    Rented one of these in Sardinia last week - absolutely loved it. I live in an apartment in the US, so the removable batteries are a game-changer. Hope to find a dealer when I return.

    I have driven my NGT for 8 month up to now. It provides impressing cost efficiency and range. The electric power consumption is 3 kWh per 100 km, 1 Euro! The battery range is 150 km for 1 person and 90 km with 2 persons. Max. speed is 78 km/h.

      In which mode do you get 150km per charge?? I roughtly can get 70km per charge...

    • @wirksam6754
      @wirksam6754 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Davide Zhang Very often I drive in mixed modes. Then my NGT display shows 93 km range with full batteries. If the batteries are lower than 15%, the NGT reduces speed to ECO mode, which means 19 km/h. This mode brings 150 km range.
      Last week I have driven 52 km distance with full speed 78 km/h and average speed of 68 km. After this the batteries had 40% rest energy.

    NIU no longer have a deal with Bosch (motors) or Panasonic (batteries) if you buy any of their newer models it has NIU on the motor and the batteries are all in-house now.

    I took one for a test drive. When I was stationery on a hill waiting for the lights to change, it wouldn’t go, I got off in a reluctant attempt to push it back to the stockist when it then came to life again. What would cause this? And what can I do to avoid this happening if I purchase one. Thanks! New Zealand

    • @perodenero
      @perodenero ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the bike doesn't move if you hold the break lever. Being on a hill you probably held on to the break like you would a normal scooter, the break lever must be completely disingaged.

      @stumpusMaximus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol what a fool. It’s like winding your window down on your car and sticking your head out. All you hear is road noise and wind. You can’t escape that on any electric vehicle.

    • @markh3055
      @markh3055 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Adam_Outdoors I got that, numpty, was just kidding ... by the way, I have a quick electric scooter and they are not silent besides wind noises, they do have a certain high pitched wail at higher speeds, much quieter than a gas bike, but still far from silent ... it's much louder than noise you hear from your car ICE engine, and then there's the wind ;)

    It looks tiny! I love the idea of e scooters like this but I want to use it all day doing deliveries and I am fairly tall; 6’2” / 185cm. The only way I can see this being useable is by shifting back to the passenger seat. Anyone have any experience?

      Got a similar one, with the view of possibly using it for courier work. While it’s really fun, the type of distance you’d end up doing makes it hard for me to have faith in mine (80km/50mi range) unless I had a “base” to recharge at.

    • @belife6332

      Yes you can, take the battery/batteries out and bring them to your app. Normally if u got a niu with 2 batterries u get a split charger to charge both batterries at the same time. Also Remember first put the charger in the battery then out the charger in the charging output of the wall (idk the name in english :)

I'm 70 years old. id like to carry a .45 too for any of these bloody lowlife parasites who try to steal our batteries and you stuck 33 miles from home. I need to travel at least 35 miles to a surfing beach from my home (as its flat as a pancake where I live). and return 35 miles over steep hills. can you freewheel down the hills to save the battery? can you switch off the battery and screen during running?.
