Omg ...im one of the lucky ones. I started my labour at 11 pm . Slept through it and woke up in the morning with contractions that were feeling mild and very little painful. I went to hospital at 9 am and was 6 cm dilated . Had my baby at 11pm after a slow-ish progress,no pain relief what so ever and only pushed for 20 minutes to give birth to my son. Had a first degree tear from pushing to hard 'apparently '. I'm left with a fatter belly but no stretch marks and I have a wonderful 2 year old boy . Loved your labour and birth video! I've had 2 kids and I'm pregnant with my third, I'm 27. My first experience I had an epidural and diamorphine. It was horrendous. That baby was 7 lbs 12 oz. The second time I had no pain meds and it was amazing! That baby was 6 lbs 9 oz. I think pain meds severely impact the body's natural ability to know when to push at the right time and feel all the sensations you need to feel to bond with your baby correctly. God only knows what my third baby will have in store for me! Xx

@@mtt4254 if they don't place the epidural juuuuuuust precisely in your back it's like this. I just don't think the anesthesiologists want to admit they didn't do it properly and nobody wants to ever redo it.
Fina Armania hit the nail on the head. My last birth was a c section and the student anaesthetist missed 3 times and they kept me waiting until the head anaesthetist came in and he got it in straight away. I had nerve damage almost immediately following recovery, they didn’t inform me or write this down though and luckily my partner was watching them the entire time.

I had 3 epidurals and none worked felt everything! Had a long labor and had a 3rd degree tear 😣only good thing was that I pushed max 30 minutes and she was out but I can still feel everything 😫 specially when my 9.2 lb baby tore me . I look at her now and I don’t regret anything ❤️
The nipple shield is the best! I used one with my son for the first 6 months or so. It makes the transition into bottle so much easier. I got shit from some people saying it’s not the right way to breastfeed but my boy ended up not wanting it after awhile and I breastfed him until 14 months so just so what works for you. Congratulations Arrow is beautiful 🖤
It depends per person how well the epidural works and also sometimes even how the doctor puts it in. I did not feel anything except a bit of pressure in my back where I had most of my contractions. I absolutely loved it!! (I already had contractions for 20 hours at that point so it was a relief for me)
Right? And without numbing like why would they do that uuuuggh I don't want that oh hell no. I'm less scared of the birth and ripping than I am of needes and stitches.
Love following your story and how detailed you share everything. I’m due in May so I’m sort of soaking up info from ppl here n there aaaaand let’s see how my birth story will turn out! 🙂🙌🏼 peace ✌🏽

I'm just at the same situation, they said my baby is now (34 weeks) 4 pounds...and my belly looks massive!!!! even bigger than hers, now I'm worried! I height 4'9"
I also started using a shield to feed my baby because he was having trouble eating. Are you going to try to wean her off of the shield? I’ve been trying to do that and it’s been a little difficult.
So amazing that u managed 2 push her out urself after all that time and even tho she was so big! My baby was early and only 4lbs 13oz but after pushing for hours they had to cut me and pull him while I pushed 😖 all was well though he is 6 years old now!xxx
Honestly, I watched your birth clog and I committed to watching the whole thing because I get kind of squeamish seeing others in pain-and you did AHMAZING. Considering everything you had to deal with, I applaud you. I’m not as afraid of birth anymore. You did so amazingly well even with all the pain. This video was also very light and honest and thank you for sharing! Your daughter is lucky!
I used to watch your videos such a long time ago and for some reason I just stopped but I got your pregnancy video on my recommended and OMG I HAD NO IDEA YOU HAD A BABY GIRL I can’t believe it still but congratulations Brittany she’s adorable! you’re going to be the best mom ❤️
Thank you so much for your brutal honesty , graphic description and grace of an angel whilst doing this video. I will stick to just my two dogs with my partner. Will book appointment to have my tubes tied !!
My son was 9.1lbs and my experience was very similar to yours! Thought he MIGHT be 8 pounds. And my epidural only numbed from my knees down😒 I hope you're both doing well and y'all stay healthy! Congrats!
My first labour was identical to yours, pushed for hours, had an epidural but you can still feel a lot. I could feel the babies head down their for an hour. I was quite shocked and scared after i had my first but then went on to have 3 more and it was so different, the births were so much easier and so less scary. I didnt need any pain relief on the others as the labours were so much shorter. I have a low pain tolerance.
Congratulations!! My son was 9.5lbs. I had a long labor, 42hrs. I received the epidural after 36hrs and thank God because I had a 4th degree tear and an episiotomy. 😉 the epidural didn’t work well but was definitely helpful!! That was 8 years ago. For my second in 2015 we chose a c-section and was 8lbs...currently pregnant with my 3rd and It’s hard to decide!!
Congratulations, I guess August is a baby girl month, because everyone I know and came across are having girls😂 and have you used the ball? It really helps to get the baby lower by bouncing on it and rotating your hips in both directions. Good luck, blessings to you and your baby girl!❤️❤️❤️
I love your honesty and how this blog feels like I'm sitting down with a friend ❤️ thank you for all the great info and honesty! Congratulations to your family
That's interesting about the epidural. I've had 2 babies and both times, my epidural worked almost...too well. Lol like I couldn't lift my legs at all because they were numb. Lol I could feel nothing. Couldn't even feel when to push, I had to watch the monitor to see when the contractions were to push. Haha crazy how it effects people differently!
I have a few family members who are anesthesiologists and I was actually told being completely numb and not feeling anything is a BAD epidural. Apparently you’re supposed to have some sensation so you know when to push. I would guess extreme pain from pressure is also not a perfect epidural. My experience was similar to yours, epidural took all of the contraction pain away but the pressure was almost unbearable.
Thank you so much for sharing! Not everything goes smoothly like we think it will but at least you girls are healthy and doing well 🙏 Congrats and enjoy every single second!
My first baby (I have 5 now!) weighed 9lbs 7oz. I pushed for over 2 hours and I feel for you!!! Thankfully my next 4 babies were all smaller and easier.
You are so funny. Thanks for sharing. I'm due in Feb. and trying to get a better idea of what labor is going to be like. Good or bad. It's good to hear the negatives to have some mental preparation.
Congratulations!! She is gorgeous 😍. I had a 9.4pound boy. I couldn’t feel anything because the nurses turned my gas dial higher than legal in our country. So I was goneee.
I tore also & got stitches but I didn’t realize i tore til after baby was out.. and my babe also had meconium which also had me concerned. Congrats mama ✨
I am watching this 32 wks pregnant and thinking wow u are amazing!!!!!! Congrats!! Thank you for sharing your story. Sorry you went thru so much pain :( but happy you and baby are well and healthy!
Loving your channel! I think this’ll make you feel better: my mom’s first baby was about the same size as your daughter, and she pushed for three hours. Her second baby was about a pound lighter and came out in like three pushes. So if you’re planning on having more kids, the path has been paved well, so hopefully you’ll have an easier time next time!
You both look absolutely adorable rest and heal well 💋If everything works as planed I will give birth in October I m scared but excited and will be absolutely relieved to push my girl out cuz it’s getting really tough recently again.
Your story is so similar to my mom's with me! She was (is lol) 5'4" and weight 110 lbs pre-baby. I came out weighing 10lbs 2oz and the epidural did very little for her; she said that, by the end of it, she was frozen up to her armpits (I guess 30 years ago, they administered epidural meds a little differently), but could still feel a ton of pressure and was still in quite a bit of pain. Glad you and Arrow are doing well :)
Ahh ! She’s so precious 😭 I’m 6 days away from our due date with my first , super excited , nervous, definitely a lot of feels going on but congratulations to you and yours 💜😘
I had my first baby about 6 months ago and she ended up tearing me from one hole to the other. Your description of it feeling like a lot paper cuts is so accurate.
I was induced at 41 weeks as well and got the epidural and felt nothing, they gave me a button to push for more drugs. You’re amazing girl I can’t imagine having such a big baby with being able to feel it
Lol...my epidural worked on one damn side!! Doc called it a "window, of pain. Felt like the entire left side was not numb..so more like a door id say..lmao Second baby same..third i said nope bc all it does is cause me back issues for a year at least. 3rd baby came faster with no pain management i pushed her out in 5 minutes. But a 9 pound baby!!! Omg my hats off to you.
I just had my baby girl on May 9th, I had a very similar experience to you!! she swallowed meconium aswell, I was so upset that I couldn’t do skin to skin and they took her away immediately. Because of covid we couldn’t visit the nursery to see her, it was a good 5 hours before I even got to look at my babies face :’( I also had the same type of internal tearing, I am grateful as I know a women who had the highest degree and that sounds awful. My baby Arielle is healthy and even though I was TERRIFIED of birth, I wouldn’t take it back. she is SO worth it ❤️
I’m not pregnant and dont plan to be anytime soon, but I love following your baby journey🙈 Most likely since I have been a follower for god knows how many years!!If anyone can be as brutally honest and down-to-earth people wouldnt be so scared of this 🙈 Congratulations again you guys, and I am so excited to follow the rest of your little family journey 🥰

I'm only on my 2nd week post it's like I'm 6 months preggo still lol but I'm not ashamed or stressed about my bump. So happy to have my little one it's so worth the change!! Thanks for sharing your journey!! ❤
congratulations on having your baby 🤱 i am currently 34 weeks pregnant and I'm scared and terrified of the day I will have to deliver the baby but somehow seeing you went through it like a champ gives me a lot of hope 💪💪
Don't feel bad, I pushed for 4 hours too. My baby was face up and he kept getting sucked back in like a vacuum. He also had meconium, but luckily all ended well.
I had the same problem with the epidural working everywhere EXCEPT the catheter. With my 1st baby, when I got the epidural, I thought it was going to numb everything from the belly down but the catheter I could feel and it was pretty painful! I kept asking the nurses why that was happening so they kept turning me to my left and right and it didn’t help. Super strange! Baby #2 due in 2 weeks now so we’ll see if it happens again 🥴
Do you think having endometriosis helped you with the labor pains? Like, did you have a stronger pain tolerance because you were so used to that excruciating pain? That's what my mom has always said to me because I have had terrible endometriosis for 18 years now.
I know for me the recovery process was the hardest and the most painful. I actually pushed for 5 minutes and my baby girl was out. I did have to get induced and my water broke right when my Obgyn walked in to break it. The epidural worked great and than 10 before I hit 10 cm I started feeling all the cramps and I did not realize that I had a button I had to push that would let more of the medicine in. We called the nurse and told her I was in a lot of pain, she pushed the button and within 5 minutes all my pain went away and the nurse said you are ready to go. It was for me such a smooth process and went so quick. Its so different for us all because I had imagined this horror story for my delivery and it was the complete opposite. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Wow, I’m 5’5” and started out at 126lbs before I got pregnant, I hope I can push my baby out naturally. You’re baby is very beautiful btw, I’ll be going in to be induced on August 13 to have my baby boy
I got induced too. My rectal pressure was insane with an epidural too. And after FIVE HOURS of pushing they wanted me to do a c-section. So they gave me a booster of epidural. After rolling through the OR doors I felt like I REALLY needed to push so they were just like sure whatever makes you feel better. And she emerged! The relief was amazing, pretty sure that’s why I cried, not just from seeing my daughter lmao

I love how honest and hilarious you are with the truth!
(I already had contractions for 20 hours at that point so it was a relief for me)
My baby girl is due in October and now I CANT WAIT!
Congratulations, my husband and I just had our baby girl...Praying for a successful and healthy baby girl!❤️❤️❤️
I’m due oct 2nd and so anxious for my baby to be here!
I’m
October 1st!!!
I had to pause after 10:36 because I started to feel light-headed. I'm not pregnant, I'm just terrified. Girl you are strong af.
!!!! I’ve been following for a long time. Can’t believe you have a baby!! Congratulations!
very strong mama! so glad you and your baby are safe and happy now❤️ sounds traumatizing and i’m so sorry your experience was so difficult! like you said every journey is unique!!
You’re doing great! Glad to know you’re both healthy ❤️ being a new mom is a hard job but it’ll get easier with time.
Omg congratulations! She is so cute!😍 my husband and I just celebrated the life of our baby girl on the 6th this month. Once again congratulations!!!❤️❤️❤️ Everyone that’s currently pregnant, praying for a successful and healthy birth🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️
I’ve been watching your channel for years now, and seeing you with a baby makes me smile! So happy for you and your family! ❤️❤️
With that belly I definitely didn't expect a small baby!
I'm just at the same situation, they said my baby is now (34 weeks) 4 pounds...and my belly looks massive!!!! even bigger than hers, now I'm worried! I height 4'9"
Maybe it is true... Beautiful people make beautiful babies❤Welcome to the world Arrow!
**vlog
@@dropDeadLoveli Did she delete her birth vlog??? I cannot find it
I used to watch your videos such a long time ago and for some reason I just stopped but I got your pregnancy video on my recommended and OMG I HAD NO IDEA YOU HAD A BABY GIRL I can’t believe it still but congratulations Brittany she’s adorable! you’re going to be the best mom ❤️
Aghhh been waiting for this as I'm 20 weeks pregnant and love listening to everyone's experiences your glowing, arrow is so cute xx
Congratulations! Are you having a boy or girl?
@@MACWAY6 thankyou so much im having a boy 🥰
Could you do a postpartum video? 😭
Wow same with me with the epidural! I felt everything!! Just had my girl on 6/5- she was 8 lb 5 oz!
She’s so beautiful! Glad you’re doing well, mama! Can’t wait to see her included in all of your future videos! 💕
I’m 38 weeks and can’t wait for my baby girl to come. I’m currently having so many contractions
Congratulations, I guess August is a baby girl month, because everyone I know and came across are having girls😂 and have you used the ball? It really helps to get the baby lower by bouncing on it and rotating your hips in both directions. Good luck, blessings to you and your baby girl!❤️❤️❤️
TVSQUARED due 26th August and having a boy!
Alyssia Shale due 8/25 and am having a boy ☺️💚
You're a natural mom. Good luck to you!
Omg! I’m so happy you finally have her in your arms, she’s so cute. ❤️🤩 I am due in less than six weeks... and man am i nervous!!!!
Congratulations! I am small too and my daughter was 10lbs 3! That was a shock!
I can’t wait to see more vlogs with you and Arrow
Same!
God your baby is so cute! I’m so happy for you 🥳 congrats on a healthy babyyyyyyyy
Thank you for sharing! Congratulations!!
I am watching this 32 wks pregnant and thinking wow u are amazing!!!!!! Congrats!! Thank you for sharing your story. Sorry you went thru so much pain :( but happy you and baby are well and healthy!
Omg 4 hours, that’s a really long time, you must have been exhausted, welcome to labor and delivery
Also 6 days away from due date. We're almost there!
Kaylee Daniels omg how exciting!! It’s been a long time coming ! Congratulations to you 😘
I had my first baby about 6 months ago and she ended up tearing me from one hole to the other.
Felt like the entire left side was not numb..so more like a door id say..lmao
Second baby same..third i said nope bc all it does is cause me back issues for a year at least.
Your so awesome!! Thanks for sharing everything. It's nice to see and hear the confidence of a postpartum mumma!! I'm only on my 2nd week post it's like I'm 6 months preggo still lol but I'm not ashamed or stressed about my bump. So happy to have my little one it's so worth the change!! Thanks for sharing your journey!! ❤
You did such a good job mumma. You should be super proud of yourself. Bubba looks amazing & so do you. Much love to you 🖤🖤
congratulations on having your baby 🤱 i am currently 34 weeks pregnant and I'm scared and terrified of the day I will have to deliver the baby but somehow seeing you went through it like a champ gives me a lot of hope 💪💪
Tocaphobia...its real
I hope you the best of luck and for the epidural to num all the way down!!!!:)
Just started watching...I'm 21 weeks. You're so lovely!!
Hahaha omg that is an amazing birth story! That pressure is no fun! 😢💗
I'm 4 weeks away... and yes your story scares me... but at the same time doesn't... we women and our bodies are so strong . Wow!!
You got this!!! ❤️
