So Hadley Fraser can harmonize perfectly after very little to no preparation yet forgets the words to a song that he's sung hundreds of times. An absolute icon :)
I think it's because he didn't start off the song.. You know, sometimes there's a rhythm that we tend to follow to remember certain things. It messes the rhythm (and to recall) when suddenly he needed to start in the middle of the song. Imo I think that's the reason he couldn't recall the words to the song.
Oh, but he does it in such an endearing manner...I love a performer who doesn’t seem to take themselves too seriously... and IDKW, but every time I listen to this bromance performance, I soon forget about his little laughter and get the chills when they harmonize so beautifully! Props to the pianist. (S)he is clearly trailing back and supporting the vocal decisions. It is just a beat of rubato back behind the harmony here but neveretheless enforcing a disciplined yet dramatic march tempo. Thank you for your continuous love and support ❤
I'm so in love with everything about this video
I love these two...we were so blessed to have had then on the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables and Phantom of the opera with my favorite christine Sierra Boggess.
Thank you for your continuous love and support ❤
@@hadleyfraser9281 Thank you for sharing your art.. ❤❤ I saw you in Les Misérables the movie and was clapping like a fool in the movie theater. Lol...
[ARMY OFFICER (from beyond the barricade)]
You at the barricade listen to this
The people of Paris sleep in their beds
You have no chance, no chance at all
Why throw your lives away?
I shouted.. "Yes!!! Hadley Fraser!!.
@@valentinogal781 Thank you so much for the kind words and how long have you been a fan.
I can't believe they're both going to sing this again this year!! How I wish I could see them live 😢
I was there! 😍 After watching this video hundreds of times I still can't believe I heard them live in Trieste! It was fabulous!!! 🥹🥰🥰
Ramin hits nots I have not heard before in this song, after they are not making mistakes they pull off about the best vocals possible on this very difficult song. Bravo
*Hadley
I just LOVE THIS! These guys who could very well be all serious, yet are just down to earth, not full of themselves, and made something that will go down in history...perfectly imperfect!
No ego's here!
Love them both so much. Ramin always amazes me bc he says that he cannot read music, but they can harmonize so well.
This is probably my favourite video on the internet ;)
I first saw Hadley in a cameo in a crime drama, years ago. I don't know why I Googled him but I did, then I found this video.... omg... such a magnificent voice, such power. And all of it so, seemingly, effortless!
The magic of Ramin and Hadley in this video is just too incredible!
I'll admit that I come here, at least once a week, to enjoy the amazing friendship and mutual respect that they share. Ramin and Hadley are great individually, but together, they are a force of nature.
That's one of the best duets Ever. I listen to them over and over, Sigh
Ramin is too good for this earth
How charming was Hadley's chuckle?? It was so endearing.
When Hadley starts harmonizing? My heart literally spasms. Sheer utter beauty. Not gonna lie I was crying by the end.
Thank you for your continuous love and support 🧡
I still go back and watch this over and over. Just makes me smile watching their camaraderie! Love those two!
I could watch this everyday. Gives me shivers ever time. I love the harmonisation.. 😊
I've watched this everyday, too. The most beautiful voices and harmonization. Very powerful, and yes, I get goose bump every time time. And as nonchalant as Hadley is, you can see the music flowing from him so effortlessly.
@@jonnievl55 I agree. 2 amazing voices . What a talent.
love that arent trying to out sing each other and that they are working together and its just so beautiful
one of the rare videos that I wheeze laughing at the beginning and then find myself crying halfway through when they became serious-
Thank you for sharing - love Hadley and Ramin - hoping they release an album soon!
I would be first in line buying that.
themistressladyg I'll be next! Can't wait to see him in January. Maybe he'll bring Hadley.........😍
wightrider66 How old Are you??
That's it I've been blessed. I can go to sleep peacefully now. goodnight!
okay but, why is nobody talking about Ramin’s hand on Hadley’s back?
the time stamp is 4:03
like, they’re such a beautiful BROTP🥺
EXACTLY OKAY I LOVE THIS BROTP
I noticed it too 😍
It's really a challenge to sing this sad song in the midst of such cheers and after such laughs. Real skills in emotion control
I love how everyone just naturally stayed silent when they really started getting into it.
First of all the quality of this is sooo good (crystal clear & steady hand). Their voices are amazing. I love the banter too.
I have to watch this everyday.
4:55 the audio got so good for ramins last line
akshfkjashfkhsajh the stuff up at the beginning was so cute that it made me put my guard down for the rest of the video... and then the harmonies happened and ohhhhh shiiiitttt! that was so good!! asdkfhakjshf ahhhh
The most amazing duet I've ever heard. Ramin first voice, Hadley second. I cannot hear ECAET again withough imagining their voices and Hadley's harmonies ever again. His concentration is amazing. ❤👏❤👏 Even my mother, who understands little English but has heard the song, was rendered speechless.
Also, regarding Hadley forgetting the lyrics, come on, it was clearly a joke. They have both been through such a training that it's integrated in them by now. And they have rehearsed it before the gig.
3:14 : Ramin: awwwwyeahhhhhhh
I hadn't even heard of these guys about a month ago, and since then I've watched this clip about 50 times!
I have met Ramin Karimloo!! I met him when he was playing Gleb at Broadway, he gave me a fist bump
This is one of my fav clips on TH-cam. It was such a beautiful moment, not only their voices, looks, but also the friendship and brotherly chemicals. I could watch this for a thousand tines❤️.
There's a grief that can't be spoken,
There's a pain goes on and on.
Empty chairs at empty tables,
Now my friends are dead and gone.
Here they talked of revolution,
Here it was they lit the flame,
Here they sang about tomorrow and tomorrow never came.
From the table in the corner,
They could see a world reborn,
And they rose with voices ringing,
And I can hear them now
The very words that they have sung
Became their last communion
On this lonely barricade, at dawn.
Oh my friends, my friends forgive me
That I live and you are gone
There's a grief that can't be spoken,
And there's a pain goes on and on
Phantom faces at the window,
Phantom shadows on the floor,
Empty chairs at empty tables where my friends will meet no more.
Oh my friends, my friends don't ask me
What your sacrifice was for
Empty chairs at empty tables
Where my friend will sing no more.
I came here only to see what was the word that i kept hearing as "Phantom"
But i will admit i was kinda expecting you to put Phantom aswell 😂😂😂
Hauntingly beautiful.
I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I watch this video just for the part where Hadley messes up
3:18 Hadley almost cries from that note. Awesome
and so do we
when Ramin and Hadley harmonize at 405 and continue harmonizing so beautiful! they should harmonize together more and sing together more as well and their friendship is also so beautiful and heartwarming ! I see great continuing broadway careers for these two extremely multi talented performers! thanks for posting!
