I don't understand how they're going to do the marvel zombies episode. All these episodes have been just PG, not showing any gore or anything. Marvel zombies has been anything but PG, so I dunno how this is gonna work.
They made a smart choice easing the audience into how severely different these alternate universes can be. I have a feeling the season will wrap with a HUGE universal change that blows the doors off.

This episode was amazing! It was dark and hilarious all rolled into one, and I love it. Man I wish we could see the aftermath of this timeline pan out. Hank is in the Yellowjacket suit which if I recall correctly doesn't have the correct helmet to combat the brain chemistry changes the suit inflicts on who is inside it. Hank does look methed out.
The MCU actors who returned for this are sometimes more surprising than the ones who didn't! And I had to note that Hulk's pants held out until the very end

Now, without the mind stone Wanda and Pietro won't unlock their powers. With Loki being a whole new hazard to the world, I dunno if Hydra will survive. Maybe Bucky, but not the organization. Whos is still there? Sam, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Ancient One, Strange, Wong, War Machine, Peter, and Wakandians

So right now With loki on Earth with Asgard's army, Asgard is undefended. Judging from Loki having the Casket of Ancient Winters, Odin is in the Odinsleep. Now im not saying Thanos doesn't still show up but he may end up on a different Path to Earth. Thanos also he Didnt have to deal with Captain Marvel last time either. she is on Earth way earlier,. So she could end up being more of a Deciding factor this time as opposed to not taking the spotlight from the core Avengers in Endgame.

So in that case would he even figure out about Hydra or will Hydra now operate with impunity or will they decide to fight for the good of everyone because with Loki in Charge does the Winter Soldier get pointed his way. Im not thinking about Thanos in this scenario without the core Avengers alone out the picture it changes the course of alot of things on Earth the 8 years before Thanos Shows up. The only hero journey not affected is Dr. Strange but no Bruce there to crash into the Sanctum also changes how he gets involved in the fight when they come looking for the Time Stone. Its really a hell of a what if scenario that could have us theorizing and debating for a lifetime lol.
The title of the episode is misleading, for good reason. It should have been "What if... Hope van Dyne Became An Agent Of SHIELD?" but that would have revealed a major plot point. All in all an awesome murder mystery episode.

As a story, I really enjoyed this and it was awesome how the Hulk look combined Norton and Ruffalo Hulks (the face and hair were very much “The Incredible Hulk”. The only real issue I had was it was a horribly tenuous nexus point, with no real linkage to what we have seen in the MCU before. The comics (and kind of the first two episodes) took moments that we saw previously and let us see what happened after a slight change of decision or circumstances. So, this was slightly disappointing from that stand point - but as I said as a mystery story and thriller it was really entertaining.

What if the reason Abomination didn't show up was because Hope's mission with Shield was to prevent Abominations creation? Neatly covers Abomination not showing up as well as what Hope achieved being in Shield that she couldn't have achieved in the Main MCU outside of shield. And yes I so so so want a part 2 of this, Coulson, Fury, Carol, and Steve against the world - perhaps Coulson could even call in some Agents of Shield characters or something as well for the fight and I'd love to see Steve's reaction of waking up to a new dictator of the world.

In this new universe, the Avengers would have to have some new heroes, the OG 6 (minus Cap) are dead, Scott Lang would never become Ant-Man, and Peter Parker would never be recruited by Stark. All that’s left are Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver, and maybe Doctor Strange. And of course any other new heroes show up to fill in the OG 6 void
Hell I'm not even so sure Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver would get their powers. Wasn't most of their reasoning behind doing so to get revenge on Tony? Here Tony is dead years before Hydra even got the Scepter, assuming they still get it in this timeline, we don't know if they'd still get their powers. Doctor Strange is a maybe, but possibly they could somehow get the Ancient One's help? (Probably not though). Black Panther would currently be T'Chaka. Sam could still become The Falcon, and Bucky might possibly break free of Hydra still (that's another maybe. Natasha is KIA'd in this timeline so CA: Winter Soldier would probably unfold very differently.) Rhodey is still alive and possibly still could be War Machine. The Guardians of the Galaxy would be totally unaffected by the events of this episode, so they're probably just fine for GotG Vol 1 and Vol 2.

Two things about this episode: Someone online pointed out that Loki showed up on Wednesday (Odin's Day) avenged Thor on Thursday (Thor's Day) and conquered earth on Friday (Frigga's Day) Also, in Ant-Man, they mentioned that exposure to Pym Particles can mess with your mind and I think THATS what drove Hank insane. He wore the suit for years and admitted that he couldn't do it again. If it wasn't because he was too old, which he must not be since he's clearly able to fight as we see here, than it must have been due to potential over exposure from years of shrinking. He had already been pushed to the edge by the lost of his daughter, and once he put on the suit and shrunk down again his mind was gone.
If they kick Loki and Asgard off Earth but the Chitauri Invasion still happens... its a 50/50 they win they lose. But if Thanos still comes knocking for the Stones, they're probably Grade A Fucked. And once Thanos snaps again and then yeets the stones outta exist, without Tony, Bruce, or Scott Lang's Ant Man, no Quantum Realm Time Travel.
So the nexus event is Hope van Dyne joining SHIELD instead of Pym Industries, likely wanting to be the hero Janet was. And the Winter Soldier kills Hope on a SHIELD mission in Odessa, Ukraine. Losing both Hope and Janet would definitely have pushed Hank on the edge. In the Sacred Timeline, Natasha survived that encounter but the scientist she was escorting gets killed anyway. (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
So this is basically, WHAT IF Hope Van Dyne was the scientist Black Widow was covering in Odessa... and who got shot by the Winter Soldier. Amazing! Honestly, I wasn't feeling the first two, but this one was, well, GLORIOUS!
Great episode. I think following the Chadwick Boseman episode was going to be tough, because everyone is going to compare it, but this one held its own. Hasnt been a bad episode yet. Coulson was entertaining with his obsession with Thor, also, weird. Yeah when Fury was blocking all the punches from Hank, all I was thinking was "I never knew Nick had these skills" completely brain cramped on Loki being involved.
So the Peggy world is not tied into this one? What about the Ego one? This is closest to the comic book run, but I still like that last one best so far, all the Cameos with the original voices.

Well he blames Fury’s avengers initiative for the death of Hope. So he wanted to see it all crumble kind of like Zemo did in civil war except not nearly as brutal
Hank said that he killed Thor because Fury might have tried to recruit him. He was probably there for Clint, and Thor was just a case of wrong place, wrong time. He saw a potential threat and got rid of it before it became an actual threat. That's my guess, anyway.

So this is basically, WHAT IF Hope Van Dyne was the scientist Black Widow was covering in Odessa... and who got shot by the Winter Soldier. Amazing! Honestly, I wasn't feeling the first two, but this one was, well, GLORIOUS!

Great episode. I think following the Chadwick Boseman episode was going to be tough, because everyone is going to compare it, but this one held its own. Hasnt been a bad episode yet. Coulson was entertaining with his obsession with Thor, also, weird. Yeah when Fury was blocking all the punches from Hank, all I was thinking was "I never knew Nick had these skills" completely brain cramped on Loki being involved.
This was probably my favorite episode so far.
So this universe starts with Captain America AND Captain Marvel…. yeah.. I wanna see more of this universe too lol

Sorry, but I don't need to see anyone whooping the shit out of Loki yet again. It's been done over and over and over, and I've lost any taste for it after the Loki series. So unless a part 2 would lead to something new and different, it's a hard pass from me.
I honestly didn't like last week's episode too much apart from the fact that we got to hear(and kinda see) Chadwick Boseman again which I loved. This episode was great though.
It's funny how people diss this one as just an animation show, while this has been the darkest one we've got yet 😂

If Hank wanted revenge he could've just killed Fury and shield not the Avengers who had virtually nothing to do with him or his family
Well he blames Fury’s avengers initiative for the death of Hope. So he wanted to see it all crumble kind of like Zemo did in civil war except not nearly as brutal

Hank said that he killed Thor because Fury might have tried to recruit him. He was probably there for Clint, and Thor was just a case of wrong place, wrong time. He saw a potential threat and got rid of it before it became an actual threat. That's my guess, anyway.

Last week was just a better star lord here most of the avengers died, hank became yellow jacket, Loki took over earth, and Captain America and Captain Marvel have to save the planet but I guess we all have our own opinions
