    Would you mind sharing the names of the products used, like the smart lockers, door locks?

      smart lockers go to laundromatinabox.com door locks I just went to a company by the name of Scheller who specializes in this and had them installed. Don't know the brand. If I find out I'll post.

    Do you guys have any horizons or toploader in any locations still? Also why are you only getting huebsh machines when you retool, I have noticed that usually it is speed queen equipment getting replaced by huebsh. Great videos and laundromats!

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We do have some leftover horizons that will be replaced. We also have some at the warehouse that I need to sell. We use Huebsch, because there is a dealer closer like an hour away. Since it's the same machine as speed queen we thought it would be much easier of a transition.

      @@splashemoutlaundromat thank you for answering, great laundromats, unfortunately near me we only have a laundromat with speed queen horizons and speed queen toploaders where all the others only have Maytag and Dexter equipment which I like Dexter but I prefer speed queen or huebsh

    I am looking for my first laundromat. Trying to budget for re-tooling an existing location. Can you do a video on what Brand Equipment that you like & why?

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We can do a video, but for the most part we are not brand loyal. We do like to shop, and see what's out there, but let me think on a video. thanks.

      Are there brands to stay away from? How is it best to research as it seems like the distributors are all saying that they have the best product. Which I get. Just trying to get in biased info.
      Thanks again for the videos. They are very informative and much appreciated.

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@klane1971 Personally I didn't have much luck with Maytag. I have used continental, speed queen, Huebsch, and Dexter. I feel that no matter what you choose if you don't have a good distributor who backs the product with support any of them will be bad. I am not biased toward any brand per se.

    Smart lockers rundown please

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You scan a QR code fill out and then we get a text that there is an order in the locker to be processed. We then place it back in a locker for the customer to pick up and they will receive a text that the order is finished.

      I can't explain the business model in Europe, but here in the States people wait in line to use the washers and dryers. I could not imaging just 5 or 6 washers here. Thanks for watching.

    You can make it passive but you will lose alot of margin, hiring cleaners

    Curious why there is an ATM machine.... At my new store, I plan to use Laundroworks on everything, including my vending. Do I need an ATM or Bill Buster?

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ATM is just an added benefit for our customers. With out bonus program a lot of people decide to get cash so they can get 2 dollars free on 20 dollars cash. Plus people come in all the time just to get cash

      Making it passive is an easy decision. When I started out I was there every day. As business quickly built, I decided to trade some money for time. Put in remote maglocks, thermostats, already had cards. Soon, I only needed staffing a few hours at night to clean. Business continued to grow and I expanded staffing to provide more personal service. Starting our 2nd build now and will start completely automated. Alexa has made a huge difference for small businesses. I still fix things ASAP because it drives me crazy having an OOO sign. Love the lockers, I am considering wdf at one location ... where did you get them?
