I wish you and TH-cam would have been around when I was younger, you really knock it out of the park with your demonstrations and explanations and the way you make it relatable.
I think another thing that helps is after you flick, you suck your legs up as high as you can to allow the board a little more time to flip and rotate. I always would flip fine and miss because I’d catch it too early so I made a conscious effort of bringing me feet as high as I could.
I think it is a good looking trick. I learned heelflips in a bank and I used a front side motion to learn them, without coming all the way around. Then I once I had the heelflip motion then I corrected it back straight. But now I am going to try and learn the front side heel, again I think I will go back to the bank so I can cheat it a bit on the roll up.
My biggest issue with this trick is that I can get the 180 and heel flip almost every time, but the board fly's in front of me. I figured this was because I lean back. However, when I stay center with the board, I can't get enough flip and I land on the board upside down with my feet landing on my trucks. (Bad for the ankles haha). Both my heelflip and front side 180's are good.
We're stuck in the same part dude, I tried moving my front foot a little bit down to get a faster flick and it seems like is gonna work, I just need to practice more.
I started trying these out without learning from anything and they seemed to feel reeeally good once I got the hang of it and landed a couple of sketchy ones. I think your advice is going to go a long way here, thanks for the trick tips!
Holy Cow!!! I did not see this video coming. Thank you for making this!!! This is one of my favorite tricks to do. I find it way easier to front heel and frontside flip. Does anyone else feel that way?
Lucas Puig has an interesting feet positioning for the switch version. his front foot's really high on the board. completely over the bolts, almost on the nose (or tail) with toes hanging out a lot
This one has definitely been a pain for me. Cant say I’ve 100% landed it but when I do “land” them it’s like both feet on the tail end you just whipped around and my knees are so sucked up into my chest for this movement when I “land” it it’s like I’m squatting looking for something on a super low shelf in the supermarket. But because it happens so fast in that jumping motion I usually fall back over on my butt after catching and landing. Same kinda goes for frontside kickflips too except I’ve actually rolled 2 of those away, they flip muska style, and my foot position for the landing is bout the same for the fs heel
Thats crazy. I just learnt my first front side heelflip like 3 days ago. I can do them switch like nothing. But in my regular stance... never thought id land one. But I have to put my front flick foot more at a point, toes point a little upward.
I always hated this trick I don't understand why I could never get the hang of them I can fs flip and bs heel every try but this trick has always been a nightmare.
Im so stupid im trynig to learn fs heel but always just did fs 180 while doing a heelfip never tough you actually varial heelflip when doing a fs heel, Im getting decent at varial heels maybe this way i can learn fs heelflip easier!
I hate all the stupid videos where the pros try and summarize a trick with like 2 tips and try to make you feel like it's all it takes. It would just leave me feeling like a loser cuz I couldn't get it with the least amount of information possible
You talk in a way that really helps to understand, other videos waste so much time, but you just talk skating. I love it
You're kidding right?
That is one of the best, most natural looking fs heelflips I've ever seen.
(def one of my favorites tricks)
Thanks, I’m just not used to doing a 180 fliptrick that doesn’t catch itself halfway around. Maybe one day

this is a fun one. I learned these before heels so don't over think them.
how
@@7renxh cause i knew how to varial heel so front heels weren't that different just rotating a little bit
Same bruh

I love these videos! They’re so in depth and you really cover the trick. Thanks for these❤️

bro i didnt realize this is what you were filming this whole time when i see you at parks 😂 this is so sick
Blake Carpenter inspired me to learn this trick a few years ago but I lost fs heels after knee surgery of course along with 60 percent of my tricks
I started trying these out without learning from anything and they seemed to feel reeeally good once I got the hang of it and landed a couple of sketchy ones. I think your advice is going to go a long way here, thanks for the trick tips!
The hooking motion has helped me so much
Thank you been needing this for a while I always land primo when I commit when I don’t commit I will always get the rotation and timing
Holy Cow!!! I did not see this video coming. Thank you for making this!!! This is one of my favorite tricks to do. I find it way easier to front heel and frontside flip. Does anyone else feel that way?

Literally searched for this video on your page yesterday, thanks😭😭
You look like Gündogan! Furthermore, nice video!
great videos though its helping a lot much love FROM VA
Literally was trying these earlier today !!!
Your front heel is perfect
I just landed my first Heelflip!! So much more satisfying than the kickflip imo
I think they are too but they are sketch down stairs and kickflips feel more natural .
@@MIKE2111ful it’s all different lmao. Some ppl find heels natural and others kickies 🤣
@Reds By sketch I meant scary not necessarily ugly
this was sick thanks and ur trick is landed so good.
Just rolled my ankle trying this today and it showed in my recommendations right after.😳
Those fs heels are beautiful af
This kinda like the hardest of the 'normal' advanced flip tricks i feel
Should you do the heelflip and then turn, or just do it all at once?
Dude what a grat channel u have!... Con u teach a flip backtail please! I need it 🥺 hahah. Greating from Chile! 🇨🇱 🤜🏼🤛🏼
my back hurts when trying this before but now im used to it
Thanks for the video i was starting to loose them

I love this trick which is weird since people think I am weird for doing this
Looks good to me. I like the fs halfcab heel too.
Loved the video keep it up!!
I use to have these on lock 20yrs ago. Now the board catches on my shoe when flicking it.
I struggle to get a high pop with this trick even though I heelflip and front 180 quite high
i love this one
can you do a video on back heelflips next if u can
I’ve done that one
How did you get your tricks so consitent on flat do you set apart like 5 hours a day doing flat?
your frontheels look sick I don't know what you mean bro
Nollie backside 360 bigspin or inward heelflip or double flips

Вот это нихуя себе, попробовал сделать этот трюк а случайно сделал fs under heel
Im so stupid im trynig to learn fs heel but always just did fs 180 while doing a heelfip never tough you actually varial heelflip when doing a fs heel,
Im getting decent at varial heels maybe this way i can learn fs heelflip easier!
Very strange feeling trick. Fs flips are easier for me
