Extremely impressive Tim!! That extra horsepower/ torque makes some difference, but I thought that you did well with the JD 2038R. It is very nice of you to invite these guys into the project to try things. This is what you can’t get from a dealer!! Happy Father’s Day Time and stay safe!
Happy Father’s Day. Nothing better than seeing these tractors doing what their make to do...... What fun...... Other than run out of trees to destroy.....
And that's how I supposed to be a couple fellas hanging out having fun not hurting anybody and it hurting anything just playing with tractors doing good stuff clean fun or what I call fun
Hi Tim, Excellent video! I think the three of you were having way too much fun. It's really great to have the two other gentlemen bring their tractors and cutter to play in your big sand box!!!! I wish you were a bit closer so I could come by to join in on the good times! Really looking forward to the second part!
That was awesome to watch. I was just thinking about not liking that the stuff gets thrown towards the tractor and then you guys started talking about that. Excellent. Happy Father's Day to all!
Very impressive video. The brush mulcher really showed it has no limits in this video with the trees it encountered. With the Mini Clip you could easily clean out a fence row and pull the brush out to where the brush mulcher could get to it. I think I need to drive by and see the results. Happy Fathers Day Tim. Christy your doing a wonderful job filming and editing too .
I can tell from the height of them relative to the trsctors there is no easy you'd chew them them up with a bushhog unless you had a huge beast one of and a beast of a tractor to push them down. I have taken down single or two trees around 2 or 3" in diameter and same height by backing into them with a flail mower with hammers before... But it is slower, really works the flail mower, and would never handle that mass you are going into. Impressive machine!
Happy Fathers Day Tim and fathers of the TTWT Channel. Those two machines are amazing, I don't see how the clearing work could have been done faster or more thoroughly. Thanks for the great video Tim, I enjoyed watching it.
That is an awesome tool Tim I have bunch of tree limbs and such that this tool could chew up into mulch vs burning it all, but I really don't have or need a tractor quite that big.
Another great video Tim! That is a great implement for tractor owners to be able to clear their own land and even compete with skid steer implements! Looking forward to seeing the Blue tractor in action! Thanks and take care! Kapper
Like your videos, of course AHW had to get you a new 1025, they couldn't stand seeing you working johnny, and having all those Good Works Tractor stickers on it. I've been watching at least a couple of years now, and would say that your original instincts for a second tractor seem to be about right. I know you have the 50 series and the 2038 provided by AHW, but if you were buying a second tractor on your own dime, I believe the 3046 would be a perfect compliment to the 1025.
its all lookin purty darn good there. cant wait to see the finished product. Take, tractor 🚜safe🚜, God bless ya'll. Oh. . . . . . . . ."Happy Father's Day" to ya Mr Tim
Good stuff Mr. I have been doing it the hard way with a chain saw and slowly burning small piles it's taken me years 😟. I hired a dozer and I have worked equally as hard trying to get rid of the dozer pile. I would have preferred to do it this way by far Tim! Great video
Great tool. I would be concerned with stubbing tires. I ran a really nice Brown heavy duty 6 foot cutter that would take down 3" material and going in one direction only had pretty good success with tires not getting stubbed. I said pretty good. Had to put on aircraft front tires from Gensco and eliminated the front tire issues. Still had issues with the rears. Only run tubeless tires and keep tire plugs when brush hogging. Even being careful you will still get flats. I wouldn't touch anything this dense due to tire concerns. Thanks for the video Tim. Great job again.
Now that looks like my kind fun, oh and yes I know what you guys are going through there, my Dad and I are dealing with the same stuff at a cousins farm that we have been working at for almost 3 years!!!
I have just got done after a few days with a Woods B72X Brush Bull, and a Brush Brute, on a piece of land of mine that had over grown with Alders. Thought I had it made with them 2 pieces of equipment. WOW If I had of had that would have made it go so much better and faster. With the Brush Brute for the larger ones on the loader and the Woods on the PTO for the smaller, I ended up with very large piles of alders, sods ect. Of coarse with my antique, open station 1967 David Brown 990 Selectamatic in 90 plus degree heat with hot sun, made the event sooo much more enjoyable. That Brush Mulcher would do the job of several other pieces, you could eliminate the Hog, stump grinder, and my brush brute, and who knows what else it could replace..
That is one awesome attachment! You do an excellent job showing what it can do on different size tractors. I bet this would be good for those here in Georgia that have peach / pecan orchards, pine tree farms, that it could mulch up their brush and branches from pruning or under brush on the pine tree farms.
Impressive watching that think eat the mulberry trunk! Mulberry is some tough wood too! This project looks like it's almost done. It will be sad to see it completed.
I did clear some land like the smaller brush you chipped with a bush hog and tooth bucket but it was aloooot slower and not near as fun and there are still piles to burn.
Baumalight makes the brush mulcher in a hydraulic skid steer version which coupled with the power pack even on a 2038R would be amazing. I like the dampening of the hydraulic brush mower (and moving forward) and to have those features in the brush mulcher would be incredibly useful.
Tim and friends this was one of the best uses of a grinder I have ever seen never thought they could make something like this only problem I don't think we could afford the big tractor God Bless All PaK
MAANNNNN..... I took down 5 bradford pear trees.... boy I would have LOVED to have had this setup. It would have took me about two days.....rather than about year. GREAT VIDEO COOL MACHINES!!!!!!
Instead of Tree Eliminator , Tim should have titled the video THE TREEMINATOR ( aka "The Terminator" ) and Tim could have used his best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression and said " I'll be back " for part 2 of the video. He's already sporting the necessary shades. Happy Fathers Day Tim. :)
Well now you've done it. I can see a new 4066R cab tractor in your future,,,,,,,,,, Going to have to build another MEGA pole barn for the fleet of tractors, trucks and implements and a forklift for the new pallet shelving for stacking those implements for sure..
You have some great toys Tim. I bet the property owners are very happy. The chipper/stump grinder/roto tiller is one impressive machine. Do you have any worries about the glass in the cab or just the bottom of the tractor hydraulics and filters and such. Looking forward to seeing how big blue does. Thanks for sharing brother 👍
John Deere should offer a hydrostat compact tractor with the tracks like the 8XXXR series has now, or a no flat option, really I would like to see an option like that on all tractor sizes. I would like to try one of those on my 80hp, but I've already cleaned up everything I would have needed it on with a dozer, chainsaw and shredder. Another enjoyable episode, now I'm itching to see the New Holland, I've operated more old Fords than any other brand and really can't complain about them to much, they were as well made as any tractor back then and maybe better in some ways (their hydraulic hookups for one thing were really nice).
I have a bush hog that would mow that, Land pride RCF 3696, it has 210hp gearboxes on it and is rated to cut 3" but you would need about a 100hp cab tractor with skid plates. I have an open station tractor without skid plates and I don't think I would be to crazy about trying that without a cab and some skid plates for protection. Being how it is a 3pt mower I could raise it up some and back into it and get it taken care of though.
That was an impressive video watching the increased Hp eat with that thing on the back. I have no use for one of those but after watching that vid I kinda want one to go play with. Lol
Nothing better than a tractor play date. That is some nasty weeds you are clearing. As a former landscaper any tree, bush, high grass in your way is a weed.
What is the PTO shaft length from the 4052R to the MP348? I bought one and am looking to validate my measurement? The shaft that was delivered was very long and needs to be cut down? What is the collapsed length?
Yeah the Brown cutters will do some work in a hurry. The biggest issue I have found is they are good a leaving 4-6" sharpened stobs on the ground which disagree with tractor tires.
Tractor Time with Tom (Sawyer) by the looks of it. Doing a paid job and having others come over to do it for you for the fun of trying it out, and they bring their own machines as well.
God bless you Guys. Thanks for sharing. I’m getting ready to clear my land and this is a great help for my layout. I have more young trees and brush and this set up would be efficient to clear my land down to the soil. My property is in wilder mountain Tennessee and I’m looking to rent something like this? Any suggestions, company that can deliver a unit as such?
How much discharge from the rear hence my 60 hp is open thanks looking and called a couple places for the mp 360 none on display. Belt driven yes or chain
Hey Tim this is Randy I’ve been watching all episodes and everything else and all and you have a big tractor there to why couldn’t you use that brush mulcher on your tractor you got a big tractor on one of your episodes or something like that that would be very good rather boring that 4052 are whatever it was I can’t remember but what it was when you had that thing then you didn’t show any episode about that about that loader out of the brush hog in the front on the bucket like where you would put your bucket and everything and you know I forgot to kind of do one episode you should do the other episode right back because I wanted to see what that animal could do to you have some very interesting things I know what you do with Sometimes you need to bring bring the bigger tractor in the operation rather everything on Johnny because it looks like it’s got a little more horsepower and everything else you know well this is Randy out now and I thought I throw this comment into you and everything else you know
We used to have issues with the reverse gear in JD tractors. JD used bushings instead of bearings in reverse gear, which wore out when using reverse gear for extended periods. Has that been resolved?
The mulched would be much easier to use if you had a tractor was equipped with a front PTO and three point hitch. You can’t work all day when you’re twisted around trying to look backwards. If you had a front end setup you could work all day. I realize the front end setup is an added expense, but if you’re clearing land for a living then the expense could be justified and a business expense for tax purposes.
That thing sucks in trees almost as fast as I can suck in a cheeseburger. Lol. I wonder if you could mount a camera in that attachment so you can see what you're doing without help.
Really that Baumalight mulcher should be raised a bit when you back into those willow bushes they are very stringy and love wrapping around. So if you do a bit of a top down approach you will have more success mulching them and less stalling of the tractor. Really those mulchers should be on a much bigger tractor like 100+h.p. or on a dedicated machine or a skid-steer as they use a hydrostatic motor to power the mulcher and you'll have less problems with stalling. I run proper mulchers for a living and even had a stump grinder for my Kioti CK3510 which worked alright but not as good a hydrostatic powered unit.
@Tim, do you think there's anything (not as big obviously) that you could get for the Ventrac (front or rear) that could give you that mulching type effect? (seems to save a whole step in the process of clearing by taking care of the stumps too) Great vid 👍⭐️😀
The flail mulcher will not suck the brush in and kill the tractor if you go foreward over the brush. Back over it with it up and drive foreward with it down.
I need htis. I've got 75 trees and branches are falling down every few weeks. I'm using a pair of loppers and a small electric pole chain saw to deal with it. My dream would be to just take a big ass machine like this and basically lawn mow my trees.
Damn.. Since we just had all our acreage logged out and I am now in the middle of clearing brush, stumps etc.. I thought, HOLY COW! this is exactly what I need.. Until I found the price. $10,000. Oh well. Back to doing it all with the grapple... LOL
Extremely impressive Tim!! That extra horsepower/ torque makes some difference, but I thought that you did well with the JD 2038R. It is very nice of you to invite these guys into the project to try things. This is what you can’t get from a dealer!! Happy Father’s Day Time and stay safe!
This is a very good video. Not only packed with interesting information, but all of the participants made it so enjoyable. Thanks to everyone!
Happy Father’s Day. Nothing better than seeing these tractors doing what their make to do...... What fun...... Other than run out of trees to destroy.....
Thanks, I've been wanting to see it on a larger hp tractor. I've got a John deere 4066R that I'd love to try that mulcher on.
4066r is a bit too large for this mulcher. It is rated 45 PTO hp max.
What a great time testing out some cool equipment. Thanks for the opportunity, and blessings to you and Christy.
Happy Fathers day to all the dads out there! Great way to start a Sunday morning.
And that's how I supposed to be a couple fellas hanging out having fun not hurting anybody and it hurting anything just playing with tractors doing good stuff clean fun or what I call fun
... surely more interesting as the *Technic = but most reason.... be far away own womanhood.....
...last but not least....later.... at home ..... darling... sweety ---- my *NECK ....my Neck......
Hi Tim,

Must be fun having all the guys and their toys over for a "play date".
Very impressive video. The brush mulcher really showed it has no limits in this video with the trees it encountered. Very kind of the gents who brought their larger HP machines to help. Now, you're officially in "get 'er done" mode!
Oh what fun! You guys were mulching MONSTERS!!! I was sad when the video ended!
More to come...tomorrow 7am!
What an awesome demo - simply amazing what you can achieve with the right tractor and implement for the job
I like that fella Ken. You should have him on more vids in the future - great gift of gab and sense of humor.
You are very kind. (I am he). Thanks for the encouragement. We had a great time.
I wouldn't mind seeing more 4 series john Deere content. I think the $ series is a good size since its a bit smaller than a more farm suited 5 series.
Individually a lot of those trees are fairly small but the density effectively increases their size quite a bit.
its all lookin purty darn good there. cant wait to see the finished product.
Take, tractor 🚜safe🚜, God bless ya'll. Oh. . . . . . . . ."Happy Father's Day" to ya Mr Tim

Hey we got a new Yanmar 324 yesterday and we got a bad boy bush hog. It worked great
Great tool. I would be concerned with stubbing tires. Not just great video, watching this is good therapy. That Mini-Clip is a dream tool. Thank you! 😎💯💯😎

I bet this would be good for those here in Georgia that have peach / pecan orchards, pine tree farms, that it could mulch up their brush and branches from pruning or under brush on the pine tree farms.
It looks like he takes good care of his machinery
Tim you have to show what the cutters look like after that! That is one heck of a machine. That would be nice if you have the right size tractor!
The brush mulcher did a great job with the 4052R!
Love thees video's Tim. Its great seeing all the different equipment compared. Cant wait to watch the next video.
That was a blast, Tim! I can't wait for part 2.
This was the video I was waiting for. Thanks TTWT! Those bushes do look tough even on the video.
Looking forward to the next episode!
Impressive and fun. Have a great father's day 🤠
This is so satisfying to watch! Hurry and post part 2 😂
Happy Father’s Day Tim.

Way over priced, do some shopping around.

That was impressive. Another great video Tim and Christy. Can't wait for part two.
Awesome video Tim, I got to get one of those Baumalights one day, that is the real deal right there.
Gonna have to put you in charge of titles!!!
Very good piece of equipment for this type of land clearing.
Well now you've done it. I can see a new 4066R cab tractor in your future,,,,,,,,,, Going to have to build another MEGA pole barn for the fleet of tractors, trucks and implements and a forklift for the new pallet shelving for stacking those implements for sure..
Happy Father’s Day Tim, I have been looking at a used 4052. I might pull the trigger
Hey if it suits u go for it
The best comment came at 12:40. "What a beast". Yes it is. I wish I was there with you. You guys are having to good a time.
Doesn’t seem to throw much stuff upward
Tree eliminator?? Tree Eater!! Be safe out there and be blessed.
Thanks for sharing this video Tim hey it beats dragging brush
Absolutely! Mulch in-place is about as easy as it gets!
John Deere should offer a hydrostat compact tractor with the tracks like the 8XXXR series has now, or a no flat option, really I would like to see an option like that on all tractor sizes. That was FUN!!!!

Happy Father's Day, Tim!
From what I've seen in my line of work is to separate the pile a bit instead of attacking it all at once is alot better
THIS is what i love. Are there larger grinders? I have 50 acres of large cedars in TX. This is very relatable content.
Yes, we’ll show a larger one in the next week or two.
@@TractorTimewithTim Awesome! I love you guys!
Kyle- if you have 50 acres a logger go in there and harvest the wood and they will even pay you for the wood.
Happy Father's Day Tim!
Heyhey Tim Just curious why you did not use Johnny 5 . That tractor certainly would have done that. Nice video.
Above rated HP for this attachment
That was an impressive video watching the increased Hp eat with that thing on the back. I have no use for one of those but after watching that vid I kinda want one to go play with. Lol
OH, WOW !!
That Brushbuster is just sucking it up faster than the tractor moves.
Man that Mini-Clip would be the cat's meow at a Christmas tree farm, huh?
Nothing better than a tractor play date. That is some nasty weeds you are clearing. As a former landscaper any tree, bush, high grass in your way is a weed.
You guys are having to much fun lol. 👍jdmich
could you try it on the 5075e ? would like to see if it would stall that beast
What is the PTO shaft length from the 4052R to the MP348? I bought one and am looking to validate my measurement? The shaft that was delivered was very long and needs to be cut down? What is the collapsed length?
The Hollis Farms channel he's the one who has the brown cutter that will cut that stuff easier.
Yeah the Brown cutters will do some work in a hurry. The biggest issue I have found is they are good a leaving 4-6" sharpened stobs on the ground which disagree with tractor tires.
Happy Father's day Tom Soyer! LOL VERY NICE VIDEO!
Tim you need one of those buddy it does a good job. Thanks for the videos buddy
Tractor Time with Tom (Sawyer) by the looks of it. Doing a paid job and having others come over to do it for you for the fun of trying it out, and they bring their own machines as well.
...and we ALL had a great time of it! Yep. Tom Sawyer would be proud!
That machine is a beast, wow. Thank you for sharing, and God Bless from Phoenix. Russ
That's quite a machine.
So with the power pack you could run a skid steer mulcher on the front of your loader
Tim I hope you have a great Father’s Day! How much horse power does Jonny 5 have?
About 65pto. Rated at 60
How much discharge from the rear hence my 60 hp is open thanks looking and called a couple places for the mp 360 none on display. Belt driven yes or chain
Happy Father’s Day Tim. I’m totally impressed with that machine. My only concern is long term on the tractor’s drivetrain/clutch.
That is what I have been wondering.
Hey Tim this is Randy I’ve been watching all episodes and everything else and all and you have a big tractor there to why couldn’t you use that brush mulcher on your tractor you got a big tractor on one of your episodes or something like that that would be very good rather boring that 4052 are whatever it was I can’t remember but what it was when you had that thing then you didn’t show any episode about that about that loader out of the brush hog in the front on the bucket like where you would put your bucket and everything and you know I forgot to kind of do one episode you should do the other episode right back because I wanted to see what that animal could do to you have some very interesting things I know what you do with Sometimes you need to bring bring the bigger tractor in the operation rather everything on Johnny because it looks like it’s got a little more horsepower and everything else you know well this is Randy out now and I thought I throw this comment into you and everything else you know
Randy Deeneen .... well ... that was very hard to read. It may help if you added some periods and comma’s. Even then.... maybe not .
I keep wondering if you are supposed to go forward with the Brush Mulcher instead of backing in.
That clipper is badass
We used to have issues with the reverse gear in JD tractors. JD used bushings instead of bearings in reverse gear, which wore out when using reverse gear for extended periods. Has that been resolved?
Well, this is hydrostatic transmission, so your issue would not be present.
I have a 4066r and would love one of those.
What is the actual model number of the one you are using in the video?
MP348...your 4066 should go with next size up. MP560. Unfortunately, it is cat 2.
We need to work with Baumalight for a solution.
That's why skid steers/track loaders have become so popular in recent years versus ag tractors.
Great video I think have fun also running those machines.
You need one of these grinders.
Happy Fathers Day Tim
I wish you were closer to me. I have a big brush pile at my church
That thing is a monster!!!
The flail mulcher will not suck the brush in and kill the tractor if you go foreward over the brush. Back over it with it up and drive foreward with it down.
People are not understanding the brush was very thick so they had to go slow and be careful otherwise they would run out of hp
I need htis. I've got 75 trees and branches are falling down every few weeks. I'm using a pair of loppers and a small electric pole chain saw to deal with it. My dream would be to just take a big ass machine like this and basically lawn mow my trees.

I think if you try to mulch the tree from top to bottom it may not suck in as easily.
Yes. Tried it. Unfortunately, the tree doesn’t feed in well at all.
