Have a similar tick and its probably lifters but we found a peice of manfold broke where it meets the exhaust
Edit: we are missing the anti knock sensor on the rear of engine. We think its a maybe as well. They dont make them anymore.

Thanks for the advise. Sorry to hear about the missing knock sensor. I'm going to pull the valve covers off and adjust the lifters. Never done it before so it should be a treat.

Was there a significant difference in the before and after?

I did the fuel filter a few days before the rest of it and that made a bit of a difference. Otherwise, no, not really.
