We did the same a few years ago for a 1992 Saab 900 Turbo vert in Orlando. Flew over, picked up at airport and drove back to Houston, 1,000 miles. We spent four leisurely days following the Gulf coast roads and had a great time. It became my daily commuter until I retired.

We were hoping to make ours leisurely as well even planning to see Mount Rushmore. Unfortunately, we had to rush more for the Pennsylvania border!

Have owned Saab’s for 34 years. Owned the exact model, year and color of your car. What fun!

Both episodes were very nicely put together and narrated. I really enjoyed both. Just with there was more!

Thanks! Be careful what you wish for! More is on the way plus other car related content.

I've spotted that you're doing around 72 mph at about 2,500 rpm which is quite low. For a non-turbo B201engine with Bosch K-Jetronic/CIS should be around 3,000 rpm. What type of primary gears do you have in your car? Looking at those figures, it can't be the standard Type 6.
