Another budget whisky that makes me happy. Easy sipper in this high prices. Who has tried it? Art by Elize Retief elizeretiefcreations.my.canva.site/prophetic-art. Please remember to like share and subscribe ❤
I'm definitely into the bourbon-refill light summer style these days. And with that in mind, the Thompson brothers' 8 yo blended malt is my top pick. Lovely candied citrus, peppery notes, mixed white fruits with vanilla and honey. What a banger, for less than 40 euros, no mistake there. ❤
Lovely video Gert! This is a fairly inexpensive dram that’s not bad. It’s not in my wheelhouse for scotch preferences but I had a dram a few months ago while at a function and it reminded me it’s drinkable! Cheers!
I have bought the WT101 from China lady month.... I do open it and drinking now, it's amazing whiskey for 35$ one liter bottle... The new version better than the old.... Bourbon become closer to my test, I'm really enjoying this moment 😊
Nice review, not that often this kind of whisky gets a review. I've tried it once, well what can I say...it's a low budget whisky, ok but not more. Imho, there is better options with mostley better specs at the same price or even cheaper, atleast here in Sweden. Here is some of the options...Teeling Rum Cask 46% abv, Talisker Skye 45,8% abv, The Tyrconnell 43% abv, anCnoc 12yo 40% abv, Finlaggan Batch Strength 50% abv, Old Pulteney 12yo 40%. Keep up thw good work :)
Like I said, this is only for the budget friendly whisky people. I am working on another expression for then about 10 Euro more. Like teeling, Talister sky is OK, but not really a friendly one for me. Thanks for watching and sending me your list. Cheers
glen moray is definitely the next new malt i'm trying. can get a sample of 4 different minis from their lineup for only $20. i know that works out to $75 a bottle, but with whisky i'm just trying to experience a variety of flavors. can just get beer for getting drunk with haha
