I'm in love with your designs and yarn. Someday I will be able to purchase your yarn and a few patterns I have my eye on. I'm currently packing up my possessions (new owners bought the house, i'm a renter) to put them in storage,and will be living in my car,as the rental market is atrocious. What a happy surprise to have your podcast pop up as a recommendation! I have to admit I didn't really "see" everything you were showing because Vincent is so mesmerizing. I'll re-watch later, though I might have to tape a piece of paper over his face to pay better attention!! I'd not heard of the "His Dark Materials" books so that's now on my list of things to do. I love your podcast. If you have too much twist on your yarn you can pass the singles through the wheel on the opposite direction. I think you can do the same with the drop spindle. Also, once you wash it will loose some of the twist too.

OMG guys!!! I’m moving in - we watch the same telly! The Drag Races are on Stan here in Australia and we are at the same stage. My fave in the UK is also Lawrence Chaney (you HAVE to say it with the accent) and my favourite in the USA got covid (I won’t put a name in case others are behind), I look forward to watching her win the next series. My next favourite, the nurse, didn’t get back in! Who has been your favourite ever? Mine is Bianca Del Ray - hilarious and I love her style, a very close second is Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. RuPaul has been filming one here in Australia - I cannot wait! - I hope you get to see it.

Funny that you said that when someone says That looks Store bought, that's a good compliment. Once someone told me that the dress my mother had made for me looked store bought and I was insulted. It looked better than store bought to me because it was a perfect perfectly.

So lovely to “meet” you both here - have subscribed. I also just adore the Dark Materials trilogy on audiobook. When we lived on the north coast of Scotland, we were often in the car, and it was such good travel listening. I find that there’s something so soothing about Phillip Pullman’s voice too. In the years since we moved back to Edinburgh it’s become my comfort listen. Whenever I feel upset or stressed, I listen to a chapter or two and it’s always so soothing. Your yarn club inspired by the text sounds brilliant - no wonder it sold out so fast! Looking forward to your next episode...

@@les.garcons Ah Edinburgh is a lovely city. I’ve now lived here more than I’ve lived anywhere else in my life, and I would still say it’s my most favourite of places. But, as with most cities and towns, I imagine, she’s not currently herself. Lockdown is taking its toll. And we’ve lost too many of our people. But I’m hopeful that as this year progresses, we might be able to return to something that feels a bit more joyful, a bit more... Edinburgh. In the meantime, I’ve been listening to The Proclaimers sing Streets of Edinburgh - if you don’t know it, look up the official video on TH-cam. A beautiful song for a beautiful city.
