Paul Washer has been an incredible blessing to me in my walk with the Lord and this message in particular is one that I return to again and again because I need to be reminded of this truth constantly.
@Christos can you offer advice? I'm backsliding bad and have lost my identity in Christ. I often question salvation. Trying to restore fellowship and have joy in the Lord. And be cleansed.
@@JRballer2377 stop beating yourself up, JESUS wants brokeness because of your sin, but the point where you dwell upon your sin more than the GRACE OF GOD is not where you should go, I spend months backsliding, back into this sin, and everytime I wanted to deal with it the same way, beating myself up, thinking subconsciously that by beating myself up, maybe GOD will find it a little more easy to forgive me, I have done many many many evil things in my past, and I kept reminding myself of them, but remember this, JESUS IS DONE COUNTING YOUR SIN, on the cross, JESUS SAID "IT IS FINISHED" it means your debt has been PAID IN FULL, even before you were born GOD saw the grand total of the debt of your sin and sent JESUS TO PAY FOR IT ALL, BELIEVE THAT!!! JESUS died so that even though we are undeserving of forgivness and eternal life, GOD can, becasue all of our sin was cast on JESUS and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS was cast on US, HE NO LONGER SEES YOU AS A SINNER, instead you are a CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD, HALLELUJAH!! you have sinned, yes, but you have accepted JESUS AS YOU SAVIOR, the one who stood in, in our place to take our sin, the fact is we are all sinners, but the TRUTH that weighs eternally above that fact is, JESUS TOOK IT FOR YOU, HE remember your sin no more, and is inteerceding for YOU, now tell me, it the ONLY ONE who can judge you, has FORGIVEN YOU, who then condemns you? NO ONE, realize this amazing TRUTH, JESUS HAS COME TO GIVE US LIFE, AND GIVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY, HIW WORD TELLS US SO. so stop letting the enemy steal from you, you are not powerless, GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT HAS COME TO LIVE IN YOU, YOU ARE FAR FROM POWERLESS, say this "enemy you have NO MORE POWER, JESUS has defeated the power of sin and death on the cross, and HIS HOLY SPIRIT IS INDEED WORKING IN ME TO REMOVE ME DAY BY DAY FROM SIN." you aren't looking for perfection, your looking to be more like CHRIST everyday, continue to spend time with GOD, and focus more on a relationship, rather than tasks or assignments, JESUS died so that you can love HIM, focus more on turning towards JESUS rather than way from sin, becasue you can hold on to JESUS, without letting go of a sinful lifestyle, the very fact that you want to live a different life shows that GOD is working in you, remember how far GOD has already taken you, and remember ❗️"being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6❗️ hold onto the HOPE that we WILL SEE OUR SAVIOR FACE TO FACE, some day we will be taken to live with our FATHER FOREVER, not by our own works, but by the work already finished by JESUS, GLORY TO GOD, ❗️"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4❗️, hold on, and remember "GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN ME THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD" 1 John 4:4, hold on, but more importantly, know that you are helb by GOD OUR FATHER, WE'RE PROUD TO CALL YAHWEH OUR FATHER!!! :) GOD BLESS, JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE
But Washer is a Calvinist, so he should really say "God is faithful to forgive sin in the" *elect*. That puts a very different perspective on God's decision to create the others to begin with.

You don’t know who the elect are, so its really still open to you. He will forgive.
