I've never used an actual tenkara rod, but i fished the Mora River and other Pecos wilderness streams using my ultralight flyrod as a tenkara. Its tons of fun to use ultra light gear, and microscopic flies to catch mountain trout for dinner! That sure is an interesting fishing hole between buildings with a fountain! Oh, and "got one" is just your line. Own it. I think mine is "got 'eem" Its not dorky to catch sommany fish your reactions become repetitive....thats the stuff of dreams, like counting sheep to sleep Got one.... got one....got one...😴
I haven't done nearly enough trout fishing with my Tenkara rods! It's a pretty far drive to the nearest good trout stream, but I'm planning to do much more of it next year. I've got light rods, but also heavy rods that can handle steelhead and king salmon :) "Got one!" is just what comes out of my mouth - it's entirely involuntary. I wish I could change it, but I think you're right - maybe I'll just own it. Thanks for watching!
Looking frward to the musky chase! 🤩
It's already on! Only a matter of time 💯
