Yes love Somerset had lovely hols staying at a house on Brean Sands a few times & Burnham a couple of times also. Was a real haven, took plenty of magical sunsets. Sadly seems they're not renting it out now. Merry Xmas & happy hols to all 🎄🎁💖
Everything is a chance to experience things for the first time through Noah's eyes. What an adventure! My cousin lives in Somerset. Long rambling walks are just short of a religion. When you move to the country, you don't reno your house, you don't find services in the area, and you don't plant a garden...you buy a dog. I think it might be a law. 🙄

Plenty of city folks hunt but they can't do it in the city for obvious reasons lol So they go to the country to do the hunting.. but far more common outside the city
Texas is definitely one you don't want to cross the private land but even more so is Montana! I had a friend when I was a kid who crossed a Montana farmer's land and when he told him to get off his land the kid flipped him off so the farmer shot his middle finger off.. true story! Of course he stopped flipping people off after that.. and it was not life endangering exactly.. but you can't do that in America.
Hunting and Shooting is only controversial in the UK to those who are opposed to a traditional method of finding food. Having a licence is always better than not.

I'm definitely on the DON'T HUNT - DON'T EAT ANIMALS side. I've been vegetarian for 58 years, since I was 11. Nothing more disgusting than a truck bed full of beautiful dead birds that were clearly shot just for the fun of it. Once in Calif, I walked past a parked truck with a bunch of dead doves (the peace bird), only one was not dead. I took it home with me in a box on the back of a motorcycle and nursed it back to health. KINDNESS OVER CRUELTY 💖
