I don't usually see hondas with that problem but it can happen. If you need any assistance with the replacement let me know. pnw.smallengineandlawn@gmail.com
Did it leak after this? For me it wasn't the seal on the cover, it was an o-ring on the camshaft. Luckily i had an old o-ring kit from Harbor Freight with an exact replacement for it.
Have you had any Kohler 7000 24 Hp. bolts sher off of the crank? That turns the mower belt. I took the motor off the frame and tried to tap the bolt. My tap broke off. I drilled a hole next to the tap and finally got the tap out. Is it hard to replace the crank? Or should I try to re thread the crank? Does the bolt have thread lock on it?? Thanks for any help.
I would think your oil is over filled or your carb is leaking gas and going into your engine and mixing with the oil. After a while it will start coming out of the carb. Smell your oil. If it smells like gas then repair the carb and drain the oil
I went through a lot of drill bits. Man, that's a hard metal bolt!!
I just took my friends to start it/clean carb, and it was leaking a good bit of oil.
It's actually the oil seal at bottom of engine, for sure.

Another great video,I always had some trouble getting the valve cover off, wish Honda made a valve cover gasket.
Ya it's very annoying. All the other Honda do
What kind of platform are you using to elevate your pressure washer?
I think it is a vevor lift table I added a top to make it wider

It stopped this leak. The crank seal can also be the problem but valve cover leaks are something I see often
Great video What is the torque spec ?
Roughly 7 ft pound

It isn't hard to replace the crank. It is very expensive considering you will need a new crank and gasket kit. Personally I would rethread the crank.

I'm going to give it a try. The hole is to one side of the broken bolt. Is that very common?
Hello , my is leaking oil through the filter…any idea what it is happening

Know how to add oil or what oil to use?
The dip stick has marks. Take it out while the engine is off and wipe it off. Put it back in and check. Usually you use 10w30
I just wanted to comment.
