Love the summit videos Nolan! One thing you might could try next is stronger servos or even a single high powered brushless servo setup. That combined with the bellcrank mod would probably help a lot. Anyways loving the content.. of the 5 rc's I have the summit is the one I enjoy the most

Hey man! You should try out some skid plates for the summit, I’m running a tbone racing skid plate on my summit and it really saves the underside of your chassis, but great video🫡
Glad you liked it! I’ll have to check out the aftermarket skids….haven’t had too many issues with the stock plastic skids tbh though
in my opinion.. traxxas summit is one of the worst they created. it s not a crawler, or a monster truck. it can't crawl well even with diff locks and it s so top heavy. it comes with a brush motor and it doesn't have the speed or the durability to be a monster truck. and i don't hate on traxxas. i have a traxxas maxx 1/10 and a TRX4. anyway, great video as always. i used the maxx 1/10 sheep driveshafts you told us about and they work great. no problem what so ever. I got all 4 of them for $30 from aliexpress.

I must ask why people wants to change original tyres out? Those are very very good crawling tyres imo. In this video were many moments when originals would have done the job but those cant. :/ But great channel! New subscriber here :p

That thing doesn't crawl very good at all
that's summit for you.. neither a crawler. nor a monster truck. but even with that. he creates really awesome videos.
It’s not the best with these tires on the rock…..but the Summit can definitely still crawl pretty well for an independent suspension machine
@@Techie_ASMR man I got me a cheap everest 10 and it was a dang good crawler out the box 📦 I think it was 149.when I got it.
