- This Caramelized Corn Drink Originates from the Ga Tribe of Ghana and since we are in our Festive Season I thought I’d share a little bit of my Culture with my Sweets🥰Please Enjoy
Ingredients:
2cups - Crushed Germinated Corn
6qt - Waster or more if needed
Sugar - tt
Salt - tt
tt means ToTaste or To Your Taste

Yes correct i am a Togolese and this is an ewe drink. Not originated from ghana or Ga. it’s called Liha.❤️❤️ we have the second one called Chukutoo from the northern part of Togo.🇹🇬

I started the process and am on day three of leaving corn to germinate and only a few has sprouted. The video made me checked and I realised it is soaked in water so I have dried and covered enough so I can germinate quickly. Will definitely share a picture on here once it’s all done

Sweet Adjeley I made it . I didn’t dry it enough and so wasn’t very dark. It’s a bit bitter so was thinking the sugar burnt and I did it again and it tastes nice. It’s being ages I had so I can’t even remember the taste 😩😩😩😩 don’t know if I nailed it or not

Asaana on fleek.... This drink eh.. I so so loved it, prepared right in front of our house. Growing up as a kid our area is full of different ethnic people and i got to enjoy so many traditional cultural food. You know back then every home is everyone's home and one family have a family meeting almost every week or so and asaana is what they make to serve everyone and we got to enjoy it too.
