Wow! I haven't been on here in months because some of the stuff was getting crazy,, but just hopped on to look up some installation videos. First thing I saw was you and this video. Next thing I saw was 21k subscribers!?! Holy crap! Congratulations! I'm not surprised because when I started you were definitely one of the few that were genuine...andvit seems people are catching the same vibe. Anyways, wish I had stopped there! This video is beyond disturbing yet seems pretty consistent with the mindset of so many across social media. It's disturbing how much is taken for granted.
Yeah, one slip down an embankment with any vehicle will certainly reshuffle your way of thinking, Let's hope that doesn't happen to anyone. Stay safe out there, my brother and sister truckers....🥰
I worked for a company called Vantage Home Health delivering containers of liquid O2 to hospitals and households. We (3 trucks) got stopped almost every day by the PSP DOT officer. He'd let me go every time and we became pretty familiar with each other so I asked him WHY I was always getting stopped. He told me that he had to stop a certain number of HAZMAT trucks every day, and he KNEW our trucks (Vantage) would pass the Level 1 (easy quota fulfillment). So I was put behind on my run to satisfy a quota HE HAD because he knew we wouldn't fail. I did ask him to report the stops though so I could at least get credit for the hassle.
I commented on his video, but didn't break it down like you did. Those SMS results are horrendous! That's going to put truck insurance out of reach if they don't fix it ASAP. He talked about some back to back bad inspections before and I thought they were working themselves back with good inspections...apparently not. I've had 3 level ones with 99 F350's. Yeah, they look hard at old hotshot equipment, but I stay on top of it. I passed each inspection! If I don't think something is right, I shut it down and fix it. Much easier to fix at home than stuck in some weigh station!
Agreed, I was inspected 5 times my first two years. With miscellaneous violations, lights mainly. Had bad wiring. After that with clear inspections, started getting flag on through. They have your records and know your person. But I still wave and smile.
I passed with flying colors on my first week out on the road. My stuff is perfect and I do my pre trip and post trip inspections. As soon as I have 1 single issue on my truck or trailer, I voluntarily take myself OOS and fix what’s wrong!
Yeah he said that on TH-cam! I'm not a HotShot Driver, I do the Sprinter Van thing. I stop watching guys like him on TH-cam, It's all about the clicks for them. I'm on the a lot maybe not as much as some of you HotShot & Trailer drivers and see all the accidents. Your Spot on for calling out this craziness! Keep your head up everyone and be safe!
This is his best DOT inspection very scary. He will be the one that kills someone from a tire blowout. I cant tell you how many bald tires with tread showing I saw in my 25 years on the road as a Police Officer great video...

@@vegaslimoguy2376 it actually came from Texas oil fields. Loads are still hot. Dedicated loads that is. Government put paper logs into place but so many guys had "two" logs the real one kept hidden and a fake one to present. They caught on to it and wanted electronic logs. Plus it's easy for them now to put you out of service and fine you for log violations. Just another way to take people's money. But for the most part it is more LTL anymore than dedicated hot loads. I came over here to give shit but I wanted to see what you posted first and I’ll be honest man. Your not wrong after seeing that he’s had that many violations in 2 years I’m shocked. Your also right that most of the things he got nailed for are basic pre-trip inspections things. Good video pointing these out for others
@@LoadMizer for sure I do hotshotting up here in Canada and I have to say all inspections I’ve had they pull the break away. He also needs airbags in that truck so he stops burning out the front tires. Scares me now knowing he’s going to semi.
There is going to be people who will condemn you for using his video as instructional "what not to do", but this is the perfect "what not to do" video!!!
I got love for bennii but I completely understand your point I thought about this while watching the video of his. Kind of came off across as if he doesn’t do good pre-trips and doesn’t stay compliant
This the only channel I watch for information. Seen most of them. I seen Benni on there once complaining about the DOT pulling him over and found ELD violations. He was all pissed off. I quit watching him for that. Showed me he doesn't know wtf he's talking about.
Benni is a young brother that’s learning the game and actually doing good; 25 and pretty successful; got some work to do but he’s on a good path. Shoot him some advice and coach them up. I’m pretty sure he’ll learn from this inspection. Maintenance is #1, especially when you’re putting people families in harm way with faulty equipment. Gotta stay on top of that, especially the steer tires. Buddy gotta be careful what he’s saying online as well. Self incrimination is at an all time high
That’s the same type of people you’ll work with in the manufacturing environment! And they don’t usually change! The people that do their job end up doing the slackers job too and nothing happens in that world to them! That’s why I’m doing this now! And thank you again for for ALL the great videos bud!
It’s every field of work I swear. Some just have to learn the hard way and some have been learning that way for a very long time and still don’t get it. 🤷♂️
The impression Benni gives is that it is acceptable to cut corners as a truck driver. Sure, if you don't have a problem with risking your life, risking the life of others, paying more for insurance and setting a really crappy example to all of the young truck drivers that watch your videos. We all run risks in the trucking industry no matter how diligent we are with keeping our equipment up to standard and driving safely. But let me find out that an unsafe driver has taken out someone in my family and I will do everything in my power to ensure they suffer from the consequences they deserve (prison, lawsuit). I have no problems using my in cab camera footage to send to company's or provide to law enforcement if it gets an unsafe driver off the road. Major applauds to you Load Mizer for this video. I have shared it with other trucking buddies of mine. It is truly shocking. And for those of you big rig or hotshot drivers that weren't shocked, you need to find other employment before it is too late.
Get Out before it's to late . Hotshot is dead now you're going to stay getting picked on by DOT cause of guys like these and the rates are garbage. Don't get me started if you're non cdl. Just giving some advice dude I just moved out of the hotshot and moved up to the semi
I know they've been running for a while and all of what he's talking about is definitely something he should have known. I my guess is he doesn't do a pre-trip and nor does he know much about his rig mechanically.
Seeing his front tires like that would make me want to get the steering components inspected immediately! The front end doesn’t go out of alignment for no reason, it’s a sign that the ball joints, tie rod ends, ect have worn out of spec causing the misalignment. Forget a blown tire, imagine having a ball joint or tie rod failure while going 70 mph with a 20,000 lb + load behind you.
Exactly, any unusual tyre wear like that usually points to an alignment/camber issue. Here in the UK we have a habit of wearing the outside edge of the l/h tyres out on vans/commercial vehicles because we have a lot of roundabouts on our roads (driving clockwise round a circle so weight leaning to the left) so if you have any sense you rotate your tyres/wheels from l/h to r/h side to even the wear out/maximise tyre life.
@@deezelfairy roundabouts have became popular here in the United States in recent years, I’m not a fan of them. It’s hard to use if you are towing a large trailer and most of the older drivers here don’t understand the proper etiquette.
Depends on the tread depth of the other one. On a single wheel axle if the tread is low on the other side too just change them both. On a dual wheel setup I’d change the tire group on that same side for sure. Like I said it really depends on the tread depth left but if you change a tire on an axle and the other is half tread or less left on it the difference will end up wearing both tires unevenly and you’re doubling the problem. Hope this helped 👍
Thank you. I appreciate how you laid that out. Too many are trying to make a game out of this profession and turn it into a comedy show. Yes, the humor is there and has its place, but not when it comes to jeopardizing safety. It gets crazy out there at times with the uneducated and drivers that don’t care. Like you,I have a family out there and I want to make it home myself. Keep up the good work. Thanks
Lmao you made me laugh so many times! Great video! Me and my friend started our hotshot company three months ago, finally got running steady…. Had my first inspection on side of 80/90 in Ohio two days ago… did a fully inspection and passed and officer even put stickers on truck and trailer for passing ! thanks to you, for all your advice and videos that have put me on the right track!
This is a 4X4 and has a solid front axle which would prohibit the front tires having a camber issue due to weighted rear axle. The typical cause for front tires wearing on the outside with a straight axle is running heavy and doing a lot of turning moving faster than you should be. If the Toe (The only alignment adjustment on this truck unless it the axle was bent in an accident) is not correct it can cause outside wear, but usually the truck will have a vibration that starts at about 30MPH and you cant out run it. No, I think Bennii is hauling very heavy loads and making over speed turns even when parking and backing. I have seen many Dually drivers think because the truck in nimble it's ok to move the truck at a fast pace when backing and parking or even around corners. Your right Load Mizer, Pre-trip should have caught all of this and secured the roads for everyone. This is an example of why Troopers, Police and DOT are hard on Hotshot, because they know these guys try to cut corners and beat the system. Men and Women who follow the rules, spend the money and take the time to be safe pay higher insurance rates because of "Cowboy" Hotshots. So next time someone calls for an insurance quote and they are told $2500, thank Bennii and crew. P.S. I hope Tow Piglet some day gives you your props for your teaching him about the binder of documents. I watched your channel and now my 4 drivers and myself have one on board! I actually suggest to my drivers they follow your channel and Jason's to learn more about their craft. That's right I called it a craft, because it is a profession.
I definitely agree with that. Shouldn't be driven if you can't do a proper PMCS or inspection on your rig. That's how breakdowns, accidents, incidents and other bad things that can happen just by not taking a few minutes everyday to check out your equipment.
Welp glad I have 12 yrs experience of semi and switching over to hotshot now. I’m still learning my trailer but not much of a difference when it comes to pretrips, post trips. These tires are ridiculous 🤦🏾♂️
Good stuff Danny er uhm Ricky ...lol I really appreciate y'alls inputs. Every piece of knowledge wherever it comes from is a Blessing to me ad I know y'all have been there. Safe travels my friend.
Yo, I PANIC when the tires just wear uneven, and almost died when I saw his racing/side treads! Front steers need to be 4/32 tread, I follow that rule for ALL the treads on the tire! So that tread strip that’s bald is automatic OOS!? Am I wrong? He must of had a nice DOT officer.
@@LoadMizer It was a bad idea for Bennii to be carrying that racing slick around with him in the bed, like an advertisement out in the open. That's like game attractant to a DOT officer -- as soon as he sees it, now he _REALLY_ knows he needs to keep his eyes peeled for OOS violations.
Damn, I am not in the Hot Shot business but from what I heard, that individual should not be driving. I wouldn't even pull my RV unless it was safe nor my truck. Crazy! Stay Safe on the road.
I owned 3 Dodge Duallys and 1 ford dually . The suspension parts on these front ends wear out super fast when pulling heavier loads . Dodge especially had problems and it seemed I was burning through tires and constantly changing front end parts . Yeah dudes gonna need a rebuild soon .
If you're burning up steers and destroying front end components, make sure you do new dampers with every set of tyres, and get the wheels balanced on the truck. Get the alignment checked also.
Hello Load Mizer. Thank you for your post. I'm looking to get into this industry. I just did my first "so called" ride along today. The gentleman driving has only been doing this for 6 months. But he barley speaks English so it was difficult to understand what was being stated. I did hear him say something avoiding the weigh station. Which was a red flag for me being in transportation for a number of years. Is there a particular book or session videos that I can use to learn more about the car hauling industry?
And additionally, comparison of records was to illustrate that having a sound work ethic with regards to safety is very much attainable. A person's records will show (in some cases) their patterns toward their work. I say, do the job the right way the first time and you shouldn't have obvious/ problems. Being a retired Air Force cop, I've seen my share accidents because people take for granted the purpose of vehicles and road conditions that they are traveling on.
@Vincent Davis Also to provide Evidence of the Fact that this was not a baseless attack on a person for Making a Mistake.....but rather a calling out of : A Repeated Negligent Behavior from a Person whom, Proudly Claims To Influence Others on a large scale, with the content of his Vid's and Message .......

I'm interested in car hauling and live in western Colorado. How can I find out if there are good lanes to run in and out of my area? Load boards want an MC #, so I can't look to see what's out there before I commit to starting up. Thanks for the videos. Lots of good info.
I see on your that you have multiple things marked that you can or could haul. They only had general freight how did you do that? Was it when you did your msc-150 form?
Yes I added all commodities individually as well as general freight. You can update the form at any time but when I started hauling vehicles I just added them too.
This is absolutely aweful. I cannot believe this. I've had a driver receive an OOS for having pebbles on the deck wedged In between the deck boards. That OOS was lifted once he picked ghe pebbles of the deck. Also had a driver get a OOS for having his 2nd strap 10' 4" down the load which was 4 inches past the 10ft mark. Those are insane OOS reasons in my opinion but imagine the seriousness of THIS OOS?

"He was a good officer because he didn't put that on my record." No, sir, he was a bad officer because he should have nailed for all of the tires and did not do his due diligence to protect those driving around you. I never let my tires get that low on my pov and its 4 banger. Those tires are horrendous, and I guarantee, had you been stopped by on Ohio State DOT, you would have been shut down for all of it, and made to repair it before traveling on, if they let you continue.

Finally someone calls out these guys crap, he had a “short” earlier saying people out here calling him their “hero” “role model” “looking up to him” “an inspiration”, like pump the brakes bro….
RICKY MY MAN!!! Thank u 4 ur view….I appreciate your outlook as well as Haulin Cash Danny’s. Both of u guys have helped me big time. Thanks again 4 speak’n on this.
Thank you! Please keep the videos coming 🙏🏾 I'm new (female) in the Hotshot business and saw Benni's video and was thinking dude you are put out of service and "It was a good inspection!!!) No way 😫🥺
He’s young and learning about truckin his pops is a truckin legend for sure.
PLEASE DEFINE LEGEND? He is not a legend, he's allowing his son and Co Owner of the company to run around looking like amateurs, operating with bald tires and not ACTUALLY performing proper maintenance . Guys don't let this TH-cam fame fool you into thinking they are LEGENDS. People jump ro lease on with these YT famous Companies but don't realize they're gonna be drug into every scale house due to their safety score is Aweful.
Well he needs to learn first and not give misinformation. That BS helps Noone. I'm actually dissapointed that he's doing that because people watch these videos to learn. His pops being elderly doesn't make him a legend.
Lmao I wonder if he has a video of "how to do a pre/post trip inspections"😂🤣😂
He is clearly not learning
Your a real one Load Mizer, I just started hotshot not too long ago and that disgust me. Thanks for being helpful on everything and being an example on how to present yourself and your business! I’ve followed a lot of the things you do and how to keep your paperwork professional and presentable, I appreciate the content!
Thank you for that 💪
Same here! I just made my first run to Tennessee,Kentucky and Ohio this past week. Thanks for all your help!!
@LoadMizer I've been watching you! We are from ky as well and are starting our own authority. Enjoy your videos
Thanks man I appreciate that 👍👍
I can not believe he feels safe driving with those tires like that. Wow. What a danger. Thanks for speaking out about this!
He obviously hasn't seen videos of what happens to a truck when steer tires blow out.
Agreed! People like that should not even be on the road in a car!
Now he's got a class A. 80k pounds of negligence headed down the road at 65-75 mph is even worse. I hope he don't over look the safety issues anymore.
That's terrifying
I commented on his video, but didn't break it down like you did. Those SMS results are horrendous! That's going to put truck insurance out of reach if they don't fix it ASAP. He talked about some back to back bad inspections before and I thought they were working themselves back with good inspections...apparently not. I've had 3 level ones with 99 F350's. Yeah, they look hard at old hotshot equipment, but I stay on top of it. I passed each inspection! If I don't think something is right, I shut it down and fix it. Much easier to fix at home than stuck in some weigh station!
That’s right. Catch it early and you won’t stress.
You find things before they become problems that way 👍
Best way to be. My safety dep. Has us doing pretrip pics and post trip pics never hurts to have more eyes on.
I don’t understand why people that make good money don’t want to invest back into their business it’s absolutely ludicrous
@@chrishopkins8214 Yeah they make all of that money but cant buy 2 new steer tires lol!
@@bryonsusedautos or get an alignment so they quit chewing up the tires.
I’m right there with you. Seen a lot of preventable death and destruction cruising the highways for 13 years. Sad that neglect is so popular now.
People like that should be kept out of service permanently until they learn how important people's lives are
💯
Thats why I stopped watching hot shot benny and towpliget, they obviously do it for views and entertaiment, this guy the load mizer is very educational and realistic. More subscribers for you sir.
Yep I’ve watched hotshot Benni well still do for a what not to do lol but when I first seen this video I thought he was just trying to bash benni but hotshot benni might have just F’d himself with that lesson he thinks he doin I’m in school for my CDL now and see everything wrong with what he did and said 🤦🏽♂️ I’ll still watch him cause I like his energy but not his message 👌🏽 thanks load mizer for pointing it out I ain’t seen his whole video yet and not sure I wanna
Ya I unsubscribed from both of them awhile ago. They are youtubers trying to be hotshotters. Some other ones going that route to. Load Mizer tells the truth.
Hell if I ever see one of my tires bald from any area I freak the hell out, I checked them before atarting my day, while fueling and at the end, but this dude hot shot benny, he don't seem to be doing his pre-trips and in one of his videos he recommends to do your pre-trips everytime, but he doesn't, yeah its good to learn from other peoples mistakes, but dude.... its guys like him that makes dot want to screw us more
@@vegaslimoguy2376 it actually came from Texas oil fields. But 90% of my loads are dedicated. I'm not a big fan of partials but will take them if I need to.
Driving for Benny will have you're ass locked up lol I seen a video of him actually losing a tire on the highway I think the tire was on fire as well
Hello Load Mizer… been a fan. I have my hot shot now and it’s a 2500 Dodge Ram with a 25+5 trailer.. Just wanted to know all the documents I need to be on the road and pass all the inspections.. thanks
I came over here to give shit but I wanted to see what you posted first and I’ll be honest man. Your not wrong after seeing that he’s had that many violations in 2 years I’m shocked. Your also right that most of the things he got nailed for are basic pre-trip inspections things. Good video pointing these out for others
Can’t make people understand, can only show em lol
@@LoadMizer for sure I do hotshotting up here in Canada and I have to say all inspections I’ve had they pull the break away. He also needs airbags in that truck so he stops burning out the front tires. Scares me now knowing he’s going to semi.
Small issues are magnified on those. So is the cost wether it be monetary or injury.
There is going to be people who will condemn you for using his video as instructional "what not to do", but this is the perfect "what not to do" video!!!
Been plenty of that on here.
Sad part is, this isn't uncommon. I see trucks on the road that should be, let alone hauling commercially
Thank you this the comment I was looking for 💯💯💯
There’s no excuse!! Trucking is Trucking n it’s only 1 way to do trucking no other ways.
Be alert respect the weather and don’t fall a victim
🦅💪🏿😜
Great video bro I hope he don’t take it the wrong way and learn from this video
Exactly what I hope too.
I just got into the hot shot game, thank you brotha for all the advice. Been watching a lot of your videos
Good luck out here man 👍
Get Out before it's to late . Hotshot is dead now you're going to stay getting picked on by DOT cause of guys like these and the rates are garbage. Don't get me started if you're non cdl. Just giving some advice dude I just moved out of the hotshot and moved up to the semi
As a new entrant to the hotshot world I really appreciate this!! Safety is first! Not TH-cam.
Run far away from it
I know they've been running for a while and all of what he's talking about is definitely something he should have known.
One of my tires on my trailer is getting bad should I replace both tires at the same time? Or just that one, thanks
Great video I just found ya and subbed! I like Bennii but everything you said was spot on.
You are spot on with this video load mizer when I watched the video of Benny I was shaking my head the whole time.
That’s a big comment with a lot to digest. I appreciate the support and glad to be able to make life a little easier for you and your guys 👍👍
I appreciate the kind words!
So glad I drove a semi before this too. You’re able to bring so many skills into this crazy industry.
From semi to hotshot? How come?
Good stuff Danny er uhm Ricky ...lol I really appreciate y'alls inputs. Every piece of knowledge wherever it comes from is a Blessing to me ad I know y'all have been there. Safe travels my friend.
Hotshot Benni is trying to keep it REAL and HONEST but the self-snitching will get him in trouble with DOT and lawyers. “I just drive by scales” 😬
He should’ve never seen that tire in the first place. It was worn to the sidewall.
Try bean bags instead of weights
awesome. I was in shock just listening to him describe how bad his equipment is…
Damn, I am not in the Hot Shot business but from what I heard, that individual should not be driving. I wouldn't even pull my RV unless it was safe nor my truck. Crazy! Stay Safe on the road.
Thanks for correcting, that's why I follow what make sense
Just gained a new sub. Thank you for the info.
You keeping it real 💯 some might not like the critique
The ones that didn’t like it needed to hear it the most 💯
In my opinion, this wasn't a critique but a warning to others.
You can get a battery box for the trailer for the break away that has different functions and has a dot check button.
Hey Mizer
just have a question about the small rollers on back of the trailer ..can you tell me where i can find them.
You can get them off Amazon. Search 2” heavy duty roller wheel 👍
If this was his best stop I shudder at the thought of what his worst one looked like.
“If I get a good inspection this would be crazy” wow

These people are trying to become celebrities talking too much stupidity man. But i agree with you it needs to stop
Good stuff!! All facts.
I’ve been at this for almost a year and your videos very helpful when I was learning the ropes really appreciate you. Mac express
I'm interested in car hauling and live in western Colorado. How can I find out if there are good lanes to run in and out of my area? Load boards want an MC #, so I can't look to see what's out there before I commit to starting up. Thanks for the videos. Lots of good info.
Good advice. Thanks for making this video.
Twice I’ve been on the FL scale and the officer came out to me … look’d over the truck ‘n trailer and said have a nice day … because I looked squared away 💁🏻♂️
That steer tire looks like a drag slick, that’s unbelievable 🤦🏾♂️
This is Gold!
Basic shit you check before you start the truck. I’m surprised he let him go at all.
I just bought a 2007 E-450 6.8L cab and chassis... I'm getting a used gooseneck and will be getting back to Hot shot driving again...I miss it too much...love the road...
I've learned a lot on my own and I rarely watch these guys you mentioned because they are full of crap...!!!!
I've been driving box trucks and trucks since I was 16 years old... I'm 53 now and never got a DOT citation...
I do my pre and post Trip check list and as soon as I see something about to go out or break, I get it fixed ASAP...!!!!
I've never had a wreck or wheels fly off the trailer or truck...
I'm driving a cab and chassis Ford van for now since gas is cheaper than diesel...
The Ford 6.8L is just as strong as a diesel but cheaper to maintain...!!!
Keep doing what you're doing...I appreciate your honesty... THESE guys have no clue what they are doing...
My man is back at it! I love it!
Leave TH-cam alone for 6 months and come back to this mess 😂
@@LoadMizer yeah I literally couldn’t fathom when he said that was his best inspection yet 🤣 like man, setting the bar reallllll low there lmao

Great Video! We need more of this!
I had a friend who let his driver's front steer explode and blow the front fender off of his Pete. The cost was over $5k and a 3-week loss of income. CHANGE YOUR STEERS AT 4/32nds (1/8th")!
Sometimes shit happens without knowing or the littlest thing can put you OOS. My truck Gucci and I’m nervous every time saying the same thing…if they pass me I’d be happy
Great video. You're speaking all FACTS. 👍
Hey i passed the load mizer today going down 385 in memphis/collierville area. I was in a white 5500 dodge tow truck.
I was headed home 😂
Can’t imagine how he’s going to like those fines with that tractor they just bought if they do those things
Exactly what i was thinking when I saw the video. Benni seems like a good guy, however he is TH-camr posing to be a trucker. He is clueless when it comes to common sence it seems. And to think he has a Semi aswell. That's a big weapon if not operating safely. And the SMS violation....good greif. There like a baby Swift...🤡👀
The front tire wear was caused from too much weight close to the gooseneck.
I just got hit with a level 1 out of Cali. I’m still in a semi tractor trailer but I passed my inspection. Is it harder in a hotshot?
Not harder at all. It’s faster and easier to inspect a hotshot setup but all of the things you need to keep an eye on are the same, just smaller
Thank you for pointing this stuff out. I just started watching hotshot Benny and definitely got drawn into that charisma you mentioned. I didn't think too much of it when I was just casually watching that video of his.
This right here is exactly why I made this video. I wasn’t even going to make a video about this until I started reading the comments and seeing exactly what you just said. Hardly anyone even saw a problem.
When I take my personal vehicle for any type of trip I do a pre inspection. This man is not road safe. I always give truckers and other large vehicles plenty of room. I always have an out because of drivers like this.
Great video! 👍
Seems to me he overcame a lot and he’s still going… that in itself deserves a salute
Never drove truck before but I have worked as a tire tech and that’s wild
