In this video we detail the steps to clean the coil in you Manufactured Home HVAC unit. This will save you big $$$ on your power bill along with keeping your home cooler.
I want to take a moment to thank you very helpful my AC gets as old as my trailer 1983 and it is 20-22 time for a cleaning thank you so much coming back from Cambodia really need the AC thanks again
Amen brother, very helpful video for my AC unit the best part is you preaching on Christ that's the main fixed issue we need you have a blessed one thanks for the video.
Probiotic cleaner is the only way to remove the biofilm off the coils. Acid type cleaners work pretty well like the one you used, but it etches the coils, shortening their life and actually hardens the biofilm. Probiotic cleaners restore lost efficiency in your system due to removing the biofilm.
Hello thank you for the video .. I just purchased a double modular. I have a giant outdoor heater / air conditioner... I don't see a filter anywhere?? Could you guide me to where the filter is supposed to go? And my coils are packed solid
In general a good DIY video. But the unit is missing the P trap on the condensate drain. Without the trap filled with water it will suck in air from near the ground, keep the condensed water from draining which makes the water overflow the drain pan and wets the insulation on the bottom, a recipe for mold and corrosion (rust) . Some water will still come out the drain when the evaporator area is overflowing but it's bad for all the reasons listed. If you check the installation manual it is very emphatic about installing a P-trap and the dimensions it should have.
Hi, Thanks for the comment. I think you would still need to use the coil cleaning spray to dissolve all the residue on the coil. Air compressor could work but I would be very careful to make sure it doesn't bend the coil fins. Would still suggest the hose to was off all the residue.
I had a company come over and clean my unit. I told him the air coming into the house wasn't very cold, He told me that the unit needs more refrigerant but because this unit is so old he couldn't add new coolant. I have this same unit on my mobile home. can you show how to add coolant, or is this something I should have a pro do?
Hi Rick, Adding coolant is a little technical and requires a set of gauges. He may be saying he can't add coolant because you have an old R22 refrigerant system for which R22 gas is being phased out in 2020 and may no longer be available. After the new R410 gas came out which replaces R22 it was said you had to replace your R22 equipment to a newer R410 system. We have a lot of rental homes and while I clean my own coils I find it more efficient to hire out my AC maintenance. The AC company we have been using told me recently in the last few months something came out or changed so that now these old R22 systems can be charged wit a new gas which I am not sure if it was R410 or some other R22 compatible gas thus making it possible to continue using your old R22 equipment. Assuming you have a R22 system, call around to some other companies and ask them if they can add gas to a R22 system or change out the R22 gas to a newer gas in your old R22 system and I think you will find the answer you are looking for. There are a lot of post on the internet on this topic but many are older post and are based on the R22/R410 requirements which were in effect a year back. Hope this helps.
@@creativerepairing2960 no the ac guy is saying it so he can sell him a 10k system so the ac guy can collect a $3k commision check, the slime balls. Surprisingly, i'm shocked the ac guy didn't rack him up a $500 refrigerant charge that only probally need $200 worth
Hi Joe, 72 is running an ac pretty cool. Usually AC's are sized at 1 ton per 500 sqft of living space but mobile homes are less efficient so you might need more than that particularly if you are trying to pull 72. If you determine your ac is sized correctly, use a stick thermometer to check the temperature going into the return air grill and check one of the ac vents blowing cold air. The difference in temperature should be about 20 degrees. If it is a 20 degree difference start looking more at insulation efficiencies or air losses in your duct system. I have other videos on my channel on how to increase ac efficiency in a mobile home.
@@creativerepairing2960 so we called someone to check it out and the ac ducts are torn up huge holes we had to replace them and now its working good thanks
Actually, why do you think that the Creative Essence of all that is in this and all universes is a He? Could it possibly be that you need to look a little deeper into your understanding? But thanks for your video, very helpful.
Those that come to God MUST believe that he is ( God) and that he is a rewarded of those that delinquent seek him. Some people have a head belief but it takes a heart belief in God. When we have a heart belief it will be seen in our actions. A head belief will not.
Hi Kevin, Thanks for the comment. Yes you are exactly right. That's where so many people miss it in that a call for salvation is usually "quick repeat these word after me" before you change your mind. Just saying words in a prayer doesn't create salvation but rather heart driven submission to Jesus as your Lord.
@@creativerepairing2960 you are exactly right my friend. There is a scripture that says" seek ye to enter in at the straight gate for many will seek to enter in but will not be able. " there are people that want a savior but not a lord and master. Those people might even repent but God can see our heart and he knows when someone is truly willing to surrender their lives to him. Gods promises are all true but their also conditional. If we come to God but have not fully surrendered we will not be converted ( saved) but satan will never loose the opportunity to deceive and will deceive people into believing they did get saved. This unfortunately has happened millions of times.
The part of this video I liked was when he was talking about Christ. I was a believer in Christ and I accepted him but I wasn’t sure if he was real. In the video he told us to ask god for a sign that he is real and the exact same day a girl I have a crush on messaged me, That I hadn’t talked to since coronavirus started. I am now a FBI. Thank you for enhancing my faith with the lord. I loved this video.

Filter should be where the return air grill is inside the house.

That drain should have a ptrap on it
Be care with the water pressure it could bend the fins
Where do I find a water diverter?
