@@ararinhaazul7Its way less important on lower floors, but it is just that the stat boosts and whatnot *aren't* doubled when there are dupes. The higher your class level, the bigger of a difference this doubling makes, so on f7 and beyond (and maybe f6 as well), it is a huge deal to try and minimize dupes, especially for super high dps classes like archer. At least for me (being a cata 33 player on f7), the only classes that dupes are generally fine with are mage and healer. With mage, you dont expressely need the intelligence boost that the class gives, and (as far as I know at least) healer doesnt give any particularly important stats. Every other class is either tank being you only want 1 or your dps will fall like crazy, and arch/bers being boosted very strongly by having the doubled stat boost and whatever for their passives.
For new players, berserker, tank and healer are probably the classes that are most beginner friendly. Archer is way too heavily contested and is strict on having a juju/terminator, and mage just has too low of ehp and is challenging to survive, not to mention the poor armor/weapon progression. On the other hand, berserker is relatively easy, fun and has all round purpose, Tank is cheap to get into and is very easy early on, and healer requires no specific gear at all, not to mention you’re a big help to your team at the same time. Wouldn’t recommend healer however, because before master mode it really doesn’t have a place in the meta. Berserker is my overall favorite, but it largely depends on playstyle preference.
At the end, in master mode it doesnt matter! The armor for all classes: necron with maxor boots + diamond head + term + gdrag!! only the m7 and m6 boss playstyle is different!!
rip true bers (i tried hard to play bers in master mode but in M6 true bers just becomes impossible because of a lack of dps in boss (more like term is overpowered ))
my suggestion? mage/bers from f1-f4, ranged bers on f5, tank on f6-f7. why tank in f6-f7? because A: you can buy a clear set so you aren't useless during clear B: you can use that clear set to switch between classes if there is a better tank in the party C: tanks are generally very high in demand for these floors, so a competent one is usually always accepted the only downside is needing more coins to buy a goldor set and learning tank and dps strats instead of just your necron which isn't much of a downside.
I can confirm and attest to this, since this is exactly what I have done since F5, all the way to being cata 33. I am a tank main, but I have the weapons to play any class but mage (though all im missing for mage is a hype). Because of this, it is insanely easy for me to enter basically any f7 parties since theyre all tank starved, and if there already happens to be a tank, I just immediately switch to another class that I can play. And for the price stuff, at least for me, I first bought semi-maxed out goldors, and then got a full set of maxors arnor since it was like 40m cheaper than necron's. If you dont have quite as much money, this would probably be a fairly good tradeoff for having significantly less dps, but also having to spend way less. And anyways, if you want to get a full set of necron's, you can always just convert your maxors into it like I did.
yeah, the classes still need some more balancing. I think healer's main abilities should be giving buffs instead of healing. And the way I think archer should be balanced is controversial, but I think they should fire less arrows, without sacrificing dps. Maybe by reworking doubleshot and nerfing bonus attack speed. Bows are supposed to be snipers after all, not machine guns.
i'd say archer works the best when moving into master mode, but can be decent outside of dungeons as well with even a clean terror armor (but it has to be terror armor or you're making archer do almost 4x less dps) bers just works for dungeons, but you'll need a completely different build when doing non-dungeon content like slayers, at least stuff like necron will work on revs and svens since crimson swipe doesn't affect these mage works best when moving outside of dungeons, however the best weapon set looks different outside and inside, ehp is also actually really good when you get refrigerate on your goggles, granting you +1000 defense. mage can also dominate normal dungeons way better than archer, but master mode becomes more scuffed until you get an LCM setup... also honestly when i used sceptre on f7, i really didn't find any issues as cata 30, so saying that hype is necessary is just bullcrap that party finder came up with
"hyp or term or else kick" usually those parties kick you because they're immediately assuming "no hyp = monkey" because people with hyp are generally more skilled I understand that there are terrible hypmages (me for example) and crack ass sceptre mages but they're ultimately a minority. If you see a hyp, you grab it and put it into your party.

always start with healer you dont die and can revive others u literally just play as other classes but u get useful abilities and all you need is a crystalized heart this is easily the easiest way to start ngl

@@AJgignac with maxors boots and tuning on speed (which u should be using as a tank in f7) u easily reach 350-400 spd at the start of the run, so ammonite 220 spd are completely useless, but with black cat, u can get to 500 spd which is 100 more than what ammonite is capped to
I true bers, when i clear i just hold down left click on the ground while running and holsing my gs, its mich easier than spam clicking cuz of bers swing range perk or whatever its called

I believe is one of the best classes to play due to no one playing it. with a high cata you one tap anyways so for me to play archer is unnecessary. Every party i join appreciate me letting them solo their class. and like i said being able to get into almost every single party is a high plus for the class. but i wont argue that the class it self is weak. but every other pro outweigh this con in my opinion.
no, archer does more dps than mage and bers together, its why typical split in m7 p5 is arch + tank kill one drag when bers + mage + healer kill the other

this is kinda off topic but the entire master mode really needs class rebalancing (how is it possible true bers isnt viable in M7) because its pretty stale right now
Mage is good as it is but there should be a budget hyperion that does like 1/5th of hyperion's damage so playing F7 as mage without hyperion isnt as hard and annoying as it is right now (maybe as a very rare soulbound scroll for the adaptive blade in M2 ) Bers should have a toggle to disable the weapon master perk against specific mobs When the toggle is on for that mob the weapon master perk frontal cone hits the mob If its turned off your hits will trigger fero but wont have the weapon master frontal cone Example : if you want fero against SA you turn off the toggle for sa if you want to have the weapon master frontal cone against like zombie soldiers then you need to turn on the toggle on zombie soldiers Tank should have more debuff items like Last breath so they can do more than just tanking Healer should be a healing class and buff the damage/ehp of their teammates I'm not sure how we can balance archer without doing a big nerf ok thats all i wanted to say
honestly for me healer is the funnest class because even tho im not in m7 yet, nearly all parties im in expect healer to predev which honestly is the highlight of the dungeon personally.

Something I like doing as a tank is using ammonite pet for clear and the f7 boss because of the speed and defense (would not recommend in master mode)
