RPM was so underrated. That and Time Force were the most adult power ranger shows made.
Miss Priss never seen RPM. Time force was dark for power rangers but if you watch their Japanese counter part. It doesn’t come close to how dark Japanese Dino thunder went (also known as abarangers)

Sukant Kumar No they’re not. They’re of Saban Brands. Yes, when Disney owned Power Rangers it aired on a Disney-branded channel, but Nickelodeon just airs Power Rangers, which just started its first season owned by Hasbro

One saddest moment was when the actor who plays Colel in Power Rangers Wild Force killed his room mate and then got sentence in prison for manslaughter, i began Crying when i heared that as i grew up loving Power Rangers especially Wild Force and when i found out that he got put in prison i was gutted. 15 now and it still upsets me to this day, what about u guys
If he was put away for manslaughter, he will eventually get out. Whether or not he is blacklisted afterwards is an entirely different debate.

Damn! Looking back at these moments is not making me cry out of Nostalgia, but that Power Rangers went through lengths to make these Sad moments hit us hard to make it Power Rangers more than just a Kid's show.

Every time i see a modern day power rangers show, I can tell there is no effort put into them at all, every time I rewatch the old seasons I am proud to be a power rangers fan!

1) How many seasons and versions of Power Rangers there are that you missed;
2) How cheesy the voice acting actually was that you can't take it seriously.

The Wild Force really got me when I was a kid, it was my favorite Power Ranger and SPD.

Wild Force was my first Power Rangers. I teared up during the ending especially when they're taking off their vests. Good byes are the saddest things.
I loved how dark the stories became since Power Rancers In Space, they stoped with the goofy villains for a while and gave them tragic back stories and made them even relateble. Master Org story is probably my favourite and the ending of Time Force was perfect.
Master Org is honestly one of the darkest power rangers villains in the franchise
Then from power rangers mega force and on words the show is happy fun and no trama

Time Force was really for a kids show back then. Especially, when they dove into Frax’s backstory
Yeah in Space was suppose to wrap up Power Rangers at least the Zordon era, but it was the best, thanks to the psycho rangers arc. For me it’s a tie between Dino Thunder, and Galaxy for 2nd, and MMP is a solid third
Time Force had the best villain, IMO. Ransik was a well-written and complex character. AND Vernon Wells is a great actor. Such a score for a RP series.

Jack was honestly the best red ranger as leader and as a friend seeing what he did for sky

I remember it was a scene from Time Force and every ranger cried Wes because they taught he died from the explosion with Ransik. Still gives me chills.

@@KRAYZ31619 I think they are talking about the final battle, where Wes used his battlizer. Ransik drags Wes down and there is a huge explosion, then there is a shot with the other four Rangers, and they all yell out "Wes"!

Tommy’s Green Ranger powers running out should’ve been WAY HIGHER. For many of us old school MMPR fans, the original 6 (and yes the Green Ranger counts as an original member) the Green Ranger storyline was one of the best, and Tommy was an integral member of the team
Yeah, I'm forced to agree with that. After all the effort they went to freeing Tommy from Rita's control and then to have him get fucked over like that was a stab at the fans hearts at the time.

Shanoske true, I suspect that the intention was to kinda soften the blow to the younger kids that were watching the show at the time who might not understand what cancer was or something, but then again killing a character off isn't really helpful in explaining that topic

Hell we also had the tears of Phoenix down in both Lost Galaxy and at the end of In Space.

If anything else,it generated all kinds of sympathy for Tommy from the whole team, but even more so from Katherine, considering that she and Tommy got together shortly afterwards

HOLD UP!!!!! Okay I'll admit time force ending was a tear jerker. But nobody is gonnna mention turbo's ending with zordon kidnapped, the base and zords being completely wrecked, the red smart car being wrecked (i loved that car). I can understand if you wanna chalk it up as a dark ending list or the bad guys win list. But at least honorable mention damn it.

One of the saddest for me was Andrews’ death. He was such an integral character to Summer’s shift in personality, and he’s just gone like that.
You're right about Andrews' death my friend he helped shape Summer's personality from a spoiled rich girl into a strong, caring, and mature young woman and there are two moments from Wild Force that deserved honorable mentions the death of Toxica and The Battle Of Animarium
Overally... Time Force, RPM and In Space are the saddest and most tragic seasons of Power Rangers.

Time force will have the saddest moments and be #1 always. Mr collins being proud of wes for being a man and choosing his own paths, eric almost dying, wes sending his team back to the future so they can live their lives again, the fact katie was the most physically strong member and tried breaking the glass of the ship but couldn't, seeing wes and the rangers say goodbye, wes and jen telling eachother their feelings

Dr. K trying to escape alphabet Soup with Gem and Gemma she wasn't trying to unleash venjix to the world.
It wasn't her fault but it was. It's hard to describe. She did a bad thing (creating Venjix) but had good intention (wanted to go outside) and she made sure yhat nobody would get hurt (created firewall) but this backfired on her (Alpabet Soup agents didn't let her install a firewall so Venjix went out). It's not like she's responsible for all those deaths but her hands aren't exactly clean, same goes for the Alphabet Soup. At least she atone for this, while Alphabet Soup agents didn't.

Watching this brought back a lot of memories for me as I remember watching the original Power Rangers when it first premiered in 1993 when I was 4 turning 5. :)
Very good times coming home from school to watch Power Rangers on Fox Kids before they moved them to the weekends.
Numbers 7 and 3 are my favorites. R.I.P. Magna Defender and Zordon.

It’s the darkest season for power rangers. However if you watch their Japanese counter part (where power rangers actually originate from)- Dino thunder (abarangers) was by far the darkest.

The old rangers were better, especially with Tommy he’s one of my ultimate mentors
I was devestated when the Thunderzords were brutally destroyed, falling apart piece by piece. I had those toys, so seeing my toys ripped apart and watching the rangers lose so dramatically was near traumatizing as a kid.

Other moments might be:Thunderzords, Tigerzord and Wild Zords destroyed, Captain Mitchell's deal with Diabolico, Command Center explodes and maybe Jason, Zack and Trini leaving the Rangers.
For me number 1 is the fist bump at the end of forever red. It's such an amazing ending but also very sad since we more then likely will never get another episode as good as that

@@majorfanboy2005 wasn’t a fan of Ninja steel, dino charge was okay and beasts morphers is okay. Dino fury is above average, I would consider it the best of all the shows I’ve named. They’re decent nothing groundbreaking like what we’ve getting after in space and during the Disney era but that’s just my opinion.

Daniel Brongers her death is not well known (outside of fans of the power rangers), likely because she died less than two weeks before the September 11 attacks.

For me, it was the destruction of the Command Center/Power Chamber at the end of Turbo. That was a major bummer.
@@hectorcollazo1963 Pretty sad moment with the Thunderzords too, yeah. I loved the Tigerzord. It's "death" is pretty brutal in particular. And seeing as how the Thunderzords were just the original MMPR Zords transformed, that means that the original Zords are lost forever, too. ;___;
Before RPM was finished, the Power Rangers franchise was at it’s best with creating good and serious storylines for fans and critics to enjoy so that cancellation of the shows wouldn’t be possible
Actually at that time disney owned the show and they tried to cancel it multiple times and just do power rangers cartoons. But toei repeatedly said no, power rangers is live action. Disney then cancelled the show after jungle fury but Jetix Europe managed to convince them to do one more season. But then disney made it their mission to make rpm unsucessful so that even if they wanted to do another season it wouldnt be possible, purposefully airing it at like 5am. Long hiatuses etc.
This is a very good list. Sky’s past, Frax’s Origin, and Time Force’s end are all great and sad. And we cannot forget the Magna Defender Redemption
This honestly makes me want to watch these shows again on netflix

He was physically and mentally mutilated, overcome with vengeance, his humanity stripped from him, and died in garbage. We will remember you Frax.
I had a few of the Lost Galaxy episodes on VHS and it was the one with Magna Defender's sacrifice.

I miss some of the old stuff you don't see in today's PWR's.
Like blood, better dialog that wasn't completely corny, slightly darker moments, badass characters, and better fight scenes, not counting the Sentai footage.

I think I've commented this on another video, but while a lot of people are disappointed that (likely to avoid drawing ire from parents) Wes and Jenn dont kiss it makes perfect sense. Jenn knows that kissing Wes would make it too hard for either of them to walk away. The two share a hug instead leaving us, and them, more sad that they didnt explore their relationship when the had the time. Considering the theme of Time Force it feel fitting that the season would leave us on a note that tells us that not only is time limited but that it should be used wisely as you never know when goodbye will come around.
Probably the best description of that situation I’ve ever read. That’s worth respect.
Explain why they didn’t kiss in the crossover wild force episode!
people that dnt watch power rangers have now appreciation of how it really has adult themes inbits series. eg love, loss, responsability and just general life lessons.
Fun fact during the 2018 power morphicon which featured all the main cast of time force(except Mr. Colins rip). Katie’s actress said they were all crying during production of the finale cause they all enjoyed working together. And believe it or not these guys are still good friends to this day.

Saddest part in time force is that while it was great that wes and jen confessed their love for each other, being together was just impossible, and their love was just a sad thing to leave behind as they parted ways!

That’s endearing to hear, as cheesy as the show was, it wasnt just constant action, it also had emotional momoments and a good message to always be a hero and fight evil wherever you find it.

I remember when power rangers first came out. I was like 12 or 13 and watched it with my little nephew because he was obsessed. He stopped watching and now I'm 39 and have every season/incarnation saved on Netflix and do marathons lol. But I did manage to get another nephew to watch w me for a time just a few years ago. Darn you Xbox for taking away my watch buddy, btw

Yeah, the butler died heroically and it was genuinely sad since he really did die. Gem and Jenna while still surprising and well acted is not sad because we know they won’t die. Deletion!?= be right back
I always had a theory when I was a kid that Master Org turn Cole's parents into Toxica and Jindrax.
Adam Batey the truth was far more heartbreaking, master org murdered coles parents in cold blood while also trying to find and kill cole as well

Zordon's death was sad, but the energy wave he released, killing most of the villains and reforming Rita, Zedd and Divatox was the most climactic part of the canon.
It would have been the perfect ending, just make timeforce afterward and the canon would have been fine

I think the more messed up part of Time Force was when they went back the first time and found out that Wes and Erik won the battle but died as well

At of all of those sad moments through out the Power Rangers franchise. Kimberly's break-up letter and Cole's dead parents are always the saddest moments for me.
