I'm the only daughter Alhumdulillah I was never treated this way by either of my parents because I was raised emotionless, numb & daucile with a just the right amount of low self esteem to keep things on the straight & narrow (what they thought was best at that time) To all the parents or soon to be parents out there never see or treat your children in black & white mode as illustrated in this video even though you might genuinely think it's the correct way & mean no harm. It's not fair to you or them in fact Allah (SWT) dislikes & prohibits such behaviours towards ones children regardless of differences like gender, age, intellect etc. We all belong to Allah (SWT) & will return to Him one day. Children are given as gifts on a loan to you so treat them with kindness, respect & nurture & raise them to become the best version of themselves so they can pay it forward when youre at the recieving end.
