Mfw I decide to check just one more car. Boom. Alarm, now the horde is here. Too bad my only escape route was a tall fence that I was too exhausted to climb and failed twice. this is, quite literally, with 0 exaggeration, what happens, you kill one, another comes, you kill him, 3 more get drawn over, it goes on till like 15 are over there, you pull out your gun and start firing, aiming every shot to be as quiet and efficient as possible, and then a whole HORDE of about 70-80 comes over, and it's funny because you can even start to FEEL the PC lag build up as they approach.

They should do this song when its black friday
HAHAHAAA
This song is like the antithesis to “Maybe We Can Win This”, instead of driving you to fight the endless horde despite your broken and tired body, this song instills you with the sense that if you don’t start planning to get away _RIGHT NOW,_ then you’re as good as dead, and even if you do, it’ll take luck to survive
I once had this play during the helicopter event (insane pop). It stayed above me from noon till 8 and my guy was hungry tired and exerted. I fled north of muldraugh which meant I was just getting into the first farmer field at 11. I also had pitch black nights on. The music is still going even as I approach the farmhouse but turns out it's full of zombies too and I'm teir 4 tired, teir 4 exhausted including various scratches sustained by bushes and enemies. I fled further into the woods and decided k this is where I die I may as well fight and I managed to kill the last two zombies I couldn't shake and it was 2 am. Patched myself up and passed out. He died a few months later because gravity
me and my friend were defending our house from a horde of 200 - 300 zombies
we could hear windows getting broken, doors falling, barricades dying, the ywere breaking in the house from everywhere, and we had guns to defend ourselves
everything was so chaotic, my friend and i were literally back to back defending our side from the wave of zombies
at one point we got overwhelmed and we had to make a run for it
my friend got a crowbar and started tearing planks apart to let us open that door while i was defending him from a litteral horde
and we escaped the house and the horde, it was pretty hectic
I came to comment exactly that.Couldn't have said it better, this is the song that you die to.
@@colinhubble6667it’s just crazy the stuff we survive only to die in pathetic ways man, my character Rose Woodsman basically cleared rosewood, the streets were quiet with only the occasional wanderer, even the prison, I had a fair amount of ammo left since I recently begun the muldraugh clearing operation, I had 2 generators, plenty of food for the winter which was almost arriving, the only problems I had was a lack of water and a sledge hammer, so I figured screw it let me burn a hole in the side of the garage at my base, burned a hole in it, went to walk in over the visibly extinguished fire, and boom I catch on fire for no reason and die at my own base, after THOUSANDS of zombie kills, Rose Woodsman died like THAT!
There is another song called “Maybe Not” that is also meant to be the follow up to that
This played when a helicopter event caught my sleeping army veteran character by surprise. I first tried to stay hidden within the safehouse I was in, hoping the helicopter would leave me alone, but that fucker just kept hovering on above me. Soon, I began hearing zombies breaking in through the windows outside of my bedroom and that's when I knew it was time to GTFO.
I swung open the curtains and froze up as I saw the entire backyard getting progressively overrun by zombies, all of them surrounding an ambulance I had prepared for a quick getaway that I now had to immediately get to. Cue me sliding the window open, hopping through it and beginning to blast zombies away with my shotgun while that POS helicopter pilot kept following me around, all while the track's tension rose to its peak in the background. Leading that horde away from my base while turning around occasionally to shoot a few of them down and only realizing each time that it was only merely getting bigger and bigger was an intense adrenaline rush.
In the end, the helicopter flew away, I got into the ambulance and I managed to escape with only a couple of lacerations to a nearby farm. I like to think that my army veteran survivor probably got some Vietnam flashbacks through the whole ordeal.
a laceration doesn’t guarantee you that you’ll survive with it’s 25% of infection
died during heli because i was not paying attention and got surrounded by enough zombies to fully stun me
I like to think that the veterans in PZ are Gulf War vets.
@@coolpeeper that would explain why the occupation doesn't force you to have white hair and move 50% slower
@@coolpeeper depends on how old your character is. Someone who went there in '68 during the peak of the war and was 18 would be 43 years old in '93 when Zomboid takes place. Older, but definitely still survivable. But they could've served in Panama, the Tanker War, Cambodia, Grenada, or any other war between Nam and 93.

This played as I was plowing through a massive horde in Muldraugh to save a trapped survivor. The music hit its climax as I pulled up to the area he was trapped in, cleared the zombies in the immediate area, and yelled "Hurry and get in the truck, there's a whole fuckin lot more coming our way!"
The drive out of town was very intense.

"Anyways, then I went home and played some more Zomboid."
@penileymajorey7174 I dont even know how you can say this to that, as this scenario literally happens everyday in PZ.
HOLY SHIT THIS ONE IS SO GOOD
My friend and i were at some mall today, and one of us accidentally shouted (that pesky Q key).
Usually a shout wouldnt bring a whole lot of zeds for us.. But not this time.
My bud told me "Dumbass, we gotta get going now. Shouldnt be a problem but yknow, better go now."
Agreeing with him, we got going on foot. We didnt realize we were completely surrounded by 3 or 4 hordes of the Undead. I couldnt say how many per horde but they were pretty big. Like 7-10 zombies each at least. We were fucking stressed out of our minds immediately and started sprinting between the hordes out of that fucking mall.
I have NO idea how we didnt die in that. We managed to get back home that night, safe.
It was a fucking insane experience and this ost just made it all the more exciting.
I love this game so much.
I think a horde is generally at least 30 zombies

What's more damaging than hitting Q on accident? Pressing E instead of W while driving through a horde...
for me what is annoying is that this song plays when there is like 1-3 zombies and NEVER when im running away from a horde of 60 of em
I love how the “low” part of this OST has a slow tempo like it’s almost mimicking the speed of the never ending horde slowing approaching you.. leaving you to panic on what to do. then the song picks up as the heat does too and now it’s a much faster beat. the beat of a desperate person sprinting away with fear in their eyes…

what i love about pinpoint hearing and max travel distance is how one part of town can seem every empty but as soon as you press q or make a loud noise, zombies are flooding out into the streets and from the tree line
This song means two different things for people. The first most common one being “oh my god how is there so many”, the second one being “MoLoToV”
My character was unemployed reader with an issue of hearing and having awful luck, everytime I hearing this music whenever I go out for looting it's feel like I make a plan that I got only one shot to make it done, and sound.
Adrenaline rushing like hell, fear and panic mixing together like shellshocked soldier, it's instantly giving my an idea to clearing small to medium horde by standing a bit far away and let some of them see me so I can bait to the same spot and keep hitting them with a metal pipe, I keep doing it until music end and finally get an ice cream in someone's house.

when you hope that the situation will not become worse, but this song start playing
This song brings me flashbacks to when me and my friends tried to loot west point one time. We decided that 3 people, including me, should loot police station while the other 4 loot the gun store. Coms was calm at first, (we used in game voice chat) just casual chatter. But overtime we saw more zeds approach and coms got more frantic overtime with people yelling to cover them, saying that there's a ton of zeds, etc. All I could hear for the next 4 mins was gunshots, zeds, and yelling from my friends, after awhile we were low on ammo and couldn't hold them off for much longer. We got out as quick as we could, running over many zombies in the process, although we lost of one of our friends. Last conversation I had with the other group was yelling at them to "Get the fuck out of west point, its a lost cause!" And hearing back: "the van is surrounded we can't, we'll try to hotwire a car and get out, although we might not make it" All of this happened while this song was playing.
Ah yes the “accidentally pressing Q” song
A song that express your need for resources but the danger is inmense in every corner, where one bad step could take away your life in seconds by zombies.
At 3:59, you've already been bitten so, you're bleeding and don't have a bandage or ripped sheet, you jumped a fence and fell and now you're limping, you are "ridiculously tired" from so much strikes, so your nightstick is about to break, and there's 20 more zombies chasing you. This is hell. You have to survive.

I will always remember this for a time when I spawned in Louisville (thanks random spawn mod), had no weapons, had a scratch on my foot after crashing my bike, and max exhaustion after trying to kick 2 zeds to death which quickly ballooned into a horde of 20. I was so slow that the zeds were outpacing me. The only reason I survived for as long as I did was because the zeds attack animation was slightly too long.
