Definitely a nice looking trailer. He did a very nice job on it.
Thank you.
I love the setup looking into the Nucanoe unlimited purple edition for my first kayak!! Thanks for sharing tight lines!
Can’t go wrong with the Unlimited. Wide open canvas to have fun with and everything can be track mounted and charged at anytime easily
Love the trailer and your set-up Ryan! Outstanding! Good job with the video!
Thanks Dave. I appreciate it.
Just ordered one yesterday. Can’t wait!
Awesome. That is great. Like to hear.
Very nice! Enjoy it.
Thank you sir.
Is there a reason you went with the platform on the passenger side? To me it would make sense to have the platform on the driver's side. That way when you wet launch you can get on the platform easier.
I used the left side to launch all the time at the ramps I am at. You can put it on the right if you would like. You can get on platform easy from either side. The mesh runs all the way across the front. But like I said I get on and off from the left side. This way I can pull kayak to bank.
Nick just delivered a trailer to me last week in Alabama. Great trailer! Enjoy your content.
Good deal. Thank you sir, I appreciate it.
I just emailed FTX about getting a trailer similar to yours but I’d like the side rack to hold a Yakima rod holder instead of the second yak. I told them in the email I liked yours and dropped your page name so he knows yours influenced me.
Good deal. Yes Nick will do whatever you want. Thank you.
Hey buddy how's you doing man? Ryan that is a very very nice kayak trailer that Nick Build for you man. I really like the color man. I thought your truck was black & the trailer too. I didn't know that it was a blue color & i saw the difference colors of the trailer & your Storage box on the trailer. I really like your cat walk on the trailer man. That is really nice cuz you can keep your shoes dry until you get barefooted 👣. You don't see trailer like that man. I also like the tire size too cuz i want a tire that can run 75 mph down the interstates cuz i do a lot of interstates driving. This was a good video man. Thanks you for sharing this.
Thanks buddy. I don’t think I will be barefoot for a while yet. Still pretty cold. But yes trailer came out nice. Catch you soon.
I have a PA 14 and looking for options. I like your concept. Are you still using the trailer as I thought you went to a custom trailer you built. If I am incorrect, my apology. Thank you for the posts. I really enjoy your content.
Not using this one anymore. I am using the utility trailer I just set up. I will be adding lights this weekend to that trailer. Will be posting a video about lights soon.
Great video! Thanks! Is there a reason you chose to put the side rack on the same side as the walking area down the passenger side? Does it get in your way at all?
It’s something to hold onto and help get onto trailer. Like a handrail. Nick designed this one. It doesn’t get in the way, at least for me.
What brand and model is that aluminum box on the front of the trailer? I ordered a trailer from Nick last week and am thinking of changing from the yakima plastic box to an aluminum one similar to what you have. Do you have any feedback on yours? Likes/dislikes? Thanks
Here is the box

As far as the box it is fine. Better than plastic. The trailer all I can say is order one to haul as many as you can. Nick’s trailers are good but I went back to a utility trailer so I can haul 3-4 kayaks. I modified it. I just did a video not too long ago for it.
How did it ride down the road, was the kayak bouncing much? I have a blue sky that’s 48 wide, double pontoons and about 320 lb loaded. My main launch ramp has a drop off about 6 inches can you tell me the distance from the ground to the lowest point on the rear of the trailer? If you’re busy I can call the builder. Thanks and very well done video 👍
I am on the water right now. No kayak won’t bounce. The 6 inch drop shouldn’t be a problem. I can probably measure in the morning when I am at the shop. Don’t have trailer with me today.
@@rjmfishtales thanks for the quick response 👍
