I didn't necessarily expect any evil Morty stuff in these episodes.
It seems to me like they only do things like that when the inspiration hits them.
I'd prefer it to stay that way instead of forcing it in because of fan anticipation.
Yeah, it's like everybody expects it now because we got evil Morty in a total of two episodes lol. It's going to come up when we least expect it just like last time.
I totally agree, I have no idea why anyone would expect evil morty to turn up anytime soon. They don't play that way.
agreed the evil morty stuff is good but this and the other episodes to this season are very good as well i have enjoyed them without it.

this is all about "Evil Morty", how do you turn someone "evil"? Extinguish all hope, they took away the dream of being with Jessica in the first episode, they took away any respect he had for his father, with the app, his mother's focus is now on Summer......all he has now is Rick, how long can you trust Rick.......this has been thought out, we should trust the process and go for the ride.

Now that it has come to an end, you should watch and react to Mr. Robot, I believe you will profoundly love this show, specially the masterful third and fourth season! Most beautiful season finale in the history of television!
About the talking Cats past. It's clever how the writers made it so you want to know....and yet, you don't. Would you REALLY want to know something that was so bad, it made Rick (....RICK mind you) almost off himself on the spot and mercifully wipe Jerry's memory (and we're talking about Jerry here)?
What I don't get is, if what the Cat did was THAT heinous, why didn't Rick zap the little bastard?

The evil Morty stuff, you need to think about like The X Files and other great shows. If they burn through the "through line" you don't get the joy of the ride for the "monster of the week" episodes where they get to do any crazy free-form fun stuff they want. And you have something to look forward to when that story slowly emerges.
There is a lot of value in having something cool to look forward to, even if you don't ever get it.
When I was a kid, I'd save up these little up symbols off GI Joe men, after a year of saving up, I'd mail off an envelope full of them with my allowance and wait 6 to 8 weeks, so like 2 months to get a special action figure in the mail. The excitement was palpable. It's good to have swing exciting to look forward to, so the mundane day to day blahs don't get to you too bad when you've had a crummy week.

After these 5 they have another 65 episodes to make. There shouldn’t be any rush to get to evil Morty the show will get when the time is right. Out of the 36 episodes we have we saw evil Morty in only two. In season one and season 3 so if I were to make a prediction we aren’t going to see evil Morty until season 5 and I’m okay with that
