Learning how to use reverb is essential in mixing. It can add width and distance between you instruments. Reverb can also make your tracks sound like they were recorded in a completely different space. This is particularly helpful if you are recording in a bedroom or small home studio environment and you want your tracks to have that big studio sound! The biggest mistake that you can make with reverb is going overboard and making a washy muddy sound mix where everything is smeared together in reverb.

Hi Friends, Have you ever struggled with mixing with reverb? I had this issue when mixing and using reverb in my non treated room...a pair of HD600s solved that for me. I’m happy to mix in headphones to a place where I can send the mix to a mastering engineer

I've been looking for a video to explain reverb, and this was the BEST. Excellent video and explained beautifully.
Ive now got a right and left reverb sends for my live set im building. And my gosh suttle but really fills the space and gives it more energy. This is why your my favorite youtube mentor and i dont even record hahaha. You have taught me how to mix just learning how equipment works and how to get those tones so ive picked my plug ins to get now i know the difference between gear. Best channel ever
