- So my brothers decided it would be funny to do an exact replica of my mission call... and scary enough, it looked EXACTLY like a normal mission call except it said "called to serve in the mordor, mount doom mission".... they are pros. I Don't know how they got me so good.

Pure comedic genius. LMAO 😂
I hope the family framed these side by side. ❤️
She looks PISSED.
That's awesome! That's where I served! Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Cheboygan, Caro, and Ludington.
Me too. I served in West Jackson, Grand Rapids, Portage (Kalamazoo), West Lansing, Mt. Pleasant, St. John's, West Jackson again, and Cheboygan.
Funny.....but harsh. What a mission reveal party. So funny......
HA, GOTEEM, U JUST GOT, PRANKED BRO
I love it!
Remember one does not simply walk into Mordor
Great video!
Had me in tears. So funny! Congrats on your real call! But serving in middle earth would have been so cool.
BAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! I know where my sister's getting called now.
I would be like: Welp, time to preach the Gospel in the Black Tongue of Mordor i guess, gotta convert those Orcs and diminish the influence of Sauron the Accursed in the arid plains of Gorgoroth and Barad-dûr.
That was my mission too! Even though this is an old video now, I still enjoyed watching it and I hope she enjoyed her mission.
It would have really been something if your real call was to New Zealand, where the LOTR movies were filmed!
She reported on my birthday! :D
My brother reports that day but he's going to Boston! Congrats!
Excellent Boston rocksssss. College girls are hottest in Boston.
Why are some being sent to different states, but others are being sent to other countries for two years?
Men are called for 2 years, women for 18 months. Whether you get foreign or state-side is pretty much based on the revelation given to church leaders about where you serve.
Saint Christopher I happened to serve where my dad served. When he served there were thousands of missionaries worldwide and only 10 elders in his mission. When I served there were nearly 50,000 missionaries worldwide and only about 100 elders in my mission. So doing the math, there was a 0.00025% chance, or 1 in 247,000 that we both get called to that specific area.
I happen work with random number generators often, so I can say with some credibility that those numbers are next to impossible to randomly generate.
Now here’s a question for you: what’re the chances that you reply about random number generators to a person who happens to be an expert in random number generators?
... also, I know people who’ve been involved in the process of choosing where missionaries go, so I can tell you it isn’t a computer that chooses. Buuuut I had more fun telling you that using statistics :)
Hi Lydia, I'm a reporter with the Idaho Statesman in Boise. I think a lot of our readers would get a kick out of this prank -- I was hoping I might have your permission to use the video on our newspaper's website. Any chance you could email me at nblanchard@idahostatesman.com and let me know what you think? Thanks for the laugh! -Nicole
Have a good one.🤤💌🤤
I love it!!!
