with my dad on the road during the summer when I was a kid, and this song reminds me of the good times we shared together. ❤️
I love this song and it hits very close to home for me because I have these feelings, visions and memories of "that girl" often. Wait a minute...I MARRIED that girl and she's put up with me for 32 years! I'm an owner operator truck driver and when I'm in the wind, I do see, hear and feel my beautiful wife EVERYWHERE!

I'm 53, I still think of him often. Pretty sure my time has past to find the love of my life. I was the one who left. I took him everywhere in this country.
I'm about to be 50 myself here in a few weeks and I can't say if the love of your life has passed you by I know they have three children that are the love of my life my grandmother died in 2019 at 91 she's the love of my life so was my mother who still alive I could go down a list of hard brakes but what I find is that I don't want to live the rest of remainder the remainder I don't want to live the remainder of my life searching for the love of my life I want to love those including myself I hope you do find a love you a lot you got to start by looking in the mirror and loving yourself

I miss that so much. Im not looking, I just hope one day it might happen. We are never promised more time on earth, I know this very well. I have SLE llupus and 2 blood clots in my lung as of 4 months ago. Life is precious. I live it as much as I can everyday.

This song and many of his other songs made in the 90s makes me miss when I was growing up. We used to jump in the car and go riding all day down dirt roads listening to these songs. Went swimming in the river listening to these songs blasting from the speakers in our camaro. Time seemed to stop when we were doing those fun things listening to this music. I miss all of it.
