there are no tutorials like this! mostly just playing tru and helping to memorize, instead of analyzing the invention! Thank Hoffman!!! Really looking forward to level-6
I have been trying to learn this song for YEARS. I came across your video and now I can play it perfectly in just 30 minutes. Thank you so much Hoffman!
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, some of the lyrics in the song “Havana” are not appropriate for our curriculum. Because children make up a large portion of our audience, we choose to teach only music that could be considered family friendly and appropriate for all ages.
I love your lessons and it is this one led me found Hoffman academy, you help thousands people dream came true. Really really man, wish your subscribers should over 1M very soon.

Ik ben ondertussen 59 jaar en reeds veel aan je lessen gehad. Ondertussen ben ik jawel op niveau 4jaar. Ik ben september 2023 begonnen met muziekacademie 😊
My teacher has a piano and she brings it every Friday so my class can play on it. But the problem is that I’m not that good not the piano but every one else is soooo good at it but because of this it’s my turn to show my off sooooo hard
I play with e octave jumps complete differently. The 3rd e in the sequence I play with my right thumb. Then while that repeated e is being played, I move the left hand into position. It's a LOT easier and doesn't require a quick abrupt jump of the left hand.
I love your ending stories and performances Mr. Hoffman. Would you please consider doing a level 2 or even a level 3 before we reach this quiet a harder lever 4. This has been my dream to play Fur Elise and till level 1 you've made it possible. we would appreciate level 2 and 3 please :). Thank you very much in advance.

Wow, congratulations on your great progress! We just finished our Unit 11 lessons and have officially started the first stages of Unit 12 videos. I apologize that we aren't able to move forward as quickly as you are. We've posted an article with several sites that offer sheet music (often free), where you can find new pieces to play: www.hoffmanacademy.com/blog/finding-music-your-child-will-love-to-learn/. I hope that helps!

Hey mr.Hoffman I have a question how is this grade 4 ? Is this RCM or abrsm ? Because as a 1 month piano player I was able to learn this in a few weeks
Great question. Our lessons and leveling don't follow RCM or ABRSM. We base it on length of study since being an absolute beginner in music in general and piano in particular. I would expect a student who has taken piano lessons for about four years to be able to handle learning this piece in a few weeks. A new student could certainly learn it, especially memorizing it by rote; however, a 4-year student could pick up this (or similar) music on their own, read and understand the symbols on it without explanation, and do a great deal of the learning and practicing on their own. If you were very familiar with the song to begin with, have studied singing or played other instruments, or took piano lessons many years ago, those would all contribute to making this piece comparatively easy for you to learn. If none of those apply, it sounds like you have a knack for it. 😉
Hoffman Academy thanks for the answer although I've never took piano lessons before or have been handling with music I was able to pick all that even as a 1 month player by the way I'm only 11 so does that mean I have a talent?
There is no Fur Elise tutorial for levels 2 and 3. The "levels" are purely to show the difficulty level of the tutorial. We have a simplified version which is a "level 1" difficulty. Then, there is a "level 4" difficulty level tutorial. We also have "level 6" tutorials for Fur Elise to learn the full, original version. We don't have a version for levels 2, 3, and 5. I hope that makes sense!
For this song we decided to make only preparatory, level 1, level 4, and level 6 tutorials because there wasn’t a good way to adapt it for the intermediate levels. If you’ve mastered the level 1 tutorial, feel free to attempt the level 4 tutorial.
Hi! If you don't have enough keys on your keyboard, you may need to modify the song slightly by moving one or both hands an octave up or down, or leaving out some of the notes.
I'm sorry if I'm going too fast. If you want to slow the video down, you can always change the settings on the TH-cam player. Just click on the gear symbol on the bottom of the video, then go up to click where it says "speed" and you'll be able to choose from several different options. Also, if you're finding this tutorial to be too challenging, you can always try our Preparatory level or level 1 tutorial for Für Elise. Preparatory: th-cam.com/video/n7he-GGKsYo/w-d-xo.html Level 1: th-cam.com/video/_Pp2k698LU8/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps! Good luck and happy playing!
Hi! There are no tutorials on Fur Elise for Level 2, 3, or 5. We assign levels based on the difficulty level of the tutorial. This lesson is a "level 4" of difficulty. Our next 2 tutorials for Fur Elise have a "level 6" difficulty level. I hope that makes sense, and sorry for any confusion!
For this song we decided to make only preparatory, level 1, level 4, and level 6 tutorials because there wasn’t a good way to adapt it for the intermediate levels. If you’ve mastered the level 1 tutorial, feel free to attempt the level 4 tutorial.
Do you mean just using one finger to play all of the notes? It's better to learn how to play with multiple fingers. If this tutorial is a little too challenging, check out our Preparatory level tutorial: th-cam.com/video/n7he-GGKsYo/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps!
Hoffman Academy I’m just using a iPad on Piano that’s why I do that it’s hard to use multiple fingers on iPad but I’m getting a piano soon 😁 I also skipped a little bit the C PART

I'm afraid we don't actually have tutorials for Level 2 or 3. But you did just what I would have suggested: Once you've mastered Level 1, give Level 4 a try. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help!
We do not have a level 3. If you find yourself somewhere between levels 1 and 4, I recommend you work hard on the Level 1 tutorial until you've totally mastered it, then start working on Level 4 in very small sections at a time. I hope that helps!
@@Hoffmanacademy thank you very much for your advice Mr. Hoffman, it must be hard for you to keep answering these never ending questions of is there a level 2 and 3 and can you do level 2 and 3 - even from me at the start) perhaps if you mention in your videos and the reason, less people will ask. Regarding your advice of practicing level one till we master it.....but level one is so different from level 4, in level 4 the right hand does all that is done in level 1 by two hands.....and the left hand is busy making other music :). but sure, i will try to learn from your fingers. i only have a keyboard that i practice from.
We do offer a complete series of piano lesson videos that teach note reading as well as music theory, transposition, improvisation, composition, technique, and more! Here's a playlist of some of our lessons that specifically focus on sight reading: th-cam.com/video/0oBxLMD1-xs/w-d-xo.html. I hope that helps!
If you go to the lesson on our website: hoffmanacademy.com/lessons/piano/fur-elise-beethoven/video/3/ and log in to your account, there should be a box in the bottom left corner of the video that says "Printables." Click on that and it will let you download the sheet music. I hope that helps! Let us know if you're still having trouble.
We ran into a roadblock with our level 6 tutorial, and decided to prioritize our core curriculum. We haven't forgotten about it, but it might be a while longer before it's finished.
For Fur Elise, we decided just to make Preparatory, Level 1, Level 4, and Level 6 tutorials. If you've mastered the Level 1 tutorial, you can try the Level 4 one. I hope that helps!
I'm afraid there is not a Level 2 tutorial for this piece as it is not easily simplified. If you keep practicing and improving your skills, I'm confident you will be able to successfully revisit this piece in the future. Good luck!
@@Hoffmanacademy so you mean that from level 1, if we keep watching this video of level 4 enough times, we could succeed to play it without the transition of levels 2 and 3? i find it hard to read the notes but perhaps by looking at your fingers and where they go, i could learn. I hope so. Thank you very much Mr. Hoffman.
Everything was clear and precise with the first parts left and right hands, but then you completely skipped over putting the two hands together and moved right on to the next section.
We're sorry we skipped over that part. For some general tips on putting hands together, check out our blog post on the subject: www.hoffmanacademy.com/blog/how-to-play-with-both-hands-for-beginning-pianists/

this is too complicated for me I cant find the level 2
I'm afraid there is not a Level 2 tutorial for this piece as it is not easily simplified. If you keep practicing and improving your skills, I'm confident you will be able to successfully revisit this piece in the future. Good luck!
@@Hoffmanacademy so you mean that from level 1, if we keep watching this video of level 4 enough times, we could succeed to play it without the transition of levels 2 and 3? i find it hard to read the notes but perhaps by looking at your fingers and where they go, i could learn. I hope so. Thank you very much Mr. Hoffman.
I’ve been playing for like 5 days :P I have no idea what I’m doing I feel dumb ;-;
If this tutorial is too challenging, you can try our preparatory tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/n7he-GGKsYo/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps!
Ooh!!
