I love that you mention being ready, and qualified it not to mean buying water and supplies, but ready in mindset and being active in eternal things - ready for his coming.
Well, ready in strength to persevere, to take the beatings and stonings and mocking amd imprisonment amd death, secure in eternal salvation, as Paul was secure in these things. I hope I'm ready by the time it comes. So far, I haven't matured past the "...sell your coat and buy a sword..." phase.
WHY not prepare yourself in Christ chiefly, and do as Noah and brother Joseph did??? To help others. It's not unfaithful. It's expected in scripture. Unless you believe in a quick exit out soon. Blessing in Christ.
What can i do in this situation. My wife is divorcing me, for no biblical reason, and I we are fighting in the process for time with children. I’m trying to spend as much time with my kids and teach them about the Bible/God/Jesus. My issue is that I can’t send them to private school and afford a place of my own (even renting) and take care of them (because of CS and other family related bills like medical and daycare). What I believe is best is to fight for time with them and to facilitate getting a place of my own to best take care of them. Then focus on a better school environment for them. They are 4 so there is time, but it feels like a crisis and I don’t want them to be jaded towards God early on. Any advice is appreciated.
I am a former Catholic. I'm still seeking my church home, but I have seen the light as far as Catholicism is concerned. In my short time outside of Catholicism, I have seen exactly what Paul is talking about here. In fact, I even saw it as a Catholic. What is really jarring to me is just how quickly things are deteriorating. They have already got the children. We have five year old children, with their nutty parents's blessing going through gender transitioning. We have gone from two genders to more genders than one can count on one hand. The LGBTQIA2+ community has so many letters in its name, they are using numbers and symbols. That community hates Christians with a hot white passion. We have public schools with "Satanic After School Clubs". The United Methodist Church is splitting, as many of it's Churches have drag queens conducting services and invoking God as, "Oh Queer One"!! All this is okay with way, way too many people. God, forgive us for letting this happen. May He protect us and help us to persevere.
2 Thes.2:3."Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."

@Andrew Restrepo We don't rejoice at the persecution our brothers face, but we can take comfort in it when our own comes. We've had a pretty good run in America, being a more or less Christian valued nation, but the ride our forefathers set up has come to an end and we haven't done enough to keep it. It will be worse for our kids.
Didn't God say in the OT that he hated complaining and "murmuring"? Christians acting like this is persecution just want to be persecuted. You aren't persecuted. You're merely inconvenienced and people don't have to listen to you folks scream at them. Silly self delusion.

Right-On
Pauls words were said 2008. We are watching them come true today.
Our suffering will not be noble.
PAUL WASHER is a great man of God.
There are no great men of God, there are just weak, little, needy men who trust in Christ alone.
PAUL WASHER is a man of a great GOD.
Amen!
Exactly
I don't think anyone wants to talk about this!!!:However, It probably come to this!!
lol the end clip
It ruined the heartfelt message, a bit.
Paul Washer said this is 2008. Your perspective is off because your information is wrong.
What is off about his perspective?
Washer is not a good guy....he is a wolf.
Why do you think that of him? Just curious. I'm not too familiar with him.

@@fightingwithtruth1698 He most certainly does not.
Well, while your comment, about Pasher, not being a good guy is true, he is definitely not a wolf. He's a true man of God.
I bet you pray every night that you could be like Paul washer ( envy is a sin ) read your Bible !
Don't hate on the truth bro. Let's see how you face persecution when it comes.
