Theme idea: Mysterious Space! Aliens, planets, astronauts, stars……I think the colours would be amazing!
I was thinking the same thing - lots of possibilities and it's a trending theme right now.

Mysterious Cottage could be cool for the fall. Mysterious garden could combine interesting insects and flowers or plants. Mysterious pond could have reptiles and waterfowl as well as grungy water and pond vegetation.
Theme: Mysterious Desert! Critters and colors galore to choose from. And yes. Top Down *is* the only kind of socks. :D

Beautiful projects from both of you. Nothing wrong with going MadMax with purchases, have done that myself. Thank you Vincent for the crochet inspiration. I bought Edward’s Menagerie Birds book during the pandemic to crochet a flamingo for a friend who is obsessed with them, I figure if you can aim to do so many I should be able to crank out one🦩.

Mysterious Menagerie would be spectacular with all the weird and peculiar animals discovered from adventures past, displayed in captivity and now sadly extinct.
I like the darker stripes for Vincent's sweater, and you don't have to knit a swatch, just wrap the colors around a piece of cardboard or small book to see how they look next to each other, Stephen West does this all the time for color play.

Growing up in Montreal in the 70’s you made me nostalgic for going downtown from Ahuntsic to buy the latest records at Phantasmagoria!
How about a desert theme…look at Georgia O’keefe colors in her New Mexico paintings…browns/neutrals in contrast with vibrant turquoise /fuchsias ….I am sure you could have great inspirations

Great Podcast Gentlemen. Love your designs and styles that you produce. I was just wondering if you could show us on your paid for patterns Vincent how you carry your stripes on the Montrealer. I really didn't like the method that I used which was the jog less method. I've made the Montrealer for my son and he absolutely loves it. So, I plan to make him another one with the hoody. I wasn't able to add on the hood because I needed extra yarn for the arms and body length that he requested. So, I extended the neck higher with the draw string. Oh! I do like the rose colour for the stripes on the Montrealer too.
Suggestions for the next club(s): Mysterious Fungi (with different whimsical/cartoonish mushrooms) and/or Mysterious Bug World / Insect World
Idea: Mysterious Coffee Shop (we have a coffee roasting company in the US)

a suggestion for a theme for a club : you could make that trip to Paris and make that your theme, and I would not just take Paris, but one aspect of Paris: its patisserie, its music, its graveyards, its metro, its 'bande dessinée, whatever. by the way it doesn't have to be Paris, could be brussels too. for the Montrealer re-do - I think doing the stripes in the Dusty Rose and having the Natural as the accent would look really gorgeous as well! Max your pullover design is really lovely. I can see it in the reverse dark and light as well❤

Theme: Mysterious Garden. You can go bright with colorful flowers and bugs and birds, or you can go Gothic with poisonous plants and fun creatures, a deadly nightshade garden. Both work for me.

Gorgeous moody colors, fascinating (carnivorous!) plants, cute animals - muskrats, frogs, and a definite air of mystery! Pitcher plant stitch markers and cranberry cocktail recipes!
Mysterious Confectionery
Lots of bright and pastel options, adorable taffy ribbons, hard candies with soft personalities, and antique brass scale pins piled high with gumdrops!
Mysterious Museum
Yarn inspired by famous pieces of art. A kindly old museum guard with an ancient flashlight. Palettes, tubes of oil paint, and a shawl pattern designed to have a watercolor vibe.
Mysterious Mushroom
So many colors and patterns! A set of mushroom stitch markers. Red with white speckles like amanita, that gorgeous taupe of oyster mushrooms, the stubby texture of Lion’s Mane.
Six is great. I saw it in Edmonton in 2019 with the cast that was bound for Broadway.
@Vincent I do like the original swatch for your sweater, but whatever you decide I know it will be beautiful.

Hi lovely Garcons, was thinking you could do a Mystery set based on Continents, Europe,Asia, Australia etc as you have already done the components to make Earth already..... after you have come full circle on this you could start Animal themes, Chameleons, Antelopes, Kangaroos, etc that have interesting colour schemes.... good luck with what themes you choose...
